I finally got to see Mal's new haircut in person a few days ago, which goes to show how long we haven't seen each other!  And we really wanted to take photos together, but unfortunately didn't have a photographer (boooo!).  We did get a chance to take some instagram photos together though..we've been trying to be better about updating :)

Was feeling a bit more gothic than usual, wearing all black.  I thought the skirt made the T-shirt a little less casual, which was necessary since it was literally just a free tee shirt from the LookbookxLevis party.  The studs I added at their DIY tables probably also helped (and they were the exact color of the studs on my sandals!).

Mal and I have been on the hunt for the perfect boxy tee.  After seeing this Celine tee on a number of bloggers who styled it really well, I was hoping that it would look just as cute on me!  But it only came in one size and it did not feel very one-size-fits-all on me, probably because of my more athletic build.  I layered another tee underneath to give the illusion of looser sleeves.  I'm not sure if I'm convinced..

On a whim (that was then encouraged by Whit), I decided to chop off my hair. It was all dry, damaged and generally disgusting, so I figured I would just start fresh.  It  was not exactly planned to go this short, but so far I like it.  However, I have also yet to let it air dry, so who knows what it will look like when I let my waves do their thing.

In other news, my friends are currently taking care of a little Bichon Frisee while the owners are in Korea for a month, so I get to hang out with this little ball of fluff:

He's basically a stuffed animal.
