The Kingpin of Camelot by Cassandra Gannon

The story was nice, but I had my problems getting into the world building. It felt like a strange mixture of a modern and historical setting. And like with a lot of "true love" stories the instant love/attraction wasn't a good foundation for an interesting love story. I like my stories more on the "slow burn" side and here it was a bit rushed. The story itself was interesting and unique, but sadly it wasn't enough to keep my interest.

We have less scenes between Creon and Emelin, but interestingly that didn't bother me as much as I thought it would because I loved Emelins changing and developing relationships with the secondary characters, like Edored and of course Agenor. But in the end will always love Creon the most 😏
