A Dragon Man Digimon that evolved via data from a mythological monster. During battle, the sentient serpent-dragons growing from its head drive the enemy away, so its main body rarely moves and often assumes an elegant stance. Even if someone is able to endure the serpent-dragons' attacks, it can deal with them easily in close combat with its fanged boots and the stinger on its tail.
It is extremely fond of small, round Digimon, and despite those it has taken an interest in likely being Babies, it will petrify them without mercy, take them home, and line them up as a collection.
Its Special Move is a kicking-blow that bites the enemy with the fangs on its boots (Biting Boot). Its "Eyes of Gorgon", in which it emits a flash from its large eye, petrifying anything the light touches, has the ability to rewrite the target's texture to stone, forcibly freezing them, and is a powerful technique that cannot be lifted unless Medusamon touches the opponent directly. Since its "Raging Serpentine", in which it unleashes its braided serpent-dragons, involves the serpent-dragons—who regain their original power after being unraveled—running rampant, it exhibits high destructive power regardless of whether it is one-against-one or one-against-many.

Digimon Liberator[edit]

Medusamon is the Partner Digimon of Owen Dreadnought.

During "MIRACLE MAKER (Part 2)", Owen suspends Medusamon to activate the Alliance effect of Medieval Dukemon, simulating the teamwork and friendship of Owen and Shoto. Owen then evolves his Medusamon to his new trump card, BT24-018 Styracomon. Alongside Owen’s War Greymon, Styracomon helps Owen defeat Xeno, with Styracomon dealing the finishing blow.
