Pumpkin Patch

It's that time of year! We took Nathan & Alexa to a little local pumpkin patch on Saturday. It was nothing special-- just pumpkins! We figure we can take them to a more fun-filled pumpkin patch day when they can run around & enjoy it! We all still had a good time & Nathan & Alexa LOVED their own little toddler size pumpkins! We also picked out a bigger family pumpkin that we'll carve tonight for Family Night! I am SO excited for Halloween this year! Last year they were too little to take out & we didn't even do costumes. This year I can't WAIT to dress them up! They're going to be so adorable!! I'm even dressing up in a coordinating outfit! Be excited... be VERY excited!!!

Alexa Walks

My kids are finally looking like they may walk someday. Alexa has been showing signs for quite a while now but she's very cautious & doesn't have much confidence. She's recently become a little more brave. Here are a couple of videos to show her new skills: Isn't she adorable? Nathan... well... we found out that he totally can stand up on his own but chooses not to most of the time. I think one day he'll just start walking when he's good & ready!

The rest

Here are some pics from the rest of our fun trip to Utah! We came back from Colorado & went straight to my cousin Angie's wedding dinner. The next morning was the sealing at the Bountiful temple. I don't have any pictures of that but Angie was a GORGEOUS bride & she & Scott were both glowing with happiness! Here are N & A having oh-so-much fun at the reception (not). They were very tired & we didn't last long! Alexa is with Grandma Great Gines, Nathan with my mom. Grandpa (my dad) unfortunately missed the wedding. He had a CT Scan the Monday before to check out some chest pains (which is has regularly) and a blood clot was found in his lungs. They admitted him right away & started him on blood thinners. Our family is so grateful for his current health & pretty much that he's still alive! Heavenly Father is definitely protecting this guy. And for good reason! We need him around! Grandpa got out of the hospital on Saturday & we ...

Our trip thus far

Last Wednesday night, with the help of a good friend, Nathan, Alexa, & I flew to Salt Lake. Our flight left at 9pm & while I thought my plan of flying at night might backfire, it didn't. My babies slept like... well... babies the entire way there. Our first couple of days in Salt Lake were so much fun. With N & A a little older now, they really know who Grandma is & by Saturday, were attached to her in a big way. They wanted nothing to do with me. I'm ok with that. Here are some pictures of them playing with Grandma in the garage. They loved that classic red car with the yellow roof. We could barely tear them away! Saturday the kids & I headed of on a new adventure. We took a mini-trip to Colorado to see Tiffany & her family. It was my first flight alone with Nathan & Alexa. It was quite the fiasco but they behaved on the plane. (Wish I could say the same for the flight back to SLC, which was quite nightmarish). We had a blast hangin...
