Paul Tremblay has won the Bram Stoker, British Fantasy, the Sheridan Le Fanu, and Massachusetts Book awards and is the author of the New York Times bestselling Horror Movie, The Beast You, Are, The Pallbearers Club, Survivor Song, Growing Things, Disappearance at Devil’s Rock, A Head Full of Ghosts, and the crime novels The Little Sleep and No Sleep Till Wonderland. His novel The Cabin at the End of the World was adapted as the Universal Pictures film Knock at the Cabin. An adaptation of A Head Full of Ghosts is currently filming. His novel Dead But Dreaming of Electric Sheep is coming in June 2026.

Paul answered HorrorBookworm's question: Hello, Mr. Tremblay! I am a 13-year-old bookworm who LOVES horror. I’m thinking of writing a short story and then publishing it in a magazine (say Nightmare Magazine and that kind of stuff). Unfortunately, many people say that I won’t be able to that, and that it’s stupid and dumb. And so I’m asking you a question: Is it possible for me to publish a story anywhere, or should I just stop trying? Wanting to write is definitely not stupid and dumb. It can be hard, but it's also rewarding (even the stuff that doesn't sell). Creating art is its own reward (without any AI slop of course). I say, have at it and good luck!
