Sweet Submission (part 1) opens up to socialite and heiress Isabelle Ashcroft (step-sister to Keely from The Seduction) arriving at a club with her “boyfriend” and step-brother Brent. Since she was sixteen she’s been in an emotionally abusive and sexual relationship with her older adopted brother. Upon their arrival at The Underground Isabelle discovers that it’s a BDSM sex club and that Brent’s intentions are murky.
Scotsman, Cameron McCullough, Cam aka Master (COO of Ashcroft Industries and Keely’s right-hand man) has worked his way up since starting as a College graduate. His regimented life is now split into two starkly different persons; the successful, collected and dynamic leader at day and the commanding and controlling master at night.
Spotting a lady in distress and discovering her to be his mentor’s adopted daughter sets off a series of emotions in him. The gentleman in him wants to save her, the dutiful employee wants to protect her and the Dom wants to tie her up and control her body mind and soul.
The story goes onto follow them as Cam deals with his conflicted emotions and sense of duty towards Isabelle whereas Isabelle, though traumatized by Brent’s behavior and the sex club, feels an attraction and curiosity towards the hot-cold, mercurial and secretive Cam. What is he hiding? It’s the buildup of sexual tension waiting to erupt…

There is nothing sexier than a dominate man. When I read the blurb for Sweet Submission, I was completely intrigued. It was a good story, but not at all what I expected it to be.
Isabelle Ashcroft might appear to have it all, but her life is a mess. She has a complicated and unhealthy relationship with her adopted brother, Brett. She can be vulnerable, weak and insecure when it come to him. When Brett takes her to a sex club with some cruel intentions, that’s the last straw for Isabelle. She’s not the young girl that lets Brett walk all over her. She doesn’t want to be that girl anymore. She is changing.
She gets a little help from Cameron McCullough, a man she’s known for a while. Cam can’t believe his eyes when he see’s Isabelle at the club. He’s stunned. He can tell things aren’t right, so he steps in to help her. Cam has always been attracted to Isabelle. But he can’t go there. Especially with all she’s been through and is going through right now. The part of him that’s the Dom, the Master wants her in every way... but the man he is knows he can’t go there. Not now.
Isabelle doesn’t understand Cam’s actions. Why was he at that club? Is he into that stuff? Why is he giving her mixed signals? And what are all the secrets he keeps?
Cam is a sexy Scottish Dom. He is an alpha male, protective, and also kind and caring. Isabelle is a chameleon. It’s been a long time since she let anyone see the real her. Cam isn’t even sure who that girl is. I’m not either, but I have a feeling we’re about to find out.
You could feel the tension, the intensity, the build up between these two. I wanted the kinky scenes, the sexy times, but we didn’t get much of that in this first installment. Sometimes when that happens, I feel like the moment we get a lot of that (which better be the next book ;)), it’s even more explosive because of the wait. I love how you could feel the chemistry between these two, but Cam is enough of a man to do what he feels is right for Isabelle, even if that’s not what he desires most.
Sweet Submission was an great introduction to Cam and Isabelle’s story. It’s the first Roxy Sloane book I’ve read and it was an enjoyable read for me. I like her writing style a lot. It was a little on the short side, by the end I might have yelled at my kindle ‘That’s it! You’re stopping there???’, but it’s safe to say I’m excited to get more of these two and anxious to see where their story goes!

"Sweet Submission" is a four part series with characters that are linked to "The Seduction" and "The Invitation"series. Cameron McCullough is second in command to Keely Fawes at Ashcroft Industries. This is his and Isabelle Ashcroft's story.
I always liked Cam and hoped that we would get more of him and boy has Roxy Sloane delivered!! By day, Cam is a high powered businessman, and at night, this delicious man, is DOM!! He spends a lot of time at a sex club called The Underground, which we all remember from The Invitation series.
Isabelle ends up at the club when her adopted step brother, Brent, brings her there to be a business associate's play thing. She was not aware of Brent's intentions and things get a little out of hand. Cam swoops in and saves Isabelle and invites her to stay with him at his place for a while. We learn that Cam has always harbored feelings for Isabelle, but out of loyalty to her late father, he has never tried to pursue her. He also feels if she were to find out about his sexual tastes, that she would be repulsed by him.
Isabelle has always been a people pleaser. She knows how to act like the proper socialite, but no one has been able to see the woman behind the facade, till Cam.
The scenes between these two are sexually charged and intense, BUT, there are no sexy times to be had between them in this one. I still enjoyed the sexual tension. I am so excited about this new series and I think I am really loving the BDSM genre. I can't wait to see what happens next for these two characters and Roxy Sloane has definitely created us another swoon worthy alpha male!!
I can't tell you all how excited I was to get the opportunity to read this ARC and I've always said that Ms. Sloane knows how to write panty melting erotica!!

