I just want my Grace back.

I want the girl I found sending me dirty tweets on Saint Thomas. I want the girl who reluctantly gave in to my charms and let me boss her around. I want the girl who sent me to my knees and made me imagine what her fairy tale would look like with me in it.

I just want to move on.

I want to plan the future and think about kids and preschools and college funds. I want everything she ever wanted, and I want us to make it happen together.

But the media needs more from us. More dirt. More pain. More payment for past transgressions.

You can’t change the past. And even though Grace is ready to put her demons to bed, mine are just starting to get restless. Because when you’ve silenced as many enemies as I have over the years, you know that secret won’t stay buried forever.

J.A. Huss

J.A. Huss never wanted to be a writer and she still dreams of that elusive career as an astronaut. She originally went to school to become an equine veterinarian but soon figured out they keep horrible hours and decided to go to grad school instead. That Ph.D wasn’t all it was cracked up to be (and she really sucked at the whole scientist thing), so she dropped out and got a M.S. in forensic toxicology just to get the whole thing over with as soon as possible.

After graduation she got a job with the state of Colorado as their one and only hog farm inspector and spent her days wandering the Eastern Plains shooting the shit with farmers. After a few years of that, she got bored. And since she was a homeschool mom and actually does love science, she decided to write science textbooks and make online classes for other homeschool moms. She wrote more than two hundred of those workbooks and was the number one publisher at the online homeschool store many times, but eventually she covered every science topic she could think of and ran out of shit to say.

So in 2012 she decided to write fiction instead. That year she released her first three books and started a career that would make her a New York Times bestseller and land her on the USA Today Bestseller’s List eighteen times in the next three years. Her books have sold millions of copies all over the world, the audio version of her semi-autobiographical book, Eighteen, was nominated for a Voice Arts Award and an Audie award in 2016 and 2017 respectively, her audiobook Mr. Perfect was nominated for a Voice Arts Award in 2017, and her book, Taking Turns, was nominated for an Audie Award in 2018. Johnathan McClain is her first (and only) writing partner and even though they are worlds apart in just about every way imaginable, it works.

She lives on a ranch in Central Colorado with her family.

★★★★★! Home, part 6 of 6. Movie star @VaughnAsher & his twitter queen are on the road home!

“I want you to spank me so I can cry. And then I want you to fuck me and make it better.”

The Social Media serial should be read in order:
Part 1: Follow
Part 2: Like
Part 3: Block
Part 4: Status
Part 5: Profile
Part 6: Home

In Social Media, Part 1-5 event planner and twitter queen Grace Kinsella aka @FilthyBlueBird met her twitter muse, Hollywood heartthrob Vaughn Asher aka Master while on vacation. In the roller-coaster that followed Vaughn relentlessly pursued for Grace to be his next sub, but requiring a NDA so he could act out all his debauched desires.

He resorted to mind-blowing samples of his kinky sex, used twitter and wasn’t below stalking and hacking. But along the way feelings entered the picture offering both clarity and confusion for these two self-sworn loners. Add to that their murky and traumatic pasts, danger, secrets, villains and the paparazzi at every turn.

Home, Part 6 opens up to Vaughn and Grace recovering from part 5’s traumatic events. Forced to confront their past didn’t resolve it though and they have a journey of acceptance, healing and redemption ahead. Throw in some vengeful villains and exes and their story is nothing short of a roooller-coooaster all the way home!

 photo sm1HxBSbysb_zps12cf9795.gif

Vaughn Asher aka Master is going on my top-10 hero shelf! Eight words to describe Vaughn: Commanding, jaded, blasé, entitled, reflective, protective, unyielding, unpredictable and determined.

 photo sm1hexBSbysb_zps3e43b3ef.gif

Eight words to describe Grace Kinsella aka @FilthyBlueBird: Unassuming, conflicted, secretive, broken, strong, reflective, vulnerable and resourceful.

Home is the last installment in the Social Media serial. I have enjoyed every twist and turn and the personal growth I saw in both Vaughn and Grace, especially Vaughn. I am happy to report that the ending truly brought them “home”.

