I left Ty at Walmart.

Ok so I didnt. But he thinks I did.

The other night he woke up crying so I went into his room. I was asking him what was wrong and through his sobs he said "Why did you leave me at walmart?" I told him he must have had a bad dream and that I didnt leave him at walmart. I wouldnt leave him at walmart...its ok, go to sleep.

Now the boy is convinced I left him at walmart. Tonight he said.. "Mom you left me at walmart but it was just an accident."

I DID NOT LEAVE YOU AT WALMART... He doesnt understand yet that it was a dream!! I know thats going to come up at the wrong time and he is going to tell someone I left him at walmart. Reminds me of when my nephew (Drea) asked his mom in church if she remembered when she broke his arm.

I-yi yi.

Christmas x2

Its been tradition for the last few years that my parents would sleep over at our house on Chrismtas Eve. But they had to work this year. Christmas and Christmas Eve. :-( (We sure did miss them!) So on Friday we went up to their house to have Christmas there. They made turkey, mashed potato's...the whole works. It was like having Christmas all over again!

After we opened all of the presents and played around with them we watched Kung Foo Panda. It was late by then so we packed up to leave, leaving Jentry behind. (she could live there and not miss us one bit)

Mom and Dad must have fooled Scott pretty good and made him think that it really was Christmas...on our way home, we passed walmart. Scott said, "Wow, thats weird...walmarts open."

Thanks mom and dad for a great Christmas x 2

Christmas 2008

Oh what a fun filled Christmas we had!!!

Every year our tradition is to go to my Grandma Haywards house and have Christmas Eve there. I love this tradition. Ty of course, hadn't taken a nap that day. So he was a terror. On our way home he fell asleep. We were hoping Chase would be able to wake his brother up and have him in a happy mood. We were wrong.

Every Christmas Eve we come home and open PJ's, read the Christmas Story out of the bible and read a fun Christmas Story (this year it was Christmas Day In The Morning.
Since Ty was just a jolly fellow we kind of had to rush through this. He was crying most the time. The girls were excited tho. They love getting new pajamas!

The girls went to bed without any fight. And the boys quickly fell asleep. Scotts mom had given us a cute Santa Key to help Santa come in since we dont have a chimney. The kids loved this.

And it worked! Santa was able to come in and leave WAY TOO MANY TOYS!!!

Which is not my fault. Scott likes to help Santa go a little overboard. But since Christmas was close to a weekend, Scott got more days off and got to see how much fun putting all of this away is! And he decided that maybe next year, Ill help Santa out more.

This is Jentrys loot

Brinleys

Tys

Chases

The Familys

Santa always leaves a letter and this year he left two. Brinley wanted a fish this year. I guess Santa couldnt put it in the bag so he left her a coupon to go pick one out. She was so excited about that.

We are still cleaning up!!!

My Ty is THREE!!!!

December 17th, Ty turned THREE!! I cant believe that as much as I cant believe Jentry is 11. Time is just flying by with these kids. Since his birthday is so close to Christmas its hard not just to jip him and say...no birthday party. There are so many parties for everyone to go to at this time of year so Im very grateful for everyone that made the effort to come share this special day with him! He loved all of the attention!!! My parents had to work so the night before we went out to Brick Oven with them. We tried to go to Chuck E Cheese, but wouldnt you know...they had a work meeting that night and closed at 6. Just our luck. So off to Brick Oven we went. They sang to Ty and brought him out some ice cream. He loved it.

Before we went we opened presents from my parents. They thought they would be funny and give him an old barbie doll to see his reaction. He opened it up and said "I dont like these!" They also got him a big Tonka truck. Which the Barbie fit in. So he was also excited about the Barbie. The next day (his real birthday) we were driving in the car and he said "Im so excited to go home and play with my Barbie and Truck!"

Thanks mom and dad.

The next morning I made him a yummy breakfast and put candles in his french toast. He blew them out once and then wanted to do it again. He got his way, of course, because it was his birthday.

That night we had a party for him. He got lots of fun toys and ate lots of ice cream

We got him a big boy race car (CARS) bed. He is IN LOVE!!! He slept the whole night in it and we havent had a problem getting him to bed one bit.

I love you My Ty! Thanks for making our life fun...and LOUD!

This is why we will only have lights on the tree this year.

We put the lights on about a week ago. And then about 2 days ago, the balls. By now the tree is only half balls...and here's why....

Yesterday I hear Ty saying to Chase... "Did you get one?" I go in there and Chase is up on the stool whacking the balls with a ruler.

Today I notice they are playing way too good with each other and its way too quiet...

Today Ty is the culprit. But hes using a present. It goes much higher then the stool!!

So...just lights this year.

December 1st 1997, 11 years ago.

I became a mom. Scott became a dad. And we became grown up's.

He was 19. I was 17.

And we had a baby.

I cant believe its been 11 years!!! But then again, this kid...shes been through it all with us. There wasnt much time in our married life that she hasnt been there. And Im so glad she has been. She is my other arm. The other mother. She helps me so much with the boys. Shes such a great sister to her sister and such a great help to our whole family. And she hardley ever complains. Sometimes I see a little glimpse of the teenage years with her and I cringe. I know shes going to give me a run for my money and one day Ill wake up and she'll be a teenager with the attitude and everything. But for now, Im enjoying her just how she is. She still tells me everything. Every morning I wake up she tells me the dreams she had that night. And Im not talking 2 minute stories. She tells me every dream in great detail. Sometimes it takes the whole time shes getting ready. One day I'll miss her telling me her dreams.

Hopefully by then, shes living them.

We had went out to dinner with my parents on Saturday night to celebrate her birthday. So I wasnt really planning on having her a party. On Sunday she asked me if she should call everyone and invite them to her party. Well.. I guess so, if we are having one.