Sweet Submission is a spin-off from the Invitation series which was a spin-off from the original Seduction series. Submission features Isabelle and Cam!
Like all of the others, this one sucks you in. It's raw and dirty. The thing making this one different is the addition of the BDSM element.
Ain't my thing personally.
While I did find this one entertaining, I can't say it felt much different from the other two series.
After Isabelle finds herself in a BDSM scene gone wrong, she is saved by Cam. He takes her home where he proceeds to run hot and cold the remainder of the book. Working Isabelle up, only to leave her hanging!
Cam doesn't think Isabelle will understand his cravings. His desires. His needs. Even though he can't help but picture Isabelle as his sub.
Isabelle was dating her adopted brother Brent at that time...
He of course, is not happy about losing his sugar mama. Drama is soon to unfold I'm sure.
We end this part with a minimal cliffy. Nothing to give you a heart attack over.
Again, it was entertaining....sure to be smutty....and has the added BDSM element if you're a fan!

I love this book. I love the writing style and how everything was neatly elaborated by the author. It's my first time reading a book written by Roxy Sloane and she certainly makes an impression.
I love Cam and how he treats Isabelle. He's that mysterious, dignified, and very intense dominant every woman will definitely drool over. Isabelle, on the other hand, is a likeable character. Not the usual, cliche submissive in some erotica books, but a very strong and independent one.
Their relationship did not progress into an instant sexual thing here and that's what makes this book good. The only problem I had was the length. It was too short, and there were no interesting events yet. I think the excitement and the awesomemness will happen in the second book. Let's see. :) Otherwise Sweet Submission is a promising start for a series. The sexual tension between the characters built up the anticipation. I'll definitely read the second book. :)

Cameron McCullough is a Scottish businessman at day, second man at Ashcroft Industries since his boss has passed, and a relentless Dom at night.

While Cam tries to keep whatever it is between them platonic, afraid that Isabelle might not be able to handle his true self and that she would be disgusted with him after the incident with Brent, it gets harder and harder deny her...
What the hell has gotten into me? This isn't who I am. I'm not some spotty schoolboy creaming in his pants at the sight of a hot blonde. I've commanded dozens of women, dominated them with unyielding control.
But this woman...she is rocking my carefully crafted discipline.
Isabelle on the other hand, pushes Cam a little more every day to get what she wants, and what she wants is HIM. She has gotten a taste of him and now she wants more...

Well, to be honest, the story wasn't exactly that original, you know... The billionaire businessman who is into BDSM? We have heard about that A MILLION TIMES BEFORE.
Plus, this guy has a locked secret room full of kinky toys and a huge bed... Very Fifty Shades of Grey, right?
...But I did enjoy reading it, and the characters were in sync, the sexual chemistry between them always palpable.

A bit of the story for start. We met Cam and Isabelle in author's previous series The Seduction and The Invitation. Cam is Keely's right hand at Ashcroft empire and Isabelle is her stepsister, a daughter of Charles Ashcroft, who used to be Cam's mentor in business.
What we didn't know is that Cam likes control, and not only in the board room. He is a member of this super hot sex club The Underground, which he attends frequently.
Isabelle is in a messed up relationship with her stepbrother Brent, who (being disinherited) uses her for money and doesn't give a shite about her.
Brent and a business friend of his takes Isabelle to The Underground, planning to play with her as their toy. When things get rough, Cam steps in and rescues her. Such a gentleman, *sigh*. Did I mention that he's got Scottish accent?
He takes her to his apartment and decides to take care of her and keep her safe. He used to pine for her when she visited her father's company and she has never spared a minute to look at him, at least that's what he thinks. Isabelle slowly discovers what world Cam is involved with and what turns him on, she wants to be a part of it, and he doesn't think she is fit for that kind of lifestyle. There is a bit tension, a bit push and pull and whole lot of hot and cold on his part. He desires her but also being a gentleman as he is, he wants to protect her and can't imagine being intimate with his mentor's daughter. What will he do? Hmmm...

