Been to busy to blog

I know how in the world can a stay at home Mom be to busy to blog you may ask? For some reason this time of year seems to take up a lot of my time yet I can not account for much of it. One Day last week (I can't remember the day) Laura and I went shopping to finish up my list. I think I pretty much wrapped it up that day! We then called trusty Corey to come wrap the gifts for me. I know that sounds lazy and like a total scrooge but this time of year has not always been the happiest time and I associate a lot of horrible times with wrapping so I just do not like to do it anymore. This weekend we pretty much just hung out around the house then on Sat went up to my parents. I wished I had taken a few pictures my big ol Daddy and my little old kids were playing Wii and I have to say "K" whooped his butt and daddy was trying his best to beat her. It was good stuff. I always love Saturday's getting to go up to my parents house and just hang out chit chat with my Mom. She is one wise lady I tell ya! Sunday we had church, I have missed all my Little Praisers children/staff. We have been gone 2 weeks 1. Mexico 2. "S" nasty virus that lasted 10 days. YEP that's right 10 days of vomit and poopys. So glad that's over. One of my good friends told me she was expecting and I am so happy for her. She has been trying for a while. Uncle Norm and Miss Lizzy were not there ha ha They were in the real Bayou! If any of my little praiser's friends read this know I LOVE YOU GUYS AND SO THANKFUL FOR YOU! We will not be there again this weekend. My BESTEST Frand's little boy is being dedicated at the Scottsboro Campus so I will be there. So we get out of church and head to the house we after all still have wrapping to do (it's still sitting by the tree not wrapped bahahaha its just clothes) Hubby and I decided to just have a lazy Sunday we laid on the couch and watch movies with the kids. We had a ball game Monday night anyone who knows me know's about my twins ha ha they are totally not mine but I love them very much and would go to the moon and back for them. We joke and say hubby and I each have a twin Mine is Corey His is Cortney. Well they are seniors this year and they both are a HUGE part of the quality of this team. We were playing one of our rivals (Sections the other one) North Sand Mountain. We were neck and neck the whole game at half we were just up by 2 I think. Well some how my twin Corey gets knocked down and she is falling with her knee being hit by one direction and another girl lands on her and hits her in the other direction Her knee looked HECK OF A HORRIBLE. She heard two loud Pops. She was down laying out on the court and Corey is just like my older sister she is tough as nails does not cry in front of people, will suck up the pain and walk off the court. HECK Laura had a broke leg and walked off the blame basketball court I will never forget that. Anyway I finally got to Corey in the locker room and asked her if she wanted me to take her home. We get her in my car get her home no sooner had we got her situated her Mom comes in said Coach said to take you to the ER that he saw it bend in ways it should not we need to rule out a break. Long story short no break Huddle house ha ha That was a fun time. Next morning PRAISE JESUS a sprain knee. She is out for at least 19 days.( BY the way they the team just fell apart after she left we lost by 16 *boooo*) Tara came to watch the kids yesterday so I could go just be Lisa for a bit and then the dreaded "GIRLY CHECK UP" ughhhh I hate being a girl sometimes. But I love my Dr. She is so soft spoken and sweet. She just makes it so much easier. Well That catches you guys up. BLAME I type a lot. HA HA I am off to make sausage balls for my sister's they requested them for tonight's festivities. I will blog about that later. MERRY CHRISTMAS YOU GUYS. I really do appreciate your blogship. :) Family (ALL OF YOU Sisters (Lori included), Brothers, and cousins) I Love each and everyone of you. You have a special place in my heart! Merry Christmas! Blessings!

Flying Home!

It was not all that bad except for the airport lines. YIKES we got there and this is what the line looked like!

