Digimon Beatbreak[edit]
Hori was a terrorist and serial killer affiliated with the mysterious organization GIFT, targeting the World Union-affiliated company Tamamori Logistics and racking up three kills before designating the Tamanori Logistics director, Kashiwagi Tamotsu as her fourth. Every time where she is about to kill one, she shows them a doll made after them.
She was first seen masquerading as a Tamamori Logistics deliverywoman sending a parcel towards Tamotsu. The parcel had a doll that looks like him. Jokermon then took the distraction to ram a Tamamori Logistics truck onto him. He survived however, but not without sustaining injuries during the attack, and was administered to the same hospital Tenma Asuka was housed at. As the case was Digimon-related, the police delivered the case to the Ministry of Civil Protection, with Kutsuwada Maki delivering the case to be dealt with by Glowing Dawn.
Hori and Jokermon followed up on Tamotsu after Tenma Tomoro had a chance meeting with Kagemori Miharu, who was somehow able to foresee the attack and advises him to leave. Jokermon then hijacks a Tamamori Logistics drone to drop a bomb on Tamotsu, only for the bomb to be intercepted by Gekkomon. Jokermon then descends upon Tomoro, Tamotsu and the guards while carrying Hori in its arms and attacks Gekkomon for interrupting the assassination attempt. It easily defeats Gekkomon as Arma Lizarmon and sarcastically dismisses Tomoro and his Digimon as weaklings. Jokermon then asked Hori to give him more e-pulse to overwhelm Arma Lizamon, which she agrees to, and it defeats Arma Lizamon easily using Gaia Magicar, devolving it back into Gekkomon. Wolvermon then appears and joins the fight, but Jokermon escapes and postpones the assassination.
Hori then enters the hospital where Tamotsu was housed in and disguises herself as a nurse to deliver a bomb-loaded package that has his doll. She rushes outside trying to rendezvous with Jokermon, but she was stopped by Gekkomon, who asks her where Jokermon is. Hori tells them that Jokermon was "making a delivery" as it plunges another Tamanori Logistics cargo truck towards the hospital trying to kill Tamotsu, although the truck was stopped by Murasamemon. Jokermon reveals that both the bombs and the truck attack were distractions and goes to deliver the real payload. Arma Lizamon and Wolvermon fight Jokermon again to stop it, but were easily defeated and incapacitated, and at this point, Kuonji Makoto finds out the real attack Jokermon is planning -- Jokermon actually teleported several bomb-loaded trucks at the underground carpark, which he plans on detonating and taking the entire hospital with him. Realizing that Asuka's life is in grave danger, Tomoro and Arma Lizamon manages to break free from Jokermon's psychic restraints with sheer willpower, and evolves Arma Lizamon into Monarch Lizamon. Monarch Lizamon chases Jokermon to a carpark, cleaves open a Mirror World to relocate both Jokermon and the cargo trucks and destroys all of them using Final Judgement. As a final stand, Jokermon tries to ambush Monarch Lizarmon only to be instantly defeated by Murasamemon.
Tomoro asks Jokermon why is it doing all of this, at which it responds with "humans have been led astray, and its our goal to guide them". It then reverted back to Mokumon and the "GIFT" logo appears on the Sapotama it dropped. Hori was arrested by the police while crying about the loss of "Jokermon-sama".

Miscellaneous[edit]
Trivia[edit]
- Hori and Jokermon are likely based on DC Comics' Harley Quinn and the Joker, respectively. Hori's relationship of absolute devotion to Jokermon mirrors that of their counterparts, as do their terrorist acts and the sadistic pleasure they derive from them. Furthermore, Hori derives her facial paint and blond pigtails from various designs used by Harley Quinn, while Jokermon shares their name and clown theme with the Joker.
- Her orchestrated bombing of the hospital might be a homage to "The Dark Knight", where its version of the Joker also orchestrated a hospital bombing. In the process, the Joker also impersonated as a nurse as Hori herself did in "GIFT".
- Hori's name is never mentioned on-screen.
