i bought Grundig since 1970’s and the experience has always been very positive even with the new products under the new Arcelik ownership! In Italy hard to find but products if used properly and taken care of are excellent! good timeless design, innovative and built with quality materials! the service can be a little issue but talking with the Milan office everything can be solved easily and with kindness! give it a try and stop buying chinese or korean!!! ;)

Absolutely terrible washing machine
Absolutely terrible washing machine. Electronic panel sends faulty signals all the time, causing problems with the on/off function, start button, locking mechanism, pump and water sensor, you name it. Technicians who dont address the underlying issue, but tries to get away with a temporary fix. I see others who have the same issues with their grundig washing machine online. Stay FAR AWAY from Grundig. I can't imagine this company will stay in business for much longer if they continue like this.

Had I seen the reviews before I wouldn't have bought this appliance. Couldn't find the serial number. Tried many times to register online to no avail. Despite having a receipt have now been told that they can't help so now I have no guarantee. ( odd because I understood that was standard as per UK law) Was told that I should have taken it up with Currys- Cheers--Rubbish

Absolutely shameful treatment of customers!
We've had our fridge freezer for almost 3 years, and have a 5 year warranty. Both the fridge and freezer were intermittently turning themselves on and off from 14 October. On 16 October we contacted customer services to claim under warranty. After waiting in a long queue, and explaining several times to the advisor what the issue was, they asked for our warranty reference number. I shared the number for her to then confirm that as we had registered for the warranty online, it wasn't registered in their system and I had to forward our proof of warranty to customer service. What is the point of providing the option to register the warranty online if this doesn't register on their system? Nevertheless, I forwarded our warranty registration email and then had to spell out our 29 character email address using the phonetic alphabet (because the call agent continually got it wrong) so she could locate the email. After 35 minutes on the phone, she finally confirmed that they would send an engineer out to look at the fridge on 26 October, leaving us without a working fridge freezer for over 10 days at this point. I said this was unacceptable but they couldn't offer an earlier appointment.
On 26 October, the engineer came out and confirmed there was an issue with the circuit board, but that they didn't have the part on them to replace it. We then had to wait until 9 November before they could come out to make the repair! At this point we were without a working fridge freezer for almost a month.
The engineer came out on the 9th but after that, the problem got worse. Our fridge is now at a constant 10° temperature, which is not cool enough to safely store food. The freezer is at -5°. On top of this, the fridge now makes a loud thud every 10 minutes or so that is so loud you can hear from upstairs.
We contacted customer services again and they advised they wouldn't be able to send someone out to look at the issue until 5 December. So that is at least 50 days without a working fridge or freezer, and there is no guarantee it could be fixed on the 5th December. We would likely have a further two week wait for missing parts, potentially leaving us without a fridge or freezer over the festive period.
This is totally unacceptable - absolutely pointless warranty and shocking customer service. We have lost money due to food spoiling, have had to spend more time and energy visiting the shops as we are not able to safely store food at home and are now having to buy a new fridge freezer, leaving us very out of pocket.
Will never buy from Grundig, part of the Beko family, again. We will also be staying away from Beko.

Had our washing machine less than a…
Had our washing machine less than a year, and it’s not working AGAIN, this will be the 3rd/4th engineer visit when they eventually ring back. So, the problem this time is, it won’t spin and the door light keeps flickering, it also seems to have dropped if that makes sense.
I have a busy house and I wash every single day, should have stuck with Beko 😤

Bought a GRUNDIG VitaminZone GKF3581VPS 60/40 Fridge Freezer, however within a year one of the freezer drawers has already snapped as the hook system that hold the front to the drawer is not strong enough. Also, the door magnetised rubber is not strong enough to keep it tight with the fridge frame. Expensive fad product. Despite CS service sent a replacement drawer and getting my name completely wrong, im not confident it’s going to last for a long time. Would have never bought if i knew it was a Beko decoy!

Worse appliances and customer service ever. They don’t listen you feel like your talking to a wall and at the end of it all they lie.. Told me I had 5 years guarantee and now they saying I haven’t made no sense will never buy a Grundig product again (if you look at the reviews people stop leaving reviews immediately when you get a product that’s so stupid anyway!!! wait till you have used the product a while before leaving a review because I was happy about mine when I first got my product if you look at people who make reviews when they have had actually used the product for a while you will see the difference we ain’t happy!!

I could NOT recommend Grundig ANY LESS
I moved into a new build end of July 2022. The stickers on my 5 appliances (fridge/freezer, oven, washer/dryer, hob and dishwasher), stated that I could register within 90 days of purchase to give me extended 5 year warranty.
I registered all my products (online & over the phone) in the July to September of 2022 (having moved in on the last weekend of July). Yet I only received 3 confirmation emails - 2 confirmations stating 5 years extended warranty, 1 confirmation for 2 year warranty.
Originally (back in September 2022), when I chased the other two confirmation emails, I received no reply. When I chased about the 2 year vs 5 year extended warranty (september 2022) I was fobbed off about Grundig no longer offering 5 year extended warranty from June 2022.
This is in contradiction to the FACT that I have recieved two confirmation emails for extended 5 year warranty for two of my appliances registered in July & September of 2022.
I have emailed 'Malc' at Grundig customer services about the warranty across my 5 appliances - it was a very detailed email, attaching all previous correspondence and warranty confirmations which I have received. In response, all he has emailed back is an online link to the washer/dryer, which states the product has been discontinued and has a 2 year warranty.
This is NOT IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM A SUFFICIENT RESPONSE to my very comprehensive email.
It furthermore doesn't respond to or address my inquiries about my 5 product warranties. He has completely ignored the bulk of my email, and all of the supporting documentation I have supplied him, which backs up my case and proves that Grundig are being completely unreasonable.
I have asked that my case be escalated to Grundig management. At this point I am COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED in the customer service I have received and I could not recommend this company less.
If someone at Grundig is actually reading these reviews, see my email to customerservice at support.grundig.co.uk dated 23/01/23 at 12:41:30 GMT - I have referenced and attached all previous communications with Grundig on this matter and I am chasing IN WRITING confirmation of:
- The 5 year extended warranty for ALL 5 of my appliances
- confirmation of the date when this 5 year warranty ends for all 5 of my appliances

one of them gave a big bang and stopped completely.
been in tough with the service people and they said we are coming to identify what causes the shock but you have to pay for the reaper as I run a guest house.
