The holidays just got very haunted... Welcome to the Camden Inn. Famous for their beautiful snowy mountains, the world's best peppermint hot chocolate...
and oh yeah, being haunted.
Inn manager Tana thinks it's all bullshit, no matter how many bumps in the night she heard. After an awful experience with a ghost hunter, she’s sworn off ghosts and lovers. Until the day she gets snowed in with a very alluring new guest.
But what secrets is this new guy hiding?
Amon is very real. Though he isn’t a ghost, but a demon, feeding off the fear of others. And he’s been trying to scare the Inn manager since she started working there. Everything changes when he finally scares her and finds her fear is delicious , and he knows he must scare her again… And what better way than becoming a guest at the inn?
Snowed Inn (With a Demon) is a 30k novella featuring a socially awkward demon and a fiesty inn manager. You can expect high heat, fast pace, and an adorable cat. This story is standalone and does not have any cliffhangers. HEA guaranteed!

i'm adding this to my soft and awkward demon boi pile 🤍
this was a short novel about a sweet demon trapped in the Inn and the Inn manager 🤭 it's short but really cute. some of the things happened fast and everything works out for them but i loved that this made me feel good 😌
i highly recommend reading this🤩
If she asked him to destroy the world and remake it in her image, he would.
fluffy demon boi with social anxiety falls in love with a feisty curvy bi queen. what else can i say? oh and there is a soft fluffy princess cat who is obsessed with the mmc. it’s obviously 5 freaking stars.
Short, fluffy, kinda bland. Not super developed/surface characters.
The concept is better than the result. Maybe if it was longer and any part of it was more developed....
As is, meh.
Amon is a demon, except demon is a paranormal species- not a religious/pits of hell thing. Again, more developed it could have been funny to read about him "haunting" the inn(the snippets of it were).
Tana runs the inn, goes to school online, has a bunch of half assed crafting hobbies. Kind of boring as a character.
They don't banter or flirt. Have to be told they're fated mates by the convenient witch friend. They're booooooorrrrrrrriiiiiiinnnnnngggg.
And because they're tepid bathwater the dirty bits are also meh. Room temperature. Describe all the oral ya want, you can't manufacture chemistry in the moment by declaring it's there.
Solid concept. Half still frozen microwaved hot pocket result.
Rated 4.5 ⭐️ because it was absolutely a great time!
Well this was a pleasant surprise and definitely a good time! Gimme a demon hero that imprints, feeds off the fear of others and can smell his mate’s well, you know😉—I am ALWAYS in!
Meet Amon. He’s a demon that’s been trapped in this inn by a witch for years. He scares the guests and feeds off their fear. One day a woman named Tana starts managing the inn and he is instantly besotted with her. Her scent is unlike any other especially when she gets scared.
One day he decides to use glamour and make himself human, checks into the inn and starts spending time with Tana. Everyone gets snowed in, the roads are blocked. Is this fate? YES!
Throw an ambidextrous tail in there and knotting 🪢 and you’ve got quite the delicious spicy concoction. Plus Amon makes me melt everytime he calls her “snow bunny.”
There’s a particular scene that I especially liked that involves a chase scene and a romp in the woods 😮💨. A good chase scene where that primal dominance kicks in always gets me good.
Bottom line—this was 124 pages of the absolute best time reading by my Christmas tree and squirming in my seat.
Happy reading! Don’t forget to click the extra bonus short—Christmas in Noel. Yummy!
🎄Overall Thoughts🎄 I've been in the mood for another holiday romance, this time the monstrous kind! Tana is an inn manager and Amon is a fear demon trapped to haunt it. Tana ignores his scare tactics and Amon is determined to scare her. After finally tasting her fear, he decides to pose as a guest in order to interact with her more. I loved the concept of this novella! But the romance didn't click for me. I didn't feel any chemistry between the leads and then boom fated mates. I couldn't deal with the "snow bunny" nickname. In black culture, it means a white woman who only dates black men in a real fetishized way and to hear it as a cute nickname made me giggle and cringe.
Perfect lil book to kickstart the holiday season reads 🩷 Amon is SO CUTE I love a tall af demon who’s nervous around his crush 😭🩷 but he still do a protec!!!!
I can relate to Tana with her customer service voice lmao she’s a great fmc, mature and not overthinking things and dtf a sexy red mountain of a demon. no complaints xoxo
I got this as an ARC. It was a quick - cute read. Easy on the spice. Lots of build up and tension though. Has a good feel around it and was def a book to enjoy for the holiday season. Not my usual read but still made me smile
Not getting into this. Idk why, but I’m just not interested. Not going to rate since I’m not sure if it is because i am not in the mood or if it is the story.
***I received an ARC copy of this book from the author in exchange for my honesty review and opinion***
Tana is our FMC. She is the assistant manager at an inn, an online student, and likes to knit in her free time. She also has mommy issues?
Amon is our awkward sweetie of a demon love MMC, who’s isn’t much of a demon in the biblical sense. More of a house ghost (I know Amon hates being referred to a that, but it’s true babe) he’s trapped at the inn due to a witches curse set upon him.
Though Amon had his cute awkward moments both of the main characters were very dry and not well developed. I think that there was too much time focused on side characters and our MC’s tedious tasks to give them (and the story) the proper development they needed.
