Just after Amazon officially revealed this year’s massive fall Prime Day event, followed by details on of the “biggest” Target Circle Week sale yet, Walmart has now officially announced its own giant fall Prime Day competitor sale simply known as, Walmart Deals.

Amazon’s massive Prime Day sale (mostly) ended early Saturday morning, but Walmart is still going strong through today with its 2025 competitor sale. Featuring thousands of deals, Walmart has some of the most notable discounts of all the major retailers this year. So good in fact that it prompted Amazon to drop the prices ever lower on select gear – the best price ever on AirPods Pro 2 and AirPods Max, for example – and you still have time to jump in as it enters the final 24 hours today. 

Walmart is now once again offering Walmart+ memberships at $49 – that’s 50% off the usual annual fee. While this deal cannot be used to extend an existing annual subscription, it is landing just in time to kick off the retailer’s massive summer sale that is set to go live on Monday with early access for members. Just when it looked like the Prime Day festivities were going to take over for the week, Walmart is set to launch a competitor sale of its own that will kick off tonight with a bang – reports suggest Switch 2 and the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle will be back in-stock! Alongside thousands of price drops across the entire official Walmart site, folks are getting an another chance to secure a Switch 2 console. 

Let’s take a look at what stores are closed and open for the 4th of July 2025. Is Walmart closed on the 4th of July? Is Costco closed on July 4? What about Target? Is Sam’s Club open today? The short answer here is that most major retail locations are indeed open for the 4th of July 2025, but there are a couple notable exceptions that are not opening brick and mortar locations for the U.S holiday today and we have all of the details on store closures and more waiting for you below.

Okay this it folks – the next major Switch 2 restock is going live today. As we have reported on previously, Walmart is scheduled to have what we have been told by inside sources is quite a substantial number of Switch 2 consoles up for grabs this evening, and we are here to do everything we can to make sure you get one. 

We just got an exciting new look at Donkey Kong Bananza and a solid console restock at Best Buy, but if you’re still looking to score yourself a console online it looks like your next chance will be tomorrow evening. Last week Walmart tipped its hat, officially announcing that both the Mario Kart World bundle and base model Switch 2 will be going back in stock on June 25, and we have all of the details for you below. 

The Amazon July Prime Day sale is just over two weeks out now, we already have the details on Target’s competitor sale, Best Buy launched its members-only event this morning, and now we know what Walmart has planned. The retailer has now officially announced its big-time July sale as the simply named Walmart Deals event is now scheduled to take flight starting on Tuesday July 8 at 12 a.m. ET. All of the details we have are awaiting down below. 

While Switch 2 consoles have been all but entirely sold out online at major retailers since launch week, Walmart has now confirmed it will have more units up for sale starting next week. Both the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle and the Switch 2 console will be live on line starting June 25, but you’ll want to head below for the exact times and some additional details. 

Nintendo Switch is finally ready to take the world by storm tonight for the long-awaited launch day, with consoles and the Mario Kart World bundle set to go live at Walmart once again, so let’s take a quick look at the availability on the official accessories while we are at it. 

Walmart has now officially confirmed with 9to5Toys that it will be offering Nintendo Switch 2 consoles both online and in-store this week. We very much expected Walmart to get in on the action, but it was all speculation up until now.

Sony officially announced this year’s Days of Play sale, including the first price drops on PlayStation 5 Pro and some notable discounted PlayStation 5 Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 bundles that deliver up to $120 in savings. The new Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 bundles are actually already live at Walmart right now ahead of the May 28 start time, with as much as $120 in savings – this includes the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition and the Disc Edition both with an included copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. These are easily some of the best values we have seen in PS5 console hardware in quite some time alongside the Astro Bot bundles that are now out of stock. 

Yesterday Amazon officially announced its upcoming Prime Spring Deal event, and Walmart has now done much of the same. Just like during Black Friday and Prime Day events, Walmart isn’t going to let Amazon have all of the fun, having now officially announced its upcoming Super Savings Week event to take on Amazon’s upcoming Big Spring Sale. Walmart is now offering the sweet Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed Deluxe Edition on Nintendo Switch down at $30. Shipping is free for Walmart+ members (free trial here). Regularly $60 and now even less than the standard edition at Amazon, this is 50% off and the lowest price we have tracked on the complete edition. It includes the main game alongside a host of extra goodies for collectors, including the SteelBook case, four pin badges made to look like the belt buckles of each Turtle, four keychains resembling the weapons of each Turtle, and a softcover art book featuring loads of imagery and insights on the characters, development process, and more – everything comes in a collector’s box too. We do not expect this deal to stick around for much longer. 

