In December of 2011, Shock Theatre returned to the Chattanooga, Tennessee airwaves with a new episode in which Dr. Shock, Nurse Goodbody, Dirge, and Dingbat has to deal with a zombie outbreak while they present the movie Night of the Living Dead . After Dr. Shock's X-Ray Chiller Theatre , which started in 1989 in the Ohio and Michigan areas, left the air, Dr. Shock began hosting anthology movies on VHS and DVD. One of these, Dr. Shock's Tales of Terror , came out in 2002 and features Dr. Shock hosting the short horror films Bullet for a Vampire , The Town That Loved Pizza , The Garden Tool Murders , and Demons Day . Dr. Shock, the host of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania's Scream-In , released a few records during his time on the air int eh 60's and 70's. One was a 45" single with the song Let There Be Fright (based on his catchphrase) backed with The Bloody . Listen to the two songs here:

Dr. Shock, Nurse Goodbody, Dirge, and Dingbat have have been revived in a new version of Shock Theatre , which originally aired in the 1970s with other actors playing the parts. The show premiered on October 30, 2010 in Chattanooga, Tennessee as a Halloween special on WTVC Ch 9 and thisTV.