The premise was great but the follow through wasn’t there. This includes the chemistry between our MCs. There was no tension, no banter, no chemistry. I felt like I was being told that it was there rather than being shown or feeling it. The smut was very a very lukewarm 1-1.5🌶️
Overall, I think that this could have been a very good novel if we had better developed characters and story line, there were more pages to develop the story, and/or if there weren’t so many grammatical errors.
There’s just not enough time or space for this book to be a well developed love story within 124 pages.
I did originally DNF’d at 38% because it was dryer then my grandmas turkey on thanksgiving; however, I did go back and force myself the rest of the way through it.
I do believe that this was a debut novel from this author so I am holding out hope for their future books♥️
Based on “demon” in the title I expected some darkness or craziness in this novella. However, that wasn’t true at all! This book was sweet and romantic. Amon isn’t your average chaos causing dark demon. He’s sweet and loves and doesn’t actually want to hurt anyone.
This was a fluffy sweet cinnamon roll demon Christmas story.
It’s set in an adorable, quirky inn with some paranormal history that turns out to be Amon, the loveable fear eating demon just trying to survive!
An attraction for ghost hunters, Tana, the manager gets snowed inn and Amon, desperate to know more about Tana, makes himself into a ‘guest’ and they have an instant attraction.
I think the story was cute and Christmassy, I thought some elements didn’t work as well as I’d hoped though and at times the writing felt a little blunt and didn’t flow as well as it could.
The ghost hunters seemed a bit random and didn’t really develop into much, which I thought was a missed opportunity. I assumed that Tana and Amon would have been alone together and snowed in but there were quite a few others there. I get that that was sort of a catalyst to get Tana and Amon together but it didn’t seem quite developed enough. There were some interesting side characters but they seemed implanted at times.
I was also a bit unsure about the whole parents situation, it did become clearer but I wasn’t sure what the big deal was there and then it kinda fizzled out anyway.
That being said, I enjoyed the romance and they have plenty of spicy scenes together, if anything I think that’s could have been more intense!
I liked the resolution and overall thought it was a good quick read. Definitely check it out if you like a fluffier demon.
I enjoyed this novella. Amon and Tana we’re such a sweet couple. This book is sweet and spicy and such a fun read!
Tana was the manager of an inn. She loves her job, and she relished in the freedom of what she could do. She loved crafting, sculpting, and anything artistic. The inn she works at is supposedly haunted, but she herself has never had any encounters. When ghost hunters arrive in the snow covered town a real Demons finally comes out to play. Amon is a demon who has been hexed by a witch to never be able to leave the inn. A Demon of fear he gains energy frightening others. Fascinated by Tana, and unable to actually frighten her he poses as a human vacation at the end. Together they feel a pool to one another that is unexplained. That is until Tanas friend Bea solves the dilemma. From there, this faded match signs there happily ever after.
Picture this: 3 a.m., no sleep in sight, and a random novella promises a warm, fluffy distraction. Expectations? Rock bottom. Outcome? An unexpectedly cute demon-human cuddle-fest that kept me wide awake until the end.
This story is simple, sweet, and superficial. A demon trapped in an inn and an innkeeper who takes the whole “there’s a demon in my building” thing better than most of us handle a coffee shortage. It’s short, quirky, and brimming with wholesome fluff.
No real twists, no deep character arcs, no epic stakes—just a cosy little bubble of demon-induced cheer. Perfect for when you want to feel something light and adorable without overloading your brain. Don’t expect fireworks, but if you’re fine with a little puff of warm, snowy vibes, and a demon to fall for, this novella has you covered.
Bonus points for being just the right level of cute to make you smile at 3 a.m., even if sleep remains stubbornly out of reach. 🖤
*I received a copy of this book as an ARC reader.* Here is my honest review: Amon is a cinnamon roll of a demon, who feeds off fear. Tana is a manager at an Inn, and is kind of a mess of a person. They're are brought together because of the Inn. The premise of the story is pretty good, but the development of it lacks. The characters feel very one dimensional, the spice is meh, and the chemistry isn't really there between the love interests. There were grammatical errors, punctuation errors, and a few errors that confused the situation. It was a fine attempt for a first time author. E.L. Eldridge has amazing ideas, and with practice, I'm sure she will be able to transfer those ideas to paper.
Tana was a logical girl to a fault; basically impossible to scare with noises. Amon was an interesting mix of apathetic and intrigued. He was drawn to Tana; especially her scent. The romance burned hot and fast and was low stakes. Tana has an unfortunately common dynamic with her parents - on of constant criticism. She was capable of handling her problems, but Amon was a nice soft place to land.
Short, cute, light read. There were several helpings of spice. Love setting those healthy boundaries with family. HEA. Not much depth and some stuff felt very... convenient (and I'm not talking about the snow). Would recommend if it interests you. Also - check out the other cover! It's not on Goodreads for some reason but the cover on Amazon is illustrated and really cute.
It's a cute, short winter read and I loved the concept and the main characters too.
Sadly because it's so short the plot didn't get fleshed out as much as I would have liked and conversations felt a bit info-dumpy with no real conflict (everyone just accepts the first solution with no arguments).
Overall I had fun with it but couldn't rate it any more than three stars.
