Now my tribute to Tasha is complete, all points are fulfilled. Time has passed, but the tasks have given me many experiences, and to join the challenge has been worth the effort. They have not been particularly great, just full of funny episodes. The farm had also a lot of goose!

Tasha Tudor; just one task left!

I had to wait until Christmas to pet a corgi. My son´s partner´s mother is the owner of Bernie, and we visited her family on December 26th. He was very happy to see me! 

This is the task number 12 on list of what I had to do to celebrate Tasha Tudor on her birthday August 28th. The previous post can be opened by searching for Tudor in the window on the right.

And the last task is:

Tasha Tudor; Snack on delectable elevenishes!

I wondered, what is an elevenish - and I had an answer from Suzanne:

This is my elevenish, a soft ice cream toped with nuts, the last one for this year! This snack bar is on my route to and back from work. I had the whole marked place almost for myself this noon. Only one more person had a rest on the stone chairs by the riverside.

For the moment I have three list points left, and i have no idea of when I can 

watch Take Peace or Take Joy! (ebay and Amazon has the DVD format),

visit a farm with goats and chickens nor

pet a corgi!

With  the tea I served what I usually eat for lunch, klibrød (bran bread with sunflower seeds).

The tea is really from China, brought home many years ago, but still fresh. This was the last remnant in the box. It tasted really good with a light and mild flavor.

In the background Sia, my cat, is sleeping in her basket noticing what's going on.

This is an old tea strainer in silver from my mother's home. 

I don't know what the design is called. Could not find a similar on Internet with a name.

The cup form China is bought at a marked in the Old Town!

Back in the kitchen's cupboard

Tasha Tudor; Enjoy a picnic with a fresh watermelon!... AND VISIT A GALLERI!

Today grey sky ... again, not the perfect weather for a picnic, but we had an invitation to Knollen Gallery and Arthouse, so we had our bikes packed and set forward.
We had to cross Glomma by ferry and pass the Old Town of Fredrikstad.

We took the rout under the guard's tower and over the drawbridge

Then we reached the completely new golf course 

with the old fortress in the background

and the sky turned a bit blue.....

we turned to the right, 

and here the signs of the exhibition welcomed us!

We rode along fields of wheat, flowers by the ditch, 

a little stream of water 

and a fancy shop selling things and stuff!

Then we reached our goal for this morning: Galleri Knollen:

Egil, the master himself, had the opening speach

Galleri Knollen is surrounded by green lawn where 

Egil's marvellous huge toys invite 

the hidden child in you to play.

His art is full of humor and joy. He use useless things 

that other people crash, 

and make them a part of an artwork. 

Here wind toys of old bicycle spokes.

One of the newest project is wondrous ladders, 

some of them decorated with birds

In the attic of the old barn his collection make us walk chuckling 

around watching his crazy art, please enjoy:

It is like to be in a fairytales among kings, queens,
princes and princesses!

And his the owner of the pea that the princess had under her
several madreasses....
