They took everything from me. Time to return the favor.
A few months ago, I was just a regular nineteen-year-old girl. Now I'm trapped at a remote college and held at the mercy of three savage bullies. No one can see through the Serpents' Adonis-like disguises. Except me. I've never felt this alone before. This terrified. This...furious. These three murderers stole everything from me. They think the humiliation, the degradation, the suffering they've put me through has left me broken? Guess again, Serpents. You might be stronger than me. You might be untouchable. But you took everything from me, so now I have nothing left to lose. This game of yours? I'm playing to win. I know exactly how to make you grovel at my feet. But I won't forgive you. I will break all three of you. Starting with your black hearts.
Savages is a DARK reverse harem college bully romance with mature content some may find triggering. Reader discretion is advised.
The following ratings are out of 5: Romance: 💋💋💋💋 Heat/Steam: 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵 Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙📔 World building: 🌎🌍🌏🌎🌍 Character development: 👱🏻♀️🧔🏻👩🏻
The heroine:Nim - she came to Cinderhart with her parents last summer so they could attend their college reunion. They died that night and Nim has returned to attend Cinderhart academy, then prestigious college where her parents met. The day her parents died, she saw the serpents kill a man. Now they are out to get her.
The Hero(es):Silas, Knox and Mason - the Serpents of Cinderhart Academy are seniors and kings of the school. After Nim went to the cops to tell what she had seen them do, they got a tip from a source and were able to get her and her statement and now they own her. They have used and abused her and are not done with her yet.
The Story: When the guys see others mistreating Nim they become not only her captors but also her protectors. They want to figure out the anomaly which is Nim. Why is she at Cinderhart Academy when only people who live in town are allowed to attend? Who sponsored her and paid her tuition and why is there no record of it?
Nim can’t figure out what is going on when the serpents go from treating her like a slave to helping her with her homework and teaching her to ride a horse. The guys are also a bit clueless as to why they are changing but all they know is that they can treat Nim however they want but when others try to treat her bad or hurt her, they are compelled to protect her.
Though some of the things in this book still disturb me like the first book. The guys humiliate Nim on more than one occasion and I just can’t get over them slapping her. The dubious consent doesn’t seem to bother me as much because she ends up enjoying what they are doing to her and it isn’t just her body reacting, it is her really wanting it. But when they slap her that is just a strong guy hitting a weaker girl for no reason and I hate everything about that.
Though Nim has plans of her own and they are all about taking the serpents down for everything they have done and everything they are doing to her. However, when she has a chance to leave the school she doesn’t take it. So many things leave questions as to what is really going on in this town and at this school. I can’t wait to read the next book.
I voluntarily read & reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts & opinions are my own.
Don't jump into the Serpents of Cinderhart Academy series expecting swoon worthy heroes of any kind. In fact, don't expect much romance either. You won't find any! Frankly, I don't have any idea how the author is even going to redeem the "heroes" at all at this point.
There is one thing I know for sure though. I'm going to keep reading to find out! No matter how fucked up things get, how much disrespect and abuse the heroine is subjected to, or how much I want to rip the "heroes" dicks off and shove them down their throats while simultaneously lighting them on fire, I just can't stop reading! I devoured the only two books available for purchase in one night. It's like some kind of witchcraft, y'all!
I would give this 4 or 5 stars if it was just smut. I only read Savages because I thought we would get to the bottom of the heroine's mysterious entrance to the ultra exclusive Cinderhart Academy and who is behind the supposed accidental deaths of her parents. As it is, we've got, again, some explicit smut with dirty talk/public degrading acts of punishment, sexual or otherwise, that is like Trent Evans, interspersed with very boring, boring, boring... detective work. And still we are being teased but *no* F/M/M/M action.
Higher score if more smut or at the very least, revealed the mystery and went on from there. Not going to finish the series, as the high school academy doesn't do much for me, and I have to be honest, I really have no idea what happened outside of finding out one of the boys has a daddy kink and the other boy from the other side of the tracks is dealing with family stuff. But I will read more by Logan Fox.
*I received an advanced reader copy in exchange for an honest review.*
This started out extremely hot. The boys are just as messed up regarding Nim as ever, although their backgrounds are becoming clearer. Mason has less of a back story, but his characterization and jealousies were constructed well- perhapsbetter than Silas or Knox. Silas was a lot more present in this book, since the last one mostly focused on Knox these were welcome changes. I thought this book built the boys a lot better than Serpents.
Everything they do to Nim requires massive trigger warnings. You must be a fan of the dark and gritty bully romance dub con/non con to enjoy this. Not for the casual reader who enjoys a mild alphahole. These guys are messed up. Not Diesel, Den of Vipers level, bit definitely not right. Fans of this genre will love it. I certainly did.
