My writing history: I’ve been involved with children’s publishing for the past 11 years now — I got my start right out of high school, just after turning 18. Since then I’ve published eight books for children and young adults, with six more currently scheduled for release and in various stages of being written and edited. I’ve also contributed material to ten or so other books by other authors and have put out a short story or two.

My most recent release was the debut of my original YA sci-fi series Deviants. The first book, Vesper, was released in stores everywhere in January 2011, with the next two books coming out in Jan. 2012 and Jan. 2013, respectively.

Ravage: Cover and Summary!

All right Deviants readers, you’ve been waiting patiently and now I can finally share the cover and summary for the third book in the trilogy, RAVAGE. I gave a sneak peak last week on Twitter and Facebook, but this is the first time you’ll get to read where the story is going next. Be warned: If you haven’t read VESPER or HAVOC yet, you might want to skip the summary — it’s spoiler-tastic!

“My idea of a fun night was diving into a massive pile of To Be Read pile of books stacked near my dresser... I was the girl who loved everything geeky.”
Jeff Sampson, Vesper

“I guess I had always sort of fantasized that a guy would see me and get past the ponytail and the glasses and the giant sweatshirt to discover how insanely awesome I am, then come and whisk me off into that magical teenager fairytale where everyone else gets to prance around.”
Jeff Sampson, Vesper

“Lesson for the day, kids: hangovers are real, and they are the opposite of fun.”
Jeff Sampson, Vesper