#ExcellentStory-telling! #GeniusPlot! #VaughnAsherATop10Hero! #6Stars!

“There is nothing about you I’d change. I love all the parts.”

Reading Home is a bittersweet thing. After spending the last few months reading Grace and Vaughn’s story bit by bit, I was not ready for it to end. Unsurprisingly, this was a perfect conclusion. I felt like the series was ended in a fantastic way.

Grace and Vaughn have been through so much in such a short amount of time. I really don’t want to re-hash anything that has happened in this book or that happens in the others, but I will say that after reading, I am completely satisfied. Questions have been answered, final revelations were made and the ending was just fabulous. It hasn’t been any easy journey for these two. Nothing for either of them has come easy, but when it’s all said and done- they have each other.

 photo 68de2a19-0d82-482a-8962-5471a42db5e5_zpsebc5e272.jpg

Grace has shown us all kinds of sides. She has a past. She had her secrets from Vaughn. She’s been weak, she’s been strong, she’s been vulnerable. She is a fighter and she is a surviver. Some of the installments I loved her more than others, but in the end, I think she may be my favorite Huss heroine.

Then there is Vaughn Asher. Vaughn is bossy. He is sexy, moody, sweet, a jerk, a lover a fighter, full of his own secrets. Vaughn has lots of sides too. Lots of different pieces. But I loved every one. More than anything, he wants to protect Grace, to love Grace. To be her prince and give her the fairytale ending she so deserves.

When it comes to JA Huss’s books, the one thing I’ve come to expect is to expect the unexpected. If your looking for a same old same old romance, erotica etc you are looking in the wrong spot. This series is full or originality. If you think you know whats going to happen next, what secrets these characters hold or how it’s going to turn out, you really have no idea. And I freaking love that. So few books/series really surprise me anymore so to find a unique story line that really threw me for a loop- well, lets just say these books are some gems.

Follow, Like, Block, Status, Profile and Home. Each and every installment had something fresh and something different. I loved watching this story and these characters evolve. This is most definitely the best group of serials I have had the pleasure of reading. And for those of you that don’t love the serial concept- now that all 6 are live, you have no excuse not to pick them up for yourself!

In this last installment we finally find out all secrets that were being hidden so far. In the last book Grace was face to face with her past and she get out of there alive. But those days stills haunt her and although Vaughn is doing everything he can to help her, she is still haunted and unable to move on.
At the same time, the past Vaughn thought to bury is coming to surface again and threatening everything in his life, especially Grace and all they accomplish.
But what they don’t know is that Grace finds out that the best way to save herself, is to save her future with the man she loves.
And so the battle with media for their lives begin, and this time harder and with more dangerous secrets to hide.

description

When I started reading this series I always thought it would be something along the lines of “billionaire famous dude with bdsm tendencies and assholes attitudes finds girl, fall in love, everything changes forever”. I’m happy to say I couldn’t be more wrong. These books wrapped up in a way that was impossible to predict, they had awesome twists, steamy moments and heartwarming ones. It was a story full of action, secrets and love and I loved every minute of it. A not-to-miss series.

Rating: 5 Stars.
Characters Development: Vaughn was one of the most complex characters I’ve read. When this series started all indicated that he would be another asshole who redeemed himself after falling in love. Well, he was that too, but he had much more content. He had a sweet and loyal hidden side that was amazing to find out. I really loved Grace as well and in this last book was amazing to see how she (almost) free herself from her past and for the first time started to actually move on. For someone who started as a girl with a famous crush and a dirty twitter, it was pretty good to see how she end up.

5 Perfect ending…Stars

Home is the epic ending in the Social Media Series. When I first heard about this series I was so excited to read about something so original. Social medial has become a huge part of our lives, and reading a story about a normal girl interacting with a movies star via Twitter was a huge hook for me.

Throughout this series we got to see Vaughn and Grace at their worse and best, and the best part is I feel like I really know them. A lot of times in series you never feel like you get to know the characters you get choppy bits and pieces of them, but never know them. They way this series is written you got to know them and it feels like a full book.

