I'm So Sorry - A sympathy card

  Hello Crafty Friends

Today I'm on The Greeting Farm blog sharing a sympathy card.  Sadly my brother's family dog was sick and  passed away. I used this sweet image from the TRUE FRIEND set to create a sympathy card for the family.  The sentiment is from the DEEPEST SYMPATHY set.  I have combined these two sets before and I just think they make the perfect heartfelt card for the loss of a fur baby.

I created the main scene by stamping the images and coloring them with Copic markers.  I die cut the scene with a wavy stitched round die.

I layered different papers and stamped the sentiment on the second one.  The main scene was added with foam adhesive for some dimension. The last thing I added enamel dots on one of the corners.

With Deepest Sympathy

 Hello TGF friends!

I hope you are all enjoying this hot summer!  I'm on the The Greeting Farm blog today sharing a sympathy card using the beautiful Deepest Sympathy stamp set. The sentiments are wonderful to create any heartfelt card.

I started by cutting a piece of patterned paper for the main background.  I used a stitched border die.

I then cut white and cream cardstock with coordinating arch dies.  I ink blended the white one with Distress Ink Oxides, sprayed some water and a blue Mica Distress Oxides spray, to create a sky.

I heat embossed the sentiment in gold embossing powder.  All images were colored with Copic markers and die cut.  They were added to the background with foam adhesive and to finish I added some glitter on the images.

Thanks for stopping by!!

XOXO

There Are No Words...

 Hello Crafty Friends

Today I'm on The Greeting Farm blog sharing a sympathy card. My girls have been taking care of a neighbors dog, after school, for the past three years. Unfortunately she passed away of old age. I used this sweet image from the True Friend set to create a sympathy card for the family.  The sentiment is from the Deepest Sympathy set.  I have combined these two sets before and I just think they make the perfect heartfelt card for the loss of a fur baby.

I started by using Distress Oxide ink sprays for the background. I masked half of the card and used a frame die to cut the background and added it to a blue cardstock.

I colored the center images with my Copic markers and used a scalloped round die to make it the center focus.  I added a little butterfly to one corner and the sentiment was stamped in black.

Thanks for stopping by!

Enjoy the Summer!

I'm So Sorry... The Greeting Farm

 Hello crafty friends!

Today I'm on The Greeting Farm blog sharing a new sympathy card.  I used the beautiful Deepest Sympathy stamp set.  It's my go to stamp set for these special occasion cards, the sentiments and flowers are just beautiful.

I started by creating the background by blending several colors of Distress Oxides sprays. I used distress  heavy cardstock and sprayed it with water first and then the inks. When I had the desired colors and effect I dried it.

I heat embossed in white the flowers and butterflies.  Made the center sentiment by heat embossing the sentiment in black, I used some scalloped rectangular dies and glued with foam adhesive to give it some dimension.

I finished by matting it to a black cardstock and adding some clear drops.

Thanks for stopping by!

Deepest Sympathy

 Hello crafty Friends

Today I'm on The Greeting Farm blog sharing a sympathy card.

For this card I combined two stamps sets Animal Pots and Deepest Sympathy. For the background I ink blended Distress Oxide inks, water sprayed it and also sprayed distress mica spray to give it a little shimer.

The sentiment was heat embossed in white. I love how it pops against the teal background.  The image was colored with Copic markers and fussy cut.  I also added some prisma glitter in the petals.  I framed the background with a postage die.

Thanks for checking it out!

The Greeting Farm: There are no words

 Hello TGF friends!

Today I'm on The Greeting Farm blog sharing my latest card.  I created a sympathy card for a friend who lost her cat.  I used this little image from True Friend set and the sentiment from Deepest Sympathy. It was just the perfect card.

I started by ink blending the background with Distress Oxides inks.  I die cut the little poloroid frame 3 times to give it a little more dimension.  The image was colored with Copic markers and die cut.  On the frame I added a couple of the flowers from Deepest Sympathy set, as well as the butterfly.  The sentiment was heat embossed in white. I added a few enamels dots and framed the whole card with a white stitched frame.

Thank you for stopping by!