Walmart just announced its Last-Minute Gifting deals event set to kick-off today. The major retailer is giving folks one more shot at a massive selection of price drops to help cross off the rest of the names on your list, alongside some extended shipping times and details on last minute deliveries. Walmart has just released its highly anticipated 2024 Black Friday ad, offering a whopping 40 pages of incredible deals going live between November 11 and 17. From huge savings on Apple gear like iPads, AirPods, MacBooks, and more to home essentials like kitchen appliances, and apparel for the entire family with up to 70% off, there’s something for everyone. Walmart’s first wave of Black Friday deals go live on November 11 and you’ll have until November 17 to snag them. There will also be a second wave of deals starting November 25 online and in stores on November 29. If you haven’t picked up a copy of the next adventure in the remake of Final Fantasy VII yet, Walmart is offering Rebirth down at $49.94 shipped. Regularly $70, this one is still fetching full price at Best Buy and Amazon with today’s offer being the lowest price we can find right now. This one has only ever gone on sale once at Amazon for reference, and that was a brief offer at $55. You’re looking at the second entry into Square Enix’s massive ground-up remake project of the beloved and iconic Final Fantasy VII, for those unfamiliar. Cloud and the gang have finally made it out of Midgar and out into the open-world – it isn’t a 1:1 remake of the original, loaded with extra content and story details along the way, but it is a wonderful experience for those diving in for the first time or looking to make a return for something new (having said that, I highly recommend you give the original a shot some day too). 

Just after Best Buy announced and launched its Prime competitor Member Deals Days event (it is now in full swing), it was only a matter of time before Walmart surfaced with its own big summer sale. Now officially scheduled to start on July 8 and run through until Thursday, July 11, Walmart is looking to get in on the action with what it is calling “its largest deal event ever.” We will be the judge of that, but it certainly sounds promising. 

Walmart is now offering Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S down at $30. Score free in-store pickup where available or free delivery with Walmart+ (free trial). Regularly $60, this is a straight up 50% price drop, $10 below our previous mention, and the lowest price we can find. It is currently starting at over $45 on Amazon where it has never dropped below $40. For those unfamiliar, this one comes from the developers of the Dark Souls series and Elden Ring. AC6 marks a return for the long-running series as well as a new beginning in some ways. It is a departure from the dev’s more recent Soulsborne formula, but fans of the mech battle series (and games like it) will want to take a closer look, especially while it’s 50% off. There’s a particularly deep pilot and mech customization system in place, alongside a super fast-paced combat action across a series of missions set on the planet Rubicon 3. Update: The Series S toaster is now live once again at $40 via Walmart after going out of stock for a couple months. 

A new Xbox toaster has arrived. After folks trolled Microsoft way back at the launch of its current-generation consoles about the Series X looking like a fridge, the Xbox Series X mini fridge was made a reality, and now, the Series has been made into a toaster. Like an actual toaster that works and imprints your breakfast toast with the Xbox logo I mean. You can buy one right now at Walmart for $40 too. It’s rumored that Samsung is going to re-release the Galaxy Watch 4 later this year, and in the meantime we’re tracking a discount on the higher-end edition. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic now sells for $179 shipped at Walmart for the 46mm style. It’s down from the usual $380 price tag and marking an over 50% price cut. This matches the Black Friday mention from last fall, too. Walmart just announced its annual Black Friday plans today, and now it’s offering a rare chance to save on its membership subscriptions. Normally signing up for Walmart+ would run you $98, but right now you can drop the price down to $49 while taking full advantage of the membership program, Walmart’s early access discounts, and more. In what is akin to Amazon Prime, Walmart+ is the retailer’s own take on a paid shopping membership – which we break down below the fold.

Walmart today is announcing its plan for all of the upcoming Black Friday 2023 deals. Set to kick off in just a week, the retailer will begin dishing out some of the year’s most enticing discounts as part of a multi-event approach to the holiday shopping season.

As part of its Deals Holiday Kickoff event, Walmart is now offering the original Apple Watch SE for $149 shipped. This is dropping the 44mm GPS model down from its original $309 price tag in order to mark the best discount we have ever seen. It’s $50 below our previous mention, which was for the smaller 40mm style. The original Apple Watch SE arrives at the most affordable price point of a wearable sold by Apple now that supports the just-released watchOS 10 update. It delivers many of the same fitness tracking features as the more flagship end of Apple’s lineup, with an integrated heart rate sensor sitting underneath the Retina OLED display. While there isn’t a blood/oxygen sensor, you’ll still find a swim-proof design, integration with Fitness+, and everything else that users have come to love about Apple Watch. Head below for more.

It matches an offer we saw back over Prime Day that had the same bundle available. Walmart is now clearing out Apple Series 7 models for those who don’t need the latest and greatest. Dropping the GPS + Cellular 45mm Green aluminum style to $279 shipped, this is well below its original $529 going rate. Delivering $250 in savings, this is a new all-time low at well below previous mentions and also matching the same discount we saw earlier in the year on the 41mm style. This is as notable of a chance as you’ll find to lock-in some clearance pricing on quite the capable wearable.

While it’s not the all-new version, Apple Watch Series 7 still packs quite a punch for your fitness kit for far less than either of Apple’s latest. There’s a similar build centered around the brightest screen Apple makes, as well as all-day battery life backed by a fast charging mode for overnight wear. And while there’s no onboard temperature sensor like Series 8, you’ll still find onboard heart rate monitoring, the ability to keep tabs on blood oxygen levels, and even take ECGs. All with watchOS 9 at the center of the experience and some cellular connectivity thrown in.
