Review: Warprinter Thirty Years War 10mm

 

Today I would like to offer my thoughts on Warprinter's figures for the early to mid 17th century  figures for Western/Central Europe, or 'The Pike and Shot' period.

Heyhey, here's sample pictures of Pendraken Miniatures' English Civil War range. Maybe you recall that the early to mid 17th century - especially in 10mm - is of special interest to me. So it came as a very nice surprise that Pendraken Miniatures asked me to paint their ECW range for their web store. 

So  here's just some samples; the full range you can find on the Pendraken web store. They're great figures, and 10mm is a very, very sensible figure size I think. And don't worry about those pikes - they neither break nor bend (easily). Great stuff, do check them out. 

Showcase: 10mm League of Augsburg

 

I painted Pendraken Miniatures' League of Augsburg range for their web store. That was quite an experience. Here's why:

.) Pendraken's LoA range is beautiful. 

.) All uniforms are based on actual regiments.
.) There is an amazing number of command figures in this range, and late 17th century commanders are just fun to paint.
