Soviet onslaught!

Gday gday,
Long time no post i know. Been working like a dawg!
Between work and life in general just been finding hard to sit down long enough to get  a good hobby sesh in. But alas i have been chipping away at some Team Yankee Soviets.
Bit of modulated green and some 2 tone camo is dress of the day. I will keep plodding along so bear with me,

Cheers gents and may your paints stay thin and dice roll true.

Snootchy Bootchy

Hey hey,
Long time no post right? So lately my wargaming mojo has hit rock bottom. Have managed to get in some games of pulp, FOW and dystopian wars here and there but as for painting zilch on the gaming front.
New shiney ps4 and many many novels have kept my interest as well as the usual family stuff. Kids have been crook again
too.
Both the epic and dystopian wars french have gone by bys so my collection is rather thin at the moment. This prompted me to finish the BTR80.
The wife is on holidays at the moment so ive had ample time between family outings to get my ho on!
Cheers

The Reds are coming!!!!!! 6mm Soviets

Hello Hello,

Finished my soviets. Not happy with them but they will do. The camo turned out completely different to how I would have liked. I think I may grab another combat command from GHQ to try again.

Cheers

TGIF!!!!!!!!

Greetings fellow travellers!

What a day its been, a nice sunny day. We have had horrible weather of late and the laundry produced by two children immense! My Dad calls today to tell me he had a workplace accident and almost lost his fingers, He tells me this 4 days after the surgery to sew up nerves and arteries WTF DAD!

Ok enough of my domestic bliss :p Onto serious business of man dollies. Finished off today my Soviets which completes all the Cold War Armour I have until QRF send my 2 pending orders.
Very pleased with how the new camo turned out.
I'm hoping I can persuade a friend coming over for infinity to have a game!

Advancing towards the Rhine!
 QRF MTLB

 PIONs
 Tunguskas

Trying to squeeze it into the little space I have left.
 Brits Advancing to contact.

 Whats up next to paint.

From Russia with love!

Good Morning peeps, got some airbrushing this morning done after the kids and I got home from walking.
I used a lighter green this time and happy with the results. Below you can see a finished T80 using the darker green.
Hope you like them, maybe not 100% historically accurate but good enough for me.

Cheers
Matt

This is what I was aiming at

Progress is made!!

Hullo!!!
Did everyone watch the season finally of Game of Thrones? Amazeballs, thoroughly enjoyed it and with it ending the new season of Falling Skies beings FIZZZZZZZZZ.

This after noon I pretty much finished of my chieftains and swingfires. Took the pictures before the wet pigments went on.
Still awaiting on another troop of chieftains from Qrf.

Got another troop of T80s primed and ready and the BHQ MTLB.

A nice yet tiny package arrived today!
My first of many 1/2400 modern naval ships. This is a Arleigh Burke class from CinC miniatures. Not to bad but soooooo tiny, took a pic next to a infinity model.
Primed and ready!

So that's it for the hobby side today.
Watched Monsters Inc for the first time today with my 2 yr old son, he loved it. Not a bad movie at all.
Today was also the big E3 gaming announcements and WOWzers were they good!
PS4 looks to be the winner IMHO at this stage with Tom Clancy's "The Division" and Metal Gear Solid V being my highlights.

Hope everyone else had a nice day too.
Cheers
Matt