Now on to this installment. Grace is home and while she is a strong character, the events of the past few weeks have shaken her to her core. She is questioning everything, unsure of how she wants things to continue in her life.

As it was foreshadowed in Profile, more drama and secrets are on the horizon for Vaughn. The conclusion brings everything to head and the couple has so many things face. Like always Vaughn proved to be completely perfect. I love how protective and loving he is with Grace.

Of course with Vaughn this book is hot as fuck and sexy as sin, even with drama and things coming to end, we still got to see him and all his dirty ways.

I have seriously loved getting to a peak into Vaughn and Grace’s life every two weeks. This ending is bitter sweet, I hate to see it come to an end, but loved every word. I highly recommend this series!

Aww....this was such a sweet ending to the series. I wasn't sure what the last book would contain but it seemed that Grace had still one more battle to overcome. She needed to let go of the past and start living again. I seriously loved how caring and patient Vaughn was with Grace. She had his absolute support in every way and that was lovely to see. Grace, throughout the series has irritated me a tad bit, but now that I know what happened to her in the past it makes sense. Still, I wish she would have gotten out of her funk sooner, especially when Vaughn was trying to help her, instead she kind of pushed him away. It all worked out in the end and I was very happy with their ending. It was incredibly sweet and heart warming. Overall, this series was a really good one. It was full of angst, twists, and of course steam. It was emotional in some parts of very sweet and funny in others. If you want a quick steamy read, with an actual story, then you should definitely give this series a try.

Just as one nightmare for Grace & Vaughn ends another one begins. In the final installment of the Social Media Series, Vaughn brings Grace home to LA, but the girl he fell in love is nowhere to be found. Vaughn gave her time, he gave her his patience and his love, but none of that is bringing her back. Now it’s time for Vaughn to take control and fight to bring back his filthy blue bird.

Screenshot_1

I loved this series. I loved the twist and turns it took – I loved that the author took such a leap with this series, with the format of telling this story. Everything about this story was loved. Hard. Grace and Vaughn’s story was not conventional, these characters were far more complex than what we were shown in the first few installments of this series and this storyline was not something that you could clearly see until the end. This is the magic that is JA Huss. The way this author can take a story and turn it inside out is just one of the reasons why I love her style.

Screenshot_4

Vaughn and Grace’s characters were slowly revealed to the readers, piece by piece. Just when you thought you got a handle of who they were, things would change and you’d see a side of them that you did not expect. When I started Follow I expected a series that was going to be steamy, but part of me was convinced that we’d get a flirty story; in the end we get a complex story that appeared to have come out of nowhere. But everything fit.

Screenshot_6

JA Huss has never once let me down as a reader. She is one of those authors that is able to keep you guessing the entire time. There is no such thing as predictability in her plots. There are a few authors that I am able to blindly give my trust to when I read their work. She is one of those. Home was a fantastic conclusion to this series and Vaughn is another character that gives the rest of the JA boys a run for their money.

And since this is a JA Huss book, here are a few extra teasers :)

A fitting end to a wild series...

Vaughn Asher is such a bullshitter. But it's so fucking adorable I almost die. Fate and souls and ties that tether us through eternity. That's what he meant...
The Social Media Series started out with a stereotypical Alpha-Male celebrity Dom attempting to coerce a fan into his kinky clutches. At first, I was a little worried that this series wouldn't hold up - I didn't even particularly like Vaughn Asher until the third book...

I'm so glad I stuck with it, though. This series morphed into a psycho-sexual thriller that had me devouring the final books in single sittings.

J.A. Huss balanced the heat, humor, romance, angst, and a splash of darkness... I was completely impressed and entertained... The story got better and better with each book.

Grace Kinsella
#EpicQuestionsCount
Vaughn gets it. Of all the people who have tried to help me, this man - this self-centered, egotistical asshole - gets it.
Grace was a seemingly carefree woman ruling the Twitter-verse with her naughty tweets and harmless stalking of her celebrity crush, Vaughn Asher. She never expected to actually meet the man behind her fantasies, or the media fallout that would result from their illicit affair.

