Who makes up the student body?

You are the student body!
All students studying Politics and Economics or Economics Education at the University of Oldenburg form their own student body. Within these bodies, there is us – the Student Council (FSR).

We are an elected university representative body and are here to offer you advice and support on any questions or issues relating to your studies.

We represent your interests on university committees, provide study counselling, liaise directly with lecturers, oversee and organise the orientation week, and organise all sorts of fun activities alongside your studies, such as freshers’ trips, Christmas parties, cabbage-eating tours, barbecues and whatever else we can think of.

If you’re interested in the work of the FSR, you’re warmly invited to attend an FSR meeting and stand for election to the FSR in November. You can find out the dates of our next meetings via our study group on Stud.IP.
