Whirlybirfd - s/t ep (1994, Whirled)

Emblematic of numerous bands of their era, Richmond, VA's Whirlybird weren't aggro enough to earn punk points (not many anyway), but likely struck some indie scenesters as a tad high strung.  
Their penchant wasn't dissimilar to Superchunk, even if the material on this ep isn't as consequential.  An even more apropos comparison would be Zoinks!, if that name rings a bell to you.  All in all Whirlybird get us in and out in about eleven minutes, and since you're nabbing this for free you hardly have anything to lose.