Grace had a secret past that the relentless media uncovered and forced her to confront. She had spent the last ten years of her life running from the media spotlight surrounding her childhood tragedy, but her life is front-page news once more...

She was running from her toxic relationship with Vaughn Asher...
Hiding from a past she thought she had overcome...
Terrified that the man who held her captive when she was a teenager would come back for her...

“I don’t want to leave you. I love you. I married you. I want to fuck you and boss you around and make you have my babies. I want to keep you forever. You’re the one who’s got one foot out the door. I want you to commit, Grace. And the first step is to submit.”
Vaughn Asher is a media darling. He has lived his entire life in front of cameras - he was a child star who grew up into Hollywood royalty. Paparazzi follow him everywhere, so his private life is meticulously guarded from their prying eyes.

His public relationships were carefully contracted business arrangements, and his sexual exploits received the same level of contractual security. Every woman who ever made it into this bed was forced to sign a NDA.

The last thing Vaughn Asher needed was to have his kinky preferences splashed all over the news. He thought he was safe when he met Grace, but he soon learned that the media can be dangerous and deadly...

He knows that he loves Grace...
He's convinced that they're meant to be together...
But he can't save her from her past...

This is one story where the Princess has to save herself if she wants that Fairy Tale ending...

This series is all about how the Media brought together two unlikely souls, tore them apart, and in this final book Grace and Vaughn finally get the chance to go toe-to-toe with the vindictive journalists who worked so diligently to rip them apart...

There were moments in this book when I wanted to smack the crap out of Grace. At the start of this series I was cheering on Grace Kinsella for standing her ground with Vaughn Asher, but somewhere (and I'm not sure exactly when) I switched corners. Vaughn became the champion of this story for me and I was mentally begging Grace to get her shit together...

I think that kind of shift in opinion really speaks to the quality of the writing in the Social Media Series. I'm not a devoted Huss follower, but I'd read enough of her work to know that she would take me on a wild ride if I let her.

I was really impressed with this series, and I'm excited to see what J.A. Huss has in store for us in the future!

Words can't even describe how much I loved this whole series...while it started a bit iffy...it may be possible Vaughn Asher has wiggled his way into my top 5 book bf's ever!

Yep...he is just like that perfect! A playboy Hollywood heartthrob who takes each day as if it is a challenge...a game of pleasure. He has left many hearts in pieces. Who would have thought that a sassy twitter goddess would rock his world in so many ways!

Life would never be the same for Vaughn Asher once he had a minute with hot and sassy Grace. But NOPE...she is not like the rest. Hot and horny? Yes. Willing to play by his rules? NO.

And that my fellow readers is the fun in the series. Oh Lord...I laughed, I panted, I swooned, and I cried. This rollercoaster of a series was so good! So much happens. So much progress. So much development. If you want heat that is both passionate and erotic...quirky characters who capture your heart...an intense suspenseful read...The Social Media series is perfect!

Well, I want to thank JA Huss from the bottom of my heart for bringing Grace and Vaughn Home to the best possible place for them both. There was drama, there was sadness, there was intrigue, there was redemption, there was love, there was happily ever after.

Grace has come so far but she is still that scared little girl. But Vaughn's love for her, his commitment to her, brings her full circle, brings her HOME. But getting there has its drama. Stop? Or go? Vaughn gets tough with Grace- something that she needs to move on- to become Grace again. Also in the background, Vaughn must deal with the Black Bash and the repercussions it will cause to them both. This is a story of trust, commitment and love.

Vaughn- so much to say about him!! I loved that he started out as an ass in Follow and completely grew to an amazing man in Home. I tend to love an ass but one that has redeeming qualities. All I can say is, I love Vaughn Asher!!

The Social Media Series is my first read of JA Huss. She so knocked it out of the park for me that I can't wait to read everything that she has written. I love her storytelling, her twist and turns, her character development- It was just a Fabulous Series!!! I highly recommend for everyone!!