This series is about Cam, Keely's right hand man at her father's business. We hadn't really got to know much about him until he gave us a huge clue in The Invitation series.
First, I want to say that I really enjoy RS' writing and that hasn't changed but I think I'm ODing on BDSM. I was excited to get a book about Cam until I found that out.
Now, what would be really exciting is if Isabelle could somehow flip that on Cam and make him not need it anymore. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like that will happen because as the cliché goes, she's discovering how much she is turned on by his dominance and his toys.
I did enjoy the two of them together...eventually. I have to admit that I threw up in my mouth a little about Cam being together with Isabelle....Brent's Isabelle. Of all the people he could've been teamed up with but...I'm willing to see them through. Now RS just has to get me to like Isabelle and a lot of that is riding on her "secret".
There is some steaminess but not a lot progress. This installment is fairly short so we're really just getting the beginning of things. But it did really help getting both their POVs...especially Cam's and his reactions to Isabelle!
However, the ending was priceless. I would have loved to have seen Cam's face! But that's what he gets for trying to do the right thing. It does leave us hanging a little.
Thankfully, the next book, Wild Submission, is out December 29th.

This one is really short and not bad writing at all but of course it's all a bit fast going with the length. Reminded me a bit of 50 Shades but more taking an excerpt out of that full length but the same he wants her but she's not the usual type. Fans of that sort of read may enjoy this one.

When I read the prologue, I was dreading that this was going to be just like "The Invitation", but I was pleasantly surprised.
The sex (or should I say lack of sex) was off the charts.. if that's even possible! Bwahahaha. The sexual tension was basically flowing out of the book in waves and I just wanted to scream at them to give into their desires! (Of course we can't have that.....)
The only bad thing I can say? IT WAS TOO SHORT. WAY TOO SHORT. Make the double digits into triple digits, Roxy Sloane! ;)
I'm looking forward to Wild Submission... a lot.

This is the first series I've started reading from this author and I loved it. I have a feeling that I'm missing out something because I haven't read her other books, but I'm working on it. ;)
In this book which is the beginning of this hot, steamy, dirty, sexy oh and amazing story. Cam or Cameron is the Dom
and Isabella is probably going to be the sub. (she will be) . Cam saves Isabelle from a horrible incident and he vows to protect her but only protect her.
But he gets attracted to her, sexualy, and he can't keep to that.
Cam is... is... I just knew from the start that he is going to make me drop the panties.

It starts out slow..teasing at what it could be..and boy did I wanted to know! I sat down and didn't get up until I was done..and believe me..the last page I kept pressing forward on my kindle..I might have cursed a bit!
Anyway, Isabelle is with that douche, yeah Brent (I want to kick his ass), and something goes terribly wrong..here comes Cam to the rescue..and Jeez I could feel it was getting hotter!
Isabelle is nothing like I thought she was..I like her and can't wait to read more about this woman who seems so shy and afraid, yet is so strong and goes after what she wants! Go Isabelle!

I've read this in one sitting, because once you start, you can't stop! The tension, the erotic sparks between Cam and Isabelle are so damn captivating!
An ugly date in a BDSM club ending with a CEO being the knight in shining armor turns into a battle of the wills.
When socialite Isabelle bends to the will of her "boyfriend" and agrees to play along, little does she know about his dirty intentions. Brent is a selfish asshole that hopefully gets his ass kicked as the series goes on. Little does the outside world know about their little secret. A secret Isabelle is afraid it will be known by the public. But this date doesn't go on as she hopes. It's not sensual and exciting, it's awful and her cries to stop are heard by one man - Cam.

If you too can't beat a read that has a secret to tell,

and smoking hot sex scenes leave you gasping for more,
then look no further! This one's thanksfully going to have it all!!
Loving it so far, 4 parts should be perfect!

I received this book as an ARC and I have to say that I am so glad that I did. This is a completely honest review, which I always give. Books are my life and I would never not be honest about it. If a book is horrible, I say so. If it's good or great I say so as well as give credit to the author because writing is not easy. With that being said, This book was truly awesome. Now for me, I view this book as an introductory book to the series. Sweet Submission is like the beginning of a movie. It gives you all the important information you will need to further understand the series. First impressions are very important and I am impressed.
This book is the first in a new series. In this book we are introduced to Cam and Isabelle. Cam is a Dom who is getting bored with the same old same old. In the book he is searching for something that he feels is missing. He is a very private person who is extremely determined to keep his private life separated from his professional life. He is king of his castle and always in control. Nothing has ever and will ever break that control....or so he thinks.
In comes Isabelle, the debutante, the socialite, wearing a pretty little facade that no one can see under. The girl with many many secrets. Isabelle works hard to keep the appearance of a social butterfly. She must never falter, never let anyone find out the truth.
In one unconceivable night, Two worlds start to collide in a dangerous way. Cam realizes he wants her. She realizes she wants him. The attraction, the desire, the struggle to keep 2 worlds apart. One where a man is fighting for control and the other, a woman fighting to hide the truth. Cam cannot lose control and does everything he can not to.
It was one of the most exciting beginnings to a series that I have read in a long time and I have read many, many, many books. Each page of this book flowed together and there weren't any times in the book where you had to skip over some of the words to get to the "good stuff". Nor were there any errors or typos which was a definite plus for me. Every book you read, should make you feel as though you can reach out and touch the character. Should make you hate and love that character at the same time. This book does that. Roxy Sloane has done a wonderful job and I absolutely LOVE this book and am not so patiently waiting for the next one in the series.

