So things are going well with the pump and it seems to be working. So that is awesome. Just a little update since there are some things I don't want to forget. Hayden's Primary is handing out the monthly scripture to all the kids and we have been working memorize them. The one we are working on now is D&C 1:38. However when Hayden says it it takes on a whole new meaning! "What I the Lord have smokin' I have smokin". Oh, just love it. I was trying to correct it but we are still saying it the wrong way! Sure puts a few things in a different light.
Also Hayden has had some obsession with having a little sister. So when we go places or are around little and baby girls Hayden will say that they are his sisters. Sunday there was an empty car seat by our coats and he asked where the baby was. I said that I didn't know. Just then they came and he told her mom that he has a baby sister! I told her that he didn't and she asked if I was pregnant. I said no but he really wants a little sister. So we walk away and he asks me for a little sister and I told him to ask his dad, which he did! So apparently there is something to that dream I had before Hayden was born! We will have to see if we can get him a sibling.
Things are going well here. I am excited that spring is here. I really want to go and plant a ton of stuff! We have all these flower beds around our house and in the four corners of the yard. No sprinkler system for those yet so I will have to stick to my pots for now.
We have had the opportunity to see two baptisms this month. Hayden's cousin and a neat lady from our ward. Hayden asked Jared after his cousins baptism if he would baptize him. Jared said when you are 8 I will. He was okay with that. Then Saturday we went to the adult baptism and Hayden asked if this was for his baptism! It was so cute that he wanted to get baptized as he puts it "like Jesus". I guess this is what the scriptures mean to become as a little child.
Hayden goes around the house and plays while singing his favorite primary songs. I just love to hear his sweet little voice singing those special songs. One of his favorites no is My Life is a Gift. It sure brings a spirit of peace when he sings.
Speaking of singing...yesterday at work we had some pretty mad people. Later that day a drug name inspired one of the Pharmacists to sing cum-bi-ya or however you spell it and we decided that when a patient is upset we should all break out into song and sing cum-bi-ya to help calm them down. Maybe that is only funny if you were there or work in a pharmacy. It would have been great to try it out on one particular customer that was mad at the start then complained and of course said we did all these mean things to her. I wonder what she would have done if we all started singing! I really think that life is better in song anyway! If life were a musical it would be so much happier and funny and peaceful!
So I leave you with a song cum-bi-ya my Lord, cum-bi-ya.
