Amaryllis

 Just a couple of  photos today.

There are three stems, which is quite unusual.


The sun is pouring through my windows today. It's still quite cold but maybe warm enough to sort out some seeds in the greenhouse. That's my plan!

Flowers and plants.

Tulips tend to do their own arranging, and this bunch certainly did!
They make such lovely shapes.


Then I looked at them from another angle.

Here's a newcomer to my kitchen windowsill. This Amaryllis was a Christmas gift and is going to be something a bit different, I think. It grows over an inch a day, sometimes more.

This week's joy is to see my Marmande tomato seedlings looking so healthy. Their next step will be a transplant to individual pots until they are grown up enough to leave home and go in the greenhouse.


And here is a 'primrosy' corner of the garden. I soon have to decide what is going in the blank spaces, though there are already things beginning to appear. I love Spring with its beginnings.