The bits with Silas' family were a bit meh to me. I get they were humanizing him, but something about it didn't work for me. The timing and pacing didn't meh. Knox was very hot and cold bit in a pacing that didn't quite hit it either. I like the hot and cold usually and almost thought it was there but the storm scene's timing was where I felt the pacing needed work. Also hearing about Amy while touching Nim was odd, even for Knox. But that almost made it work, because it was just wrong and that's very Serpents.
Overall, I think this was a hit and I'm not sure how I'll be able to wait until November for the third!
Savages doesnt let up with the power play game that Nim had with The Serpents - Knox, Silas and Mason from the first book. All the guys take the word Alpha***** to another level using Nim's lust and attraction for them against her but in this book more so than the first one it felt like Nim was breaking down the barriers with them. Saying that some of what they put her through in this book i really wanted to punch the three of them for and im holding out for her to get some major payback from each of them. Still this series shows no sign of letting up on the tension and the plot twists. That ending was just killer and Ill be on tenterhooks until the next book now. This one was so good
Was super excited to read this since I finished the first book a month ago - but nothing happened much in terms of plot in my opinion. I was on tenterhooks the whole time, ANTICIPATING THINGS, and all in all the story moved along at a sluggish pace. Torture for the sake of torture, humiliation just because, etc. Tad bit disappointed because I had really high expectations after the first book !!!
This is where Stockholm Syndrome starts to kick in. We lose our somehow strongish MC and are greeted with spineless slave. After situation with Mason and the team and then with spanking, not to mention face slapping...I am done. I already spoiled myself everything and I am greatly disappointed by how plottless this story is. Obviously I expected her to be someone else's child, someone big. But the fact that it is the only mystery hanging over our heads is not worth it. There is no love story, only humiliation. First book was good, the world seemed interesting and I wanted it to be peeled piece by piece until I realized that this book is about dubcon not about a rocking mystery...it had so much potential in the first chapters of book 1. No more.
OH MY LAWDDDDDD!!! These Serpents have me all kinds of fucked up!
I thought they were bad the first time around…well, Logan doesn’t back down; hell she doubles down on their assholery!!! These Savages have my palms sweating, heart racing, and knickers all kinds of twisted. They are insanely dark and delicious…but I still want to punch them in the nuts!
Nim, Nim, Nim. Oh girl, what have you landed yourself into. I cringe for her and hope that what ever plan she’s got going (if she even has one) kicks in at some point. Because it’s time for her to tame these aholes!
The secrets and lies of this shady town have my mind reeling and I know we are still in for a hell of a ride. Logan has taken depravity to another level and I AM HERE FOR IT!!
Serpents, Savages…these men take the cake and probably the frosting and the cherries on top!! Gimme book 3!
"This book is for mature readers only as it contains scenes some may find triggering."
This book has smut, mystery, and darkness. Plus, my full attention. I will read the next book. Unfortunately, I have to wait for it to be released. Luckily, the release date is the end of the month.
As I mentioned with the last book, don’t expect light and fluffy with this story. 🔥 bullying & taunting with degradation 🔥 dubcon 🔥 semi-public coercive sexcapades 🔥 mystery and suspense 🎉 some secrets are revealed 🔥 cliffhanger ending
Knox, Mason, and Silas are near irredeemably characters in this installment. They up their level of humiliation for poor Nim Winters. But what I found interesting is the guys do like her but they never tell her. They feel they have to keep her at arms length. And ultimately Nim realizes that while her body reacts to their touch she’s still a pawn for them to use and abuse.
The Serpents grew in me this book. Although I’m still on the fence on whether or not I actually like them, I am finding them more endearing. Knox’s family made him into a monster. They also crafted him into the man that knows how to cherish a woman. His dollification of Nim makes sense once you realize he has sisters who he takes of like his daughters. Silas is another product of his upbringing. He’s learned how to harden his soul. He despises his past and will do anything to enhance his future. Even to the detriment of this around him at times. But Mason and his daddy ways are what make me swoon. He may be a dick to Nim sometimes but he’s the one that I found myself needing more from at every turn. He’s the one who will eventually make me like the group, so don’t break my heart and make him change. Please Logan don’t do it next book.
Many of the events from last book are expanded on in this iteration but there is still an air of mystery that surrounds the action of the Serpents. We may see family connections that were previously disguised but you can tell there’s till more. I’m looking forward to reading book 3, Snake, and finding out if my assumptions are correct.
Blurb: They took everything from me. Time to return the favor.