Cam is a high powered executive and second in command at Ashcroft Industries. More importantly, in my opinion, he's Scottish which means he has a yummy accent. His days are filled with business meetings and deals, but his nights are filled with bondage, dominance and submission. It's a part of him that he likes to keep private. Until Isabelle walks into his favorite sex club one night and fighting his attraction to her becomes even more difficult.
Her entire young adult life, Isabelle has pretended to be whatever the people in her life wanted her to be. But now, she is tired of faking it. When her asshole adoptive brother, Brent, takes things too far, Cam steps in to save her. Isabelle is determined to see more of Cam's dominant side but he is equally determined to keep her out. How can she get past that stone wall he has thrown up between them?
When I get an email from Roxy Sloane containing her latest ARC, everything else in my world ceases to exist. Nothing else matters besides reading it right then and there. This was especially true for Sweet Submission since it is Cam and Isabelle's story, something that I have have been waiting for since The Seduction serial concluded.
Cam is not as filthy mouthed as Vaughn or Ash, at least not yet anyway, but damn he is equally delicious. Something tells me that he is going to kick it up a notch as this serial continues and I can't wait for that. I found it frustrating how he kept trying to shut Isabelle out when clearly she was more than interested in this other side of him. But I loved her determination to get through to him. And that ending? Perfect. I can't wait to see how this plays out. Emphasis on play, of course.
You do not have to read The Seduction or The Invitation serials to read this, though I highly HIGHLY recommend it because they are dirty and wonderful and there are a few recurring characters. But mostly because of the dirty. I love the dirty and Roxy Sloane is so damn good at it.

He is torn, because he wants her, but feels she's off limits cause of his connection to her father. Isabelle swoons as Cam shows her kindness, and eventually affection. He is sensual, and his touch drives her wild for him. She wants him, but can't figure out why he keeps pushing her away every time they get close, until she discovers what he is hiding about himself....
Thank you Roxy Sloane for gifting me with this book, it was AMAZING!!! Kept me in suspense for the next one :-)

Well, Well....Foxy Roxy does it again....this woman knows how to write sexy men....I mean between Vaughn, Ash and Cam a girl could be set for life! We first met Cam in her debut series The Seduction and as all of us who read and loved that series, we were always a bit curious him. I was over the moon thrilled when I heard Roxy was writing his story with none other than Isabelle Ashcroft as his leading lady.
Sweet Submission screams classic Roxy from the opening page to the end. She is really carving out her own style of writing and I have really enjoyed watching it flourish over these three series. Realizing that Cam is a Dominant was a bit of a shocker to me....and I love watching him squirm under Isabelle's scrutiny. There is a bathtub scene that is so damn hot and intimate, you won't want to miss it! The book ends in a bit of a cliffy and I am so ready for the next installment. I think I am going to totally love where this series is going and seeing how Cam and Isabelle move forward from house guest to a D/s relationship!

OMG!!!
Roxy has been a personal favorite since line one in The Seduction 1, but Sweet Submission has taken the cake! After Vaughn and Ash, I really didn't think that she could top those two but boy was I mistaken. Cam is uber hot and Scottish to boot! The woman that has captured his mind is the one that he is supposed to be looking out for. Although he tries to fight his feelings, she will do everything she can to make him see her, the real her. Getting to know Cam and his darkest desires will leave her, and you, panting for more.
I'm so ready to submit to Cam and can't wait to see what will happen next.

Wow... So I had the pleasure of reading an advanced copy. First off, I need more of Cam now please. Ok, but about the book. Roxy has a way a telling a story so full of depth and intrigue and still giving you the hot, steamy scenes that require you get more batteries. I need and want more now... I was excited to get Cam's story and Roxy certainly does not disappoint. Requires spare panties and extra batteries... I am not so patiently going to be waiting for the next part of this deliciously hot read. Thank you Roxy <3

Absolutely f*cking loved this book! This is Cam and Isabellas's story. You met them in The Seduction and The Invitation. Isabella really needed to get rid of Brent, her adopted brother/lover. Cam is just the one to help her find herself. And again Roxy outdoes herself with the Hawt sex scenes.
