Weekend retreat

There is a virtual retreat going on on stashbuster this weekend. I decided to go on with the red-cream-brown quilt from last post, it has now grown, and will be bigger than I first intended it to be - a table-cloth - now it's going to be a lap-quilt, and I had to cut some more red's this morning.a whole box full of red and cream precuts (size 3.5") is almost to its end. And that feels so good.

I have also prepared some hand-applique to bring with me outsides now in the summer. The pattern is from the norwegian designer AnnAKa

Too many flowers

I discovered the other day that my Lilac (Syrin in Norwegian) had far too many flowers on each stem, so it is bending over. But pretty and nice smell anyhow.

The rest of the pictures shown some things i have been working on this weekend. A smal purse for my daugthers friend, a red/cream leader/ender project, a small circular "bag" for storing circular knitting needles - pattern from Jordbærstedet
And the heart was on the sidewalk after a rain shower a few days ago.

Just a small taste of quilting

A small purse I made as a birthday-gift for younges dauthers friend.

It has been so hot the latest days, so I have spendt most of the time outdoors, in the garden. Wednesday my quilt-guild Trondheim Quiltelag had it's last meeting before summer. 103 ladies went by bus (2 hrs drive) north to Gjørv farm in Inderøy.
Today we can read about the trip in the newspapers here around

We had dinner, and got to se the farm, and our own exibition which is to be opened the 16.th of June together with a kimono-exibition in the same buliging at the farm

A lot of gardening lately

Og samme bed to dager seinere
Can you ever say "finished" when you have a garden to take care of? I don't think so. The last photo shows the flowerbed I got from DH for my birthday, before-picture to the left.