CREATIVE DARK & CRUEL!👍👍👍👍👍 Intimidating hardcore excitement. My head is spinning trying to process the creative and demeaning cruelty this brilliant story takes with every cruel twisted exciting page that kept me bound with a needy determination to feast on every vile twisted page that hits hard on my emotions getting me excited with lusty thrills and gaping in shock caught off guard feeling the darkness cringing with fear and frustrated dropping F-bombs from one intense page to the next. If you like riding the edge than this is definitely the right series to make your love of bullies that live eat and breathe on the dark side a savage reality an one helll of a mistake if you don't start reading this today. Call me crazy or insane but I Love this Cruel Twisted series that makes all of my lifetime of nightmares seem as if they didn't get the memo that they were nothing but PG straight vanilla fairytales. Thank you Logan Fox for this amazing series that has me crazy with need for more of your dark cruel beautiful words.
This is the second book in this series and it picks up where book one ended. The cliffhanger of book one had me dying to know more about what would happen next. The guys have Nim and are pretty much holding her captive at the academy, she knows too much, seen too much, and her true identity is still a mystery. When insults and mean girls take things too far the guys decide not only will they be the only ones to make Nim’s life hell but they will also be the ones to protect her against the others at Academy. Each guy is appointed to follow Nim everyday while Nim is still fuming for how degrading they are to her, she has moments of attraction, and sees redeeming qualities in them. Nim doesn’t want to be attracted to the guys, yet she can’t help the way her own body betrays her at their hands, but can she eventually escape their clutches and leave for good or is she doomed to be theirs permanently? I liked that we got to see more into the guys individually and together, yet there was something about Mason that Nim couldn’t shake. She was attracted reluctantly to each of them but Mason and her seemed to connect on a different level. It will be interesting to see what else happens especially since Mason shows a lot more interest in her than the others. Not going to lie but the guys made me furious at times because of how degrading they treated her especially in front of other peers, it was humiliating and gave the jerks ideas that they could treat her the same as the guys did. I wanted Nim to fight back so bad and get revenge that at times I couldn’t really enjoy the smexy times because they were just so cruel. I honestly enjoy the suspenseful storyline but didn’t like how they put her on display to their peers, it just took me away from seeing them as humans with feelings because it was so cruel. They all had their own personal issues and yet even as Nim is degraded I still felt like she didn’t fight hard enough at times and even when she thinks she wins a battle against them she doesn’t really just loses a little more of her dignity. I think it takes talent for an author to make readers feel with such emotion and this one did that to me. Repeatedly. This book is dark, has loads of triggers, but if you can get behind that its an intriguing book that has you on the edge the entire time waiting to see if Nim gets away or if the guys figure out she isn’t their enemy.
Before I start - if you are a sensitive reader, please read the trigger warnings at the beginning of this book and tread carefully. This is NOT a standalone, Serpents should be read first to fully understand what is going on. Logan is an evil genius with this storyline, as she continues to push boundaries and shatter boxes with this dark and suspenseful tale. This is definitely no rainbows and butterflies type of romance - this is one that is brutally venom filled and buried deep with secrets and lies. I devoured this in one day and then had to let all the info and clues sink in before I could sit down and write my review. Picking up right after where Serpents left off, I was thrust back into the dark world of Cinderhart Academy. Nim held captive at the mercy of Knox, Silas, and Mason - paying a brutal price for witnessing something she never should have. The guys are relentlessly cruel and oh so cold with their mission of breaking this poor young woman with their punishments of pain and humiliation, all the while digging deeper and bringing more attention upon themselves than they realize when they start asking questions about Nim. I loved seeing how some cracks and vulnerabilities were shown with the group of cold and (seemingly) unfeeling Serpents of Cinderhart, along with them being drawn to Nim. Being torn between wanting to punish her and worship her, I saw the lines that they had drawn slowly starting to bend. Nim continues to be strong, even with all the torturing, trying to bide her time and answer questions that have been plaguing her. As she continues to pick away at the walls these guys built, I still question whether or not she will survive, what the guys will uncover as they dig deeper and deeper into the past, and what will happen to all of them when all the truths they are searching for comes to the bloody surface. I adore how Logan is continues to slowly unravel this plot and peeling back the layers of each character. She has me fully invested with this storyline as she continues to blow my mind with the surprises and breadcrumbs of clues. The plot is packed with suspense, the steam is off the charts and I love the multiple POV's that allow me to see the thoughts of each character. I am left begging for the next book as I'm dying to find out the answers to all my questions and see if a few of my hunches are correct.
“Tell me how much you want this.” “I want it bad, Daddy,” she whispers, bucking her hips up.