“3.5 Asher stars”

Well this was a sweet read, I remember adding First two books of this series to my ‘bdsm’ shelf and this one to my ‘sweet romance’ that’s how much the plot has changed. When it started the story was revolving around Vaughn and Grace’s sexual desires. Surprisingly it took a great turn in book 3, where Grace’s lost childhood and her traumatic past was revealed. Characters on a whole showed lot of development, we get to see Vaughn’s not so movie star side but the sensitive one who adores his family and who loves Grace unconditionally. Grace on other hand confused the hell out me in the beginning but now I guess she grew on me, she finally confronts her demon and moves on to embrace her new life.

I’m so glad I didn’t give up on this series, even though the MC’s are not out of ordinary they were charming and lovable. This was the story of finding love and hope when you are most lost, it’s about letting go and second chances. All in all I had a happy face towards the end. ^-^

The best part of this series is the writing, it was so elegant and smooth. I lost the track of time reading it, I always wondered how the hell did I reach to the end of every chapter that soon!! (now that’s the sign of good writing right?). Desperately waiting to read her standalone “Three, Two, One” which will be out in January.

Aww I love this cover! We can finally see Grace on the cover & not just Vaughn!

4.5 Bittersweet stars

Ahh...The final instalment of this series. I won't lie, I'm going to miss Vaughn & Grace. They were fun to read & their story grew on me. I don't know If I'm making grammar mistakes at the moment, english isn't even my mother language, so sue me.

I would give them 5 stars, but there were a couple of things that made it slightly less than perfect for me. I loved it, don't get me wrong! But I thought that it could be filled with nicer things, maybe more about their future.. It ran slightly forward in time but the facts that happened , felt more like they were being dragged. I don't know if I can explain it without giving away spoilers.

I liked that we saw again her really nice relationship with her best friend, it felt forgotten in the previous books. Many things actually popped back into this one from the first book, like his family, the NDA etc. I loved the flashbacks & how they were remembering the day they first met.

Overall, I enjoyed this series & I think people should give them a chance. :)

#WOOHOHOHOOO!!!

I can't believe this actually happened. This is definitely a first for me. When I started this series I wasn't even sure I would finish it.
Follow and Like weren't bad, but they just didn't wow me...

But there was something about Vaughn...I just HAD TO GO ON! And I'm so glad I did, because this series got better and better with each installment.

Of course Home was my absolute favorite part!

** 5++ STARS **

I'm feeling so bittersweet right now.

I am so happy for the way this beautiful story ended!

But I'm also sad, because, well I'm not ready to let Vaughn and Grace go.

** REVIEW TO COME! **

P.S: Writing this review will be incredibly hard for several reasons, one being the fact that I have so many quotes highlighted in this book! I can't help it, everything about this book is too beautiful not to be emphasized...

I'm not sure quite how I feel about that ending. The rest of the book was completely perfect & wrapped up this serial nicely. I think I was just looking for a little bit more from the last chapter. Some kind of further explanation .

Overall this serial is fantastic ... A definite recommend! I walk away from this still loving Mr Asher ... And now I'm also loving Mrs Asher. Superb characters in an unexpectedly deep & gritty read.

Well done J.A. Huss, well done!

HOME....what can I say it was just PERFECTION!! This series took readers on one hell of a ride from #dirtyhashtags, romance, mystery, suspense and the HEA. I loved how JA Huss blended and weaved so many layers into this series. She kept her readers guessing and at the same time intrigued. The writing is phenomenal. The storytelling was riveting. And the author is amazing!!! If you haven't read the Social Media Series....Please do! It's a must read!! This series deserves more than 5 stars!!!

OMS(oh my shit). This book was the perfect final/ending. I love J.A huss she doesn't board me out like some authors, she has a really nice type of writing which makes her unique.

When I look back to follow I could see a huge difference in characters. It's like the more books their is the more....important,complicated,mature they become.

Profile was awesome its a great book to a great series to an amazing story to a WOW ending. I'm really glad I read this series and ill be looking out for more;)

You know when you read a really great series only for everything to fizzle out once you get to the last book? Yeah, that's what happened here. After having taken so long to start liking Vaughn he just really pissed me the fuck off in this book.

