Update Urgent Prayers needed!

My sister called me a little while ago very upset. It seems that the agency that hears court cases is moving offices and that court was closed Friday and today. Her caseworker was just giving her a heads up that there could be a delay. Please please please join with me and pray that this is not the case that they would open up tomorrow just in time to pass and that my sister will be able to travel next month to pick of my precious niece she needs my sister even more than Laura needs her and that is a lot. We know that the father is still in the miracle working business and know that he is going to work this all out for Laura and baby "M's" good. Thank you so much in advance for your prayers. Blessings

Very Important Post!

Anyone who reads this blog on the regular knows about My older sister's adoption. Well the time has finally come for her court date. My sister God love her is so stressed right now and all I want to do is just ask her to give me some of that so I can take some off her shoulders. So the court date is set for Tuesday in Ethiopia, she has to have all the paper work correct (her lawyer over there says she does) and "M" birth father who gave her up for adoption has to show up to court. (this is what I think worries Lou the most) We are going to find out Tuesday if we are continue on in this waiting room or if we toss my sister on a jet plane to go pick up my beautiful neice. Please pray with me that all goes well on Tuesday but most of all please pray for my sister. Please pray peace of mind, peace of heart and just wisdom in how to handle these next couple of days. Thank you so much! I promise to catch you up on all that is my family once I have the time to post Pictures hee hee :) I hope everyone is having a blessed week and remember no matter what you are going through no matter what you do Jesus loves you very much and he is there just waiting at the door for us to invite him to take control. :) I bless you all in Jesus name!

Did I really just call poison control?

Yes Yes I did. I have seriously laughed and laughed and laughed at my friend Brooks many blogs about calling Poison Control. Up untill this past Tuesday December 30th I had never ever called them. Hubby left for work at 7:45 "S" was still asleep I woke up a few min before 8:00 when I came down the stairs and into the Kitchen to get my coffee "S" was standing on the counter in the cabinet eating jelly beans. I pop his tail and send him out of the kitchen. Fast forward 2 hours later we are getting ready to head out the door to meet up with my good friend Misty when I realize the lid is off my medicine and around the same cabinet "S" was just in. I freaked because the medication I take is a pretty high dose. So I called my Hubby and he runs home from the land. Hubby called our pharmacy who told him to call poison control well poison control does not tell us what to do they just say take him directly to the hospital I am calling Highland Medical Center and the ER team will be waiting on you. We get in get a good talking to about medication safety from the nurse. Then the ER doctor comes in and tells us that since its been so long they won't pump his tummy and they are not giving him charcoal that they want us to stick around for 5 hours to monitor him. I have not felt like such a failure in a very long time. I cried and cried it was just a bad day I was so ashamed. Thank God My good friend Brooke Hill was in town visiting with her parents. I knew she had called poison control before so I called to ask her what happens next. Have I mentioned lately how much I love this woman? She knew that I would need someone to watch the older two girls. She throws clothes on her and Bry and heads to meet me at the hospital and picks up my older two kids. I did not even have to ask she was just there. She took them and they had the best time. They went back to Brooke's Mom's house played, then she took them to Mickey Dee's, then to buy bread, then to feed the ducks, then playground and back to Brooke's parents. My kids had the best time and wanted to know when they could go back. We finally were released from the hospital and told to watch him closely sometime around 3:00 pm Ughhhh SO to sum it all up. Pills were in cabinet "S" opened a child proof bottle called poison control they called hospital. We go there sit for hours for them to tell us ummm NO. Ahhhhhh this is where I have been these days watching after his goofy gets into everything tail! That boy keeps me on my toes. We are potty training I will post more about that later, so here you have it my blog I have been working on now for weeks :) Blessings

Christmas Day In Pictures!

Christmas morning is always my favorite morning to watch my kids eyes fill up with joy and excitement of that morning. On this morning it was so funny I had to wake my kids up. I guess we staid to late at my parents for Christmas Eve. I finally got them up and coming down the stairs to see what "Santa" left them. (Yes we believe in Santa Claus around here. Heck I believe and I know I am the one who put the things together. We have had the talk of Santa Claus brings you presents for Jesus birthday. Because Santa believes It's more blessed to give than to receive.) My girls come down the stairs and "M" starts screaming I got it I got it I got it it was her telescope. "B" runs over to her brand new double stroller front to back. "S" gets half way down the stairs and sees his train table and says "There it is there it is There is my Thomas there is my Thomas the train" It was kinda funny to see them on this morning. Normally "Santa" brings them loads of gifts but on this morning and every morning from now on. The Fat Man is only going to get credit for one. They were kinda looking like Oh man I messed up if I only got one. ha ha It was funny to me and the Hubby. Then we began opening gifts and again without further adieu here is Christmas morning in pictures! Please ignore "M" hair ha ha She has what our family refers to as "Nanny Hair"! Blessings everyone!