The Serpents of Cinderhart Academy series includes Serpents, Savages and Snake by Logan Fox. I love a good dark bully romance, which filled all my needs, plus it had a twist; it's a reverse harem. Logan Fox is a new author to me, but I will be reading more books from her. Page after page book after book, I devoured this series in two days.
“You had the entire weekend to complete your project, but instead you went into town and got up to mischief. Schoolwork comes first. Do I make myself clear?”
Nim Winters returns to Cinderhart with her parents, attending a college reunion. To get some fresh air, she wanders into the woods and witnesses three men doing something horrific, seen and caught by these three men she or tortured and branded by them. She is scared for her life and begs and pleads that she will never tell anyone and promises never to return. A tragic accident happens that night that kills Nim's parents. Several months later, Nim receives a phone call to accept her into Cinderhart Academy under an anonymous donor. Things are starting to look better for Nim only on her first day of college; she runs into the three horrible men from Mason, Knox, and Silas. She finds out they are known as the Serpents, and they run the school. Now that they know she has returned and attends their school, they make it their mission to ruin her life and terrorize her in any and every way possible. Taking blow after blow from the Serpents, she also makes it her mission to find out who her mystery donor is; this is also something the Serpents are desperate to find out. Almost ready to give up, Nim pulls herself together, realizes she has nothing to lose and is prepared to fight back.
"What I do feel is a deep and primal need to be filled. To be owned. By any of them. By all of them."
The Serpents of Cinderhart Academy series was filled with mystery and plenty of twists and turns. Please check the trigger warnings because it is a dark bully romance, but if that's something you can handle, go in blind. This ends on a cliffhanger!
This book continues where Serpents finished, with Nim being held as prisoner/pet to Knox, Mason and Silas, The Serpents. This plot continues with the boys trying to establish who is sponsoring Nim's education and why. Although they treat Nim as a plaything and humiliate her frequently, it becomes obvious that they do not appreciate anyone else treating her badly. The story and worldbuilding draw the reader into the dark twisted world that is Cinderhart, a place steeped in secrets and perhaps a dark past. Our characters continue to develop as each one spends time with Nim. There is still so much hidden within the narrative in this book and Logan Fox skilfully leaves crumbs for the reader to clutch to in the hope of solving the mystery.
As always Logan succeeds in creating a dark mysterious world within what appears to be an idealic Academy and township. There is a dark eroticism woven into the fabric of the storyline as the relationship between Nim and boys develops. Exciting reading of a tale that will reach it's conclusion in Snake.
I voluntarily received an ARC of this book and all views and opinions are my own.
When the story picks up, we find Nim living in the boy’s dorm, now the property of the Serpents. But things aren’t exactly as they appear. Given the forced, close proximity, the line between captors and captive appears to be shifting.
I enjoyed Nim’s steadfast determination to gain the upper hand on her tormentors, in spite of the ongoing public hazing and humiliating punishments. The mystery surrounding Nim’s admission to Cinderhart Academy remains despite the Serpents best efforts to uncover it. So, when a tidbit is eventually revealed, I couldn’t have been more surprised, which then led me to several subsequent suspicions. I’m very much looking forward to Snake, for the conclusion of this twisty tale!
This is a well written, dark and intense RH college bully romance with intriguing and conflicted characters. There’s plenty of drama, anguish, emotion, suspense and mystery along with several explicit MF encounters, but no ménage scenes.
I received an Advance Reader Copy of this book from the author, and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.
I voluntarily read and reviewed this as an ARC Still the biggest, baddest bullies at the Academy, we finally get a glimpse at who Silas, Mason and Knox are. Although not complete monsters, they still scare the bejesus out of me. We get a few answers about questions from the first book but even more intriguing questions arise from this installment. Exactly who IS Nim Winters and how does she play into this twisted, spine-chilling community? The strength of her resolve is mind boggling as she deals with everything the Serpents throw at her. There's something huge blowing in the wind, though, and I'm wondering if this will finally set her free or completely destroy her. Logan Fox has me firmly hooked with this amazing series. I'm totally winded from experiencing every emotion a human can feel. Far warning...this is absolutely a dark bully romance so be sure you can deal before you buy but if you hang tough these characters will work into your soul and you'll become as invested as myself.
Savages by Logan Fox was delectably dark, as well as crazy! We are taken on another wild ride with these intense characters.
It is honestly a love hate relationship with the Serpents. This book definitely showed more to their characters than the first book did, however Mason, Silas, and Knox are still snakes, especially to Nim. Nim is still somewhat sassy. She is still trying to put up a good fight against the Serpents but it isn’t all in her favor.