So she called family and invited them to the party.

Then she came home from school and said she had invited Kayleah too. (her BFF)

Ok.

So we had a party.

I made cupcakes and we had icecream.

I had brought her cookies for her class that morning and balloons to her class. She went a little pink in the face...but she was excited that we had brought balloons.

When I was cleaning up from the party that night she came in and said "Thanks for the party...It was the best day of my life"

Well if thats all it takes...

I love you Jentry Anne!!

Family Christmas Party

Saturday was a fuuuuuuulll day! Not only did we have Jentrys piano recital but we also went to a family christmas party in Centerfield. We went to Scotts uncles house. He died last year on December 23rd. We had the party at his house, with his wife and Scotts dads side of the family. It was so nice to see Dian. (Kelly's wife) we dont see her often enough and I love love love talking to her. She is so genuine and nice.

Santa Claus made an appearance. I hadnt told the kids and they were super excited to see him. Ok, not so much Chase...but Ty was very excited. He tried to run up to be the first one on his lap but someone made it before him. But he was the 2nd one. But when he got up there he just told Santa that he wanted presents. He couldnt remember what else he wanted.

Then Brinley got on and of course she didnt know what she wanted either. I guess there was no TV there that she could pause and say "MOMMMMMMMMM this is what I want!" Like she does to me everyday.

Chase didnt want to sit on his lap but he would go up and give him five or go up and look at him.

Jentry also was pretty shy sitting on the big mans lap.

And then Dian sat on his lap, and she had herself a list of things she wanted. A Wii, a cell phone, an ipod...it went on and on. Shes a crack up!

After the party we stopped by the cemetary to see Uncle Kellys stone. They had just got it in and Dian wanted us to make sure we stopped to see it. And Im glad we did. Its a beautiful stone!

We had a great, full day!! And the holidays are just barely upon us. We have lots more planned!!

Looks like its buzz cut time!

Just in time for winter. Ty decided to cut a big chunk out of his hair. He had come to me earlier in the day and told me he cut his hair but I looked over and didnt see anything out of the ordinary. So I just brushed it off.

Well sure enuff...the little stinker DID CUT HIS HAIR! And right in front. How did I not notice? And as you can also tell from the picture, he cut his shirt.

So I guess Aunt Jamie will be getting out the clippers and giving him a buzz! Its a good thing he is a boy.

First Piano Recital

Jentry has her first piano recital. She has been taking piano lessons since July. She is doing so good and loves it! She is excited every week when she gets to go. I decided to wait to put her into lessons until she asked. And sure enough, the minute Maddie and Shelbey (cousins) started taking them, she asked too! Her piano teacher had an opening so in she went.

I was so proud of her!! I was watching the other girls play that were in higher levels thinking... "Wow, one day, SHE will be playing like that!!" I cant wait!!!

(Ive got video and Ill update when I have the time to upload it)

I think I can officially say it!!!

Ty is potty trained!!!

He has RARELY (like once) had an accident and that was when he was sick. I still put diapers on him in the night because Im still paranoid he will ruin my nights sleep with an accident but he wakes up dry!

It is so so nice to have only ONE in diapers!!!

GOOD JOB TY!!!

Remember I said I had cool Sister in Laws?

Well Im sayin' it again.

I have cool sister in laws.

Jentry and I both read all of the Twilight Books. She loooved them. I liked them. Ok, so I loved a few of them. The last one not as much...but still good.

Well of course, we have been waiting for the Twilight movie to come out. It comes out this Friday. We are all going to get together and have a girls night and go see Twilight.

Today Jentry came home from school with this.

Bethany had taken an invitation and flower to her school to invite her to Friday Night. I thought that was so nice of her. Jentry was so excited. Thanks Bethany!!!

Brinleyism 789,245

Today I was doing Brinleys hair for school and she was looking at her outstretched hand.
I hear her say "I have a lot of stretch marks!"
I said, "You do? Do you even know what stretch marks are?"
To which she replied "Yeah! They are these blue lines in your hands!!"

Tonight I was helping her with her homework and I numbered her page for her. I put:

1.
2.
3.
4.
5.

But I did my two the other way, with a hump.
She looked at it and said, "You really need to practice your two's!!"

Thanks Brinley.

Halloween 2008

The kids have a parade at school every year. So I took the boys down to see it. I also took the boys down that I babysat. So that was a whole load of boys to load and unload out of the car, but we made it. I can never get good pics in the school...so this is what I got.

This is the first year that Jentry has actually stopped and posed for a pic. She is usually too embarassed. Maybe Im getting cooler!!!

Then we came home, ate lunch, and Amys boys went home. My parents came over and the girls got home from school. They were ready to go T or Ting right then. So was Grandma. We had to wait a few hours and I told them once they saw other kids out trick or treating we could go. Sure enuff at around five we saw one other little group. The kids and grandma were ready to go! But first we had to get a picture of all of them together. I told them to look at me and Ty told Shaylee to look up...so this is what we got.

And then they were off!!!

(as you can see, Grandma is in the lead)

Me and mom took them up and down our street and then let Jentry and Brinley break off. We were holding them up. When we got back home Grandpa and Scott were ready to take them down the next street.

Mom and I sat on the poarch and handed out candy (ok, fruit snacks) Mom was so excited she'd run to the sidewalk to give it to the kids. I told the parents we were a drive thru service. No need to stop, just keep going.

I cant believe how nice the weather was!!! Usually the kids are ice cold when they get home and we end up with stuffy noses. But not this year. And because of daylight savings, it was light the whole time they were trick or treating. SO NICE!!!

Then we went to dinner at Sizzler and went and visited my grandma and grandpa Scott. We had a great night! Thanks mom and dad for coming and going trick or treating with us!!!
