Miss You So Much

  Hello crafty friends! 

Today I'm on The Greeting Farm blog sharing a new card I created to send to my daughter who is a freshman in college. I already miss her so much!  I used one of the adorable bunnys from the  HUNNY BUNNY stamp set.  The sentiment is from the CUTE SCRIPT set (not in stock right now but can be requested in The Farmer's Market) .  

I cut the background in a smaller rectangle with a stitched rectangular border die. I stamped the brush strokes in different colors and added the big sentiment in a brown ink.  The bunny image was colored with Copic markers and fussy cut.  I added the the background with foam adhesive to give it a little dimension. 

I matted it with a brown cardstock to give it a little edge and with foam adhesive glued it to a white stitched cardstock.   

I added some enamel dots to finish the card.

Hey You! Happy Birthday

 Hello Crafty friends

Today I'm on The Greeting Farm blog sharing a male birthday card! I have two girls so I never had a lot of opportunities to make male cards!  I love creating these!! 

For this card I combined four different stamp sets.  Ian is from Like Like You set, the little dog and sentiment if from Bow Wow Wow set, Hey you sentiment is from Cute Script set and Happy Birthday sentiment is from Miss Anya Birthday set.  

For the background I started by ink blending with Distress Ink Oxide sprays and water. Once dried I used a brick wall stencil and applied a distress Crackle paste and let it dry.  Love the crackled effect on the brick!!  I cut the panel with a stitched border and matted it with a patterned paper.  

All the images were colored with Copic markers, fussy cut and added to the background with foam adhesive.  

The Happy Birthday sentiment was stamped in black and die cut with a banner die, also added with foam adhesive.  The Hey You sentiment was directly stamped to the background in black ink. 

 

To finish I added some enamel dots with matching colors.

Sending Hugs

 Hello crafty friends! 

Today I'm on The Greeting FArm blog sharing a get well card.   I used the adorable nurse from the Anya Reboot big set and the sentiment is from Cute Script stamp set.  I think it's the perfect combination for a great get well card. 

I started by creating the background for the hearts.  I ink blended some Distress Oxides ink sprays with water and added some distress paste on a stencil.  Once dried I used this hearts die and added to a white stitched background.  I used the negative if the hearts as the mat for the white cardstock.  

The sentiment was stamped in black and cut with a circle die and matted with a pink cardstock.  

Anya was colored with Copic markers and die cut.  I added to the card with foam adhesive as well as the sentiment.  

For the final touch I added a few enamel hearts,

The Greeting Farm: Sending Hugs

 Hello cradfty friends. Who doesn't want to receive a hug?  Especially from this cute guy! 

Today I'm on The Greeting Farm blog sharing a card I created using one of the boys from the super cute set Like Like You. I combined it with the Cute Script sentiment set.  I love this sentiment set, you can combined it with any stamp set! 

The background was created by spraying Distress Oxides sprays into wet paper and drying with the heat tool.  I repeated this a few times until I was satisfied with the color blend.  I added Distress Crackle paste onto a diamond stencil to create a really cool effect.  I learned this technique on Creative Chick Distress ink classes (here).   

The sentiments were hear embossed in white.  Love how they look against the background.  

Image was colored witth Copic markers, die cut and raised with adhesive foam. Finished the card with a few enamel dots on the corner.

The Greeting Farm April Release Blog Hop

 

The APRIL 2022 RELEASE is now available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store! This month we introduced 3 new sets. Foe my card I colored these 2 from the cute set True Friend, with Copic markers as well as the background.  I cut it in a small rectangle to create a little scene.   The sentiment is from Cute Script. I added some patterned paper and kept the card pretty simple.

The Greeting Farm: April Release Preview Day 2: Cute Script

   Welcome back to THE GREETING FARM day 2 of April's Previews!!  We have 3 amazing stamps sets this month!! We will have our Blog Hop on the 15th where 1 lucky person will take home the stamps sets we feature this week!

Today we are introducing CUTE SCRIPT.  This is such an awesome sentiment set!  It can be used with any other TGF set.  

I created a couple of cards just using the sentiments.  Super easy cards to send a quick note.  

For the 1st one I cut a smaller rectangular piece of cardstock and blended some distress ink oxides. Sprayed with water to give it a cool effect. The sentiment was heat embossed in black.  I attached the panel to my card base with foam adhesive. Added some water pearl to finish card. 

For 2nd card I stenciled heart into the background, stamped the sentiment in black.  Added a framed border and some enamel dots.