After everything Grace went through in the last book I found him to be extremely insensitive to her needs. I think after all the trauma topped with it was completely understandable for her to be depressed. How dare he criticize her or make her feel like she's doing something wrong? He was insensitive, selfish, and cruel. To top it all off I don't understand why the author would write a scene with him kissing his ex-girlfriend (even if it was just for filming the movie) and then never have Grace bring it up. She was obviously incredibly hurt and bothered by the fact that he never told her about the scene so why even add it into the story line if she was never going to bring it up?

That pissed me off the most and by that point I was pretty much over the whole story. There was just too much and not enough going on all at the same time, which is sad because when the series was good it was really good.

5 stars!!

I can't tell you how glad I am that I stuck with this series. I truly loved it and it was more than I expected. In Home the story comes full circle. We see Vaughn's transformation in the previous books. We see him grow and his feelings mature. But Grace?? She was wishy washy, a drama llama for most of the series. I know she had her reasons but still.... But after she said this I want you to spank me so I can cry. And then I want you to fuck me and make it better. it was like she was able to let everything out and begin to heal! to finally go Home. Believe me there was still drama after this, a few surprises but I loved how JA Huss wrapped everything up.
I love everything about you Grace, I love all your parts ....

If you read Follow and gave up, I encourage you to read on. You won't regret it, I didn't!!

4.5 Aww-loved-the-series Stars...!!

I love Profile so much that I was wary of picking up Home.

But I'm really glad I did. I loved this perfect little ending. I felt Vaughn's past was a little unnecessary but it worked out fine. I tell you these people always leave me a little confused, a little turned on and a lot loving them at the end of each book. Home was a perfect end and I'll be missing my Mr and Mrs Ashe...:(

Anyhow. I loved the complete series and its a must pick for all romance junkies...!!

It's bittersweet to get to the last book in a serial. I couldn't WAIT to read this book, but at the same time, I didn't want it to END!!!

What I love about JA Huss is that her books are unpredictable.

Waaaay back in Follow, I thought this was a sexy story about a gorgeous filthy movie star with a kinky BDSM side and his next ... sexy play thing.

Who are those people?

The story has evolved into so much more.

In Home, Vaughn and Grace aren't done overcoming obstacles. The media isn't done torturing them. And Grace isn't over what happened to her in the previous book.

My hopes going into this book were that:
- Vaughn and Grace would kick ass and overcome obstacles thrown at them
- Vaughn and Grace would have hot sex
- Vaughn and Grace would have a happily ever after

I was not disappointed!!!

Loved taking this journey with these characters.

Can't wait to read...whatever else JA Huss writes!! Well done, Julie!!

I highly recommend reading this serial!!!

10 Stars for #MadGenius Series #VaughnAndGraceForever

I have run out of words to express how much I love the imaginative Social Media series by JA Huss. True to her form, she has written another amazing conclusion to a series that has capture both my mind and my heart. I will forever call JA Huss a #MadGenuisAuthor and she did not disappoint with the conclusion to Vaughn and Grace's story.

No words can adequately describe the events in this final book. No words can describe the twists and turns that we all love. No words can describe the emotions she evokes in me. All that I can say is that this final installment of the series personifies the meaning of HOME. Not just for Grace and Vaughn, but for my heart and mind, as well. Thank you, JA Huss, for another series will forever live inside me.

This series deserves like every star possible! I was not ready to say goodbye to Vaughn and Grace yet but it was so amazing. Every question every doubt is finally addressed and dealt with. This is by far my favorite series I've read. I'm typically not a big fan of serial novellas like this but JA did it in a brilliant way and only had us waiting two weeks in between books.

I'm so happy with the way this played out. Job well done JA!!!

Can I offer you a piece of advice? If you were one of those people who read FOLLOW (Social Media #1) and decided to abandon the series because there wasn't enough of this or that or there was too much of this or that - please, for the love of all that is good and right in the world, try again, and this time, KEEP READING. The difference in the story line and the characters and... just, EVERYTHING... is huge between the first and the last book.

It's called a STORY ARC. And, this one is spectacular.