The steam factor is still there and growing! Boy oh boy do these guys make some steamy scenes play out. This crazy journey takes you on a ride of secrets, lies, and just all over mystery.
I definitely enjoyed the first book, Serpents and I definitely enjoyed this book, Savages! I am craving for more and to know what is gonna come. Knowing Logan Fox, I am probably not ready and will not expect anything that is planned for these characters!
Nim and the serpents are back (Knox, Silas and Mason) as secrets threaten to come to light, the serpants are coming to terms with how Nim makes them feel, they need to keep her captive till they learn or about her but they refuse to let others treat her badly becoming her protectors as well as captors. whilst Nim has only one thing on her mind is to escape their clutches. No matter how her body reacts to them at times. Well written devilishly dark and twisting read, your kept on the edge your seat craving more! The characters jump to life with their own unique personalities that draw you in and hold your attention through out.
4 1/2 ⭐️ This is once again a very dark and twisted tale of the serpents (Mason, Silas and Knox) and their captive Nim. Nim is living in their rooms and solely under their thumb and if she doesn’t comply well punishment isn’t always private… but she’s trying not to break as she’s pushed to her limit. The chemistry is off the charts and the steam is hawt. This book most definitely concentrated more on the relationships and development of the characters than moving things forward. This is rated slightly less than the first as I feel it needs to move forward more there’s still sooo many questions that need answers. I really love the dark depravity of this series but the suspense is driving me crazy I need to know more!
Wow! I'm not even sure how I feel about this! I still have so many questions. Some were answered from book one, but now I have so many more. Even with all the questions, it was still so so good!
As much as Nim is trying to fight Knox, Mason, and Silas, she's also starting to break down her barriers a little with them. All three of these guys are starting to have some weaknesses when it comes to Nim. And as the book goes on, I'm finding myself feeling for them. We get a little bit more of their background in this one which was nice.
Who Knox's mom was a surprise and has me looking forward to what is in store for us in the next book!
This book took place right after the first and I was not disappointed. I just had to know what was going to happen after that explosive ending.
While not a ton happened plot/mystery wise, there were a lot of developments within the relationships as well as getting to know the boys more. We were able to see a glimpse into some of their pasts, their struggles, their heartbreaks and we were able to start humanizing them a bit more.
Logan Fox had us delving deeper into this not so cheery town with all its secrets. How does the past play into what is happening now? What did happen? Who are the key players? So many questions.
The last few chapters had a few reveals, steps forward and questions so I’m looking forward to seeing how it all plays out in the next book.
This one is so dark, twisted and amazingly good. Nim is deep in trouble with the Serpents and they do make sure that she knows who owns her and that she is playing by their rules. Or is she? Well Silas, Mason and Knox tries to break her down even if she fights back.
This is the second book of the Serpents of Cinderhart Academy and wow what a rush and yes it ended in an cliffhanger that made me want even more. The twists and turns will keep me coming back for more.
Nothing happens in this book, the guys keeps humiliating Nim for no real reason at all, just for the sake of it, I don't like when the H humiliates the h so publicly like Mason with the football team and then the spanking in front of the other guys, I find it something quite unforgivable. There's nothing about the guys that makes me want for them to get together with Nim, at this point I just want her to get her revenge and leave the town. Also why they just don't tell her the reason for killing the guy in the woods, is just a weak strategy keep secrets like that. I'm tired of authors always making the heroines weak, for once I would like for them to go on a hunger strike, not respond to the guys when they touch her, just show some backbone. I'll read the next book because I want to know what Nim is doing in Cinderhart, but I don't think that I'll really forgive the boys and want her to be with them. The book is really well written, I just feel like it didn't really add anything to the story.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Fox creates an enticing, dark, and altogether spicy world as she continues where she left off in her last book, Serpents. We delve deeper into Cinderheart Academy and the mystery that surrounds our heroin.
If you like dark, spicy, why choose romances that leave you panting and wanting for more, this is definitely the book for you.
I am addicted to this series. Twisted check, Sexy check, Well written check, frickin great characters check, delicious check. I love love Nim, Mason, Silas and Knox. The secrets the chemistry and just mind blowing. I definitely recommend this book without a doubt.
I received this ARC from the author and my review is voluntary.
What a story this is turning out to be! I thought book one was brilliant but book two is on another level! We get to see more of Silas in this book and learn more about his life which casts his character in a whole new light. To be honest reading the guys POV really adds another layer to what is going on...but be warned logan has taken the darkness up a notch in this series, especially when it concerns Nim! I just love that she has not held back and is pushing all these characters to the limit!
Still so many unanswered questions....book three cannot come quickly enough!
I received an ARC from the author and this is my honest review.
