I can not even begin the imagine the pain of having to lay one of my children to rest in a cold hard grave. I have a really good friend of mine and Bo's who one of her babies died and her and her husband had to bury him. When I heard about "Cornbread" drowning My heart just broke... Bo got really upset and said "you know that is my worst fear that I will build something that ultimatly kills one of our children". With us being in the pool building industry you would think we got safety covered right? WRONG!!!! I really began to think do we really have that pool as safe as it should be? Do I keep those locks on the gate like I should at all times even when I have to go to the bathroom when me and the girls are all out swimming and I am the only adult out there. No GUILTY!!! I keep the cover as tight as it can be. That one my husband and father in law have covered... Do I have a safety alarm on my pool gate? No How is that possible that we have had this pool this long and still do not have an alarm on it? Well I can promise this if our house does not sell before pool season you can bet your bottom dollar that it will have an alarm on it... I am going to talk with a few of our Reps and see what the best of the best is out there. My Kids, My Neices and Nephews, My Friends Kids deserve to be totally safe while at my house... I hate that a child had to die to rock these facts on home with me but I am on it now.
My heart aches for Rick and Sherry Burgess and there children... I pray that the holy spirit will just decend down like a dove on that family and I just pray they find rest in the ultimate heart healer!!! I pray that God get the glory from this horrible accident I pray that what the devil means for harm that God gets the glory in the end... My heart is heavy tonight!!!