In HOME, Grace is dealing with the aftermath of her ordeal. Or rather - NOT dealing with it. She's not the same Grace, and Vaughn has no idea what to do about it. Meanwhile, Vaughn has another problem. He's being blackmailed by a member of the paparazzi, and if he doesn't give in to their demands, it could ruin both he and Grace.

If you've read this far, you know that the stuff that Grace has gone through would bring nearly anyone to their knees. The fact that she's still on her feet is a testament to her strength. And the fact that Vaughn is still, not only by her side, but holding her up is evidence of how much he truly and completely loves her. But, anyone who could think that even Grace could make it through everything completely unscathed is nuts. And, I'm so glad that JA Huss didn't make it easy on her. It shouldn't be easy.

"I feel the guilt of living. I feel the pain of knowing I am alone. That my family is dead. That my brother never got a chance to be there for me when I needed him. For my parents, who were as nonexistent at my own wedding as I was. For all the family members who turned their backs on me."

I felt... so much... for Grace in Home. She's struggling so much with the events of the past few months. She's trying to force herself to get over it all and adjust to her new life as Mrs. Vaughn Asher. She has no job at the moment, no friends - no real purpose or place to focus her time or attention. So, she focuses inward and gets stuck in her own head.

Vaughn has no blessed idea what to do. He knows he loves her more than ever. He knows he admires her resilience and strength. And, he knows she's completely miserable. But, as to how to fix it all, he's clueless. Vaughn's used to being able to snap his fingers, and things happen. He has money, charisma and power. Yet, none of it can help in this situation. He has to put all his faith in Grace and her love. And, that's a new thing for him.

Goodness - that man. When I think back to the Vaughn Asher in Follow and Like who was looking to break Grace's carefully hewn facade, it's clear that no parts of him are visible any longer. Everything he's learned about Grace has affected his life and shown him that having a real connection with someone who challenges you and loves you and supports you is so much better than a superficial, somewhat kinky connection with someone who is here today and gone tomorrow.

"I can't leave here without you. I can't. I've never wanted a woman so much in all my life. And I don't want you just for sex, Grace. I want you for that and more. I want you for lying in bed naked on a Sunday afternoon. I want to cook dinners with you. I want to buy a puppy together and give him a ridiculous name, like Boris or Dave. Please be mine, Grace."

In Home, Vaughn and Grace face one final hurdle together. The paparazzi - well, one in particular - are determined to make Vaughn pay for his past transgressions. We've seen a bit of this in previous books, when some girl came out of the woodwork, claiming to be pregnant with his baby. Well, the media are out for blood now, and are prepared to take Grace out in the process. All of a sudden, Vaughn has a lot more to lose. He's trying to get his Grace back, and this could destroy all his hard work. In my opinion, Vaughn being who he is, makes some bad choices here so that he can protect Grace. He doesn't give her enough credit. To be fair, they're both still trying to figure out what their roles are in the relationship and what each other can truly handle. But, he definitely should've trusted her with all the information he had.

Instead, Vaughn tries to go it alone, and Grace is forced to prove to him that she's got this. And, she totally does. I think he falls in love with her a little more each time she does that. No one else has ever put him in his place like she does.

Grace's discovery of her new family - the Asher family - and her confrontation with her old one were some of the best parts of Home. She finally cut ties with the chains that were dragging her down, and discovered that, when she snagged Vaughn, that he came with a mom and a dad and a sister and a brother and a strange adopted daughter relationship thing with Felicity. And, all those people are now her people too. Grace deserves all that.

I said it before - the story arc for this series is awesome. What started out as a story about two people getting their kink on turned out to be a psychological mind screw and an epic love story all rolled into one. With some kink on the side. Because, well, every good story needs a little kink now and again.

"I have never felt this sure of something in my whole life. Ever. You, baby. You are the secret to life. You are my reason for being. You are my soulmate. We are tethered by a string. Some mystical string that connects us and has connected us since our inception. And the day I saw your sandaled foot step out of that dingy airport shuttle, I knew. You were my other half. It's the only explanation for how I feel about you. And I tried to deny it. tried to prove to myself that this arrangement with you was... ordinary. What we have is so far from ordinary, Grace. It's not a connection. It's a reconnection."