It took us forever to get through that line then we had to go claim our baggage then wait to see if we were going to be searched patted down or anything at all. Not us we found our luggage loaded it up and then gave it right back to them. We then grabbed some pizza and water then to Get another T-shirt in Jimmy Buffets restaurant. Its so cute. I love the beach bum dream of lifestyle I could never live it because I don't like all that sand but ya know it was fun. We go to board the plane and the little Mexican guy says you MRS. come "who me" I say and he replies "yes". He went through my bag and I mean went through my bag. I have all things that I needed to make it through a flight in there. So if you know me you know what was in there! ha-ha :) Then he wanted me to take my shoes off and I said "Well what's next". No I did not ha ha but that's what I wanted to say I felt like a floozy in a old 1923 true Hollywood movie being strip searched. Anyway I pass through a little Mexican racial profiling thing and into the plane we go. I told my husband that he thought I was cute and wanted me to stay in Mexico and live with him forever on the beach. To that my husband replied "he would put you on the next flight out tomorrow, so I am not worried" bahahahaha Gotta love my husband he speaks truth. It was a quick easy flight it was our connecting flight that was nasty 4 hour lay over in Charlotte NC to Huntsville that was a big booger and not to mention that nasty storm that was brewing! So we started to get worried but We prayed and asked the Lord to just watch over us protect us keep us safe. We finally board the plane a little late that was the worst flight I have ever been on (only been on 7th) I could see where lightening began and the plane was jumpy. Hubby said I rubbed the first layer of skin off his hand were I was stressing. That storm was rough on the ground so you can imagine it in the air. YIKES I was so glad to get off that plane get my bags love on all of our new friends and head to the boro to love on my babies. :) Our trip like I said before was such a blessings and a much needed time for Hubby and I to just be Hubby & Lisa. God knows what we need when we needed it. Well I promise I will get back to blogging about my everyday life in the next few days. I have received an award from My blogging buddy Valerie I gotta go pick up at my her blog. Tell you about that later. I love you ladies and I hope you have a very Merry Christmas!

Day 6 and final full Day

It was pretty much more of the same we laid on the beach, we had a great time. We got rained on got in the pool. We had the best time hanging out with Rob and his wife Ebby (I think that's how you spell it I know that's how your pronounce it) We took our walks to the different RIU's. Those walks always were so ummm interesting because well you see Mexico there is no law about nudity. And while I am at it I must say there should be an age limit on going topless. The eighty year old woman laying on the beach looking like a leather belt topless was NASTY NASTY NASTY! I have never ever seen so many women young, old, skinny and huge going topless. It was NASTY! Sorry for all of you who think the human body is a beautiful thing bla bla bla, but ummm NOT THESE HUMAN BODIES! ha ha So that was our day HOWEVER that your already wet why not? night was the farewell dinner. It was a beautiful dinner on the beach with luminaries lighting our way. OH MY BEAUTIFUL! It was one of the laziest days we had while here and I guess that's why there is not much to talk about or could it be the fact that it was forever ago and I can't remember squat. Well anyway here are pictures from the day and the dinner we had that night.

It rained on us so we had to take it in doors. I was amazed at how quick they got it all in off the beach. Those of us in the Southern group all fell to the same table as we have been doing this whole trip. So its kinda like your last day at summer camp you take everyone picture so here it goes.

And that was that day, except Hubby and I went back downtown this time by ourselves. To pick our girls these purses we had fallen in love with and get the kids there t shirts and My precious husband bought me the most beautiful gift he has ever given me. Its a beautiful 2 ct ring the stone is indigenous to the Yucatan it is a deep gray almost black/blue stone and it has two bans of diamonds on either side. It is amazingly beautiful. I don't have a picture because well who can take good pictures of jewelry. It's amazing and if you see me out grab my right hand cause that's what finger it is normally on. Well I hope you enjoyed all the pictures. Our Trip was truly a blessing from the father and we knew it and know it and know without him being the Lord of our store and trust him with our business we would never have been able to go on this trip. God you are so good and I love ya and I praise ya today. AMEN

Day 5 Mexico

We woke up rather later than we have been use to for those adventures we signed up for. We ate breakfast and can I just say the french toast in this place was AMAZING. Then we stroll down to the spa where we sign in for our massages we signed up for. It was the best they hand us robes, flip flops, a key and tell us to head to the hot tub. We are in the hot tub for about 30 min and these two guys come get us and it's time for a nap. Ughhh It was heaven Hubby had never had a massage before I have but not like this it was amazing. Hubby was laying over there snoring at one point. It was wonderful.

We got done with the massage and went straight to the beach and that is where we spent our day laying on the beach with the best Hayward Rep in the world and his funny funny wife. We cut up and walked to other RIU hotels. It was cool as long as you had the RIU bracelet on you could eat there food, drink there drinks, swimming there pools. Just could not sleep in there hotel. :) We had a lot of fun.

That night our G.M from our whole southern region wanted have dinner with us a a group us southern folks. So they book us for the Brazilian restaurant. OK that was the worst food I have ever ate in my life. It was a bunch of greasy meat and that's about it. It was yuck. However Hubby and I sure did look good for that dinner here we are all dressed up.

Then it was time to crash because that was one of the longest most relaxing days of our trip yet! :) Blessings!
