This policy applies to the ViewPilot website, dashboard, support, and related services. The operator of ViewPilot is responsible for the personal data described here. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@viewpilot.gg.

• Account data: name, email address, workspace details, role, and authentication records.
• Channel and service data: Twitch channel identifiers, public stream details, campaign settings, service targets, and usage history.
• Analytics data: stream metrics, viewer and chatlist measurements, service performance, page visits, product interactions, browser performance, diagnostic errors, and privacy-masked session replay unless you turn off usage insights.
• Billing data: plan, invoices, wallet activity, transaction status, and payment-provider references. Complete card details are handled by the payment provider.
• Security and technical data: IP address, browser and device signals, request records, timestamps, diagnostic logs, and abuse-prevention markers.
• Communications: messages and information you send to support or submit through the platform.

We receive data directly from you, from your use of ViewPilot, from public Twitch pages and authorized Twitch interfaces, and from service providers such as payment, email, hosting, monitoring, and security partners.

• Provide accounts, campaigns, analytics, billing, support, and requested services.
• Authenticate users, protect requests, prevent abuse, and maintain platform security.
• Measure capacity, enforce plan limits, troubleshoot errors, and improve reliability.
• Process payments, maintain financial records, and comply with legal obligations.
• Send service messages and, where permitted, product updates you can opt out of.

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and securing ViewPilot, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where we specifically ask for it. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

We share only what is reasonably needed with infrastructure and hosting providers, Twitch and connected platform services, payment processors such as Stripe or Cryptomus, PostHog for product analytics and diagnostics, email providers, support and monitoring vendors, professional advisers, and authorities when legally required.

We may also transfer data as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets with appropriate protections. ViewPilot does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We keep personal data only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including account operation, security, dispute resolution, and legal or financial recordkeeping. Retention periods vary by data type. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it unless the law requires continued storage.

ViewPilot and its providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or equivalent legal mechanisms.

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect data, including access controls, request protection, encryption in transit, monitoring, and limited staff permissions. No online system is completely secure, so you should also use a strong, unique password and protect access to your email and devices.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of personal data, and to withdraw consent. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

California residents may request to know, delete, or correct covered personal information and may exercise applicable opt-out rights without discrimination. Because ViewPilot does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is currently no sale or sharing to opt out of.

ViewPilot is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided data to ViewPilot.

We may update this policy as our practices or legal obligations change. We will revise the date above and provide additional notice when a change is material.
