Z was completely delicious. A bad boy, tattoos, piercings, arroAwesome read!!!
Just in time to watch the Olympics, too!!
I loved Z and Ophelia's story.
Z was completely delicious. A bad boy, tattoos, piercings, arrogant, cocky, oh and don't forget a total man-whore. He has been through some tough times and doesn't know how to deal with it. He deals by snowboarding, drinking, fighting and girls. He knows he can get any girl he wants.
But Ophelia doesn't fall victim to his charms. At least not right away. Ophelia has also been through some tough times.
Their chemistry is off the charts. But Ophelia brings out a vulnerable side to Z. And that's what made me swoon for Z. Seeing him vulnerable. Seeing him care about someone. There is nothing better than a sexy, bad boy that has a sweet, vulnerable side.
These two characters grow throughout the story and in the end become better people because of their connection. Z deserves every happiness and so does Ophelia.
I also loved the group of friends.
I kind of wish we could have had some more resolution with Z's father. And I would have loved to see Ophelia's family's reception to Z.
But the real kicker was the ending. Holy f@ck - that ending did me in. Watch out folks, there is a cliff hanger. I think I read that last page like 3 times to see if I was imagining things. Even had to show it to my husband because I just could not believe my eyes. Yep, she went there. Gaaahhhhh!
I need more!!! I need more!!
Watching snowboarding will forever remind me of Z!!
Highly recommend and I will definitely read the sequel.

I'm a huge fan of Megan Hart. I have come to expect a sexy, steamy book with a solid plot to back it up. Broken and Dirty are my favorites of this author's books.
I found Vanilla to be a lot slower paced than most of Megan Hart's books.
It took me a while to even figure out who the male lead was going to be. The first 60% of the book was very slow moving. I kept reading, waiting for things to pick up.
The last portion of the book did pick up the pace, but only slightly.
My favorite part was getting to see Alex Kennedy. I love how this author weaves characters from other books into her new releases. It's not related to Tempted or Naked at all, but we get to see how he's doing regardless.
All in all, this book was not my favorite from this author, but I continue to look forward to her future books. ...more
I was so excited to read the second book in the Cold Fury Hockey Series!
Can I just say that these covers are freaking HOT??? OMG, Alex and G4.5 Stars
I was so excited to read the second book in the Cold Fury Hockey Series!
Can I just say that these covers are freaking HOT??? OMG, Alex and Garrett have amazing covers.
Garrett's story was WAY more emotional for me than I thought it was going to be.
Garrett = professional hockey player, wealthy, gorgeous, man-whore.
Olivia = Sutton's gorgeous cousin.
Garrett and Olivia meet at a party during the start of the season's training activities. Garrett instantly hones in on Olivia because she is gorgeous. Olivia resists his charm and turns him down when he makes a move.
But, she enjoys flirting with him and can't help but feel the sexual chemistry between them. However, she knows that Garrett is the king of one night stands.
With her recent medical diagnosis, she decides that a one night stand might be just the diversion she needs. She counts on him losing interest because she isn't in a position to start up a relationship.
The chemistry between them is off the charts hot.
But Garrett doesn't lost interest after just one time. He keeps coming back for more.
Things I loved about this book: ~ Catching up with Alex & Sutton ~ Garrett - he really proves to be more than just a pretty face. He's a pretty solid, stand up guy. ~ Olivia is a very likable female lead. ~ The epilogue!!!!
Things I did not like about this book: (view spoiler)[ I had no idea this book had cancer in it. This is such a difficult and emotional topic for me to read about. I was a blubbering fool through most of it. Had I known going in, I would have had a chance to prepare. (hide spoiler)]
Can't wait to read Zack's story. I have a feeling that one will be very emotional too.
2.5 stars I have LOVED other books by this author so I was really excited to read In His Keeping.
Unfortunately, this book was not for me.

The dialogue was sooooo formal and over the top.
Insta love.
Paranormal elements - which sometimes can work for me but it didn't in this book.
Immature heroine.
I had very trouble "buying in" to the relationship of Ari and Beau. Without being connected to the characters and invested in the relationship, nothing else really worked for me.
Again, I love this author. KGI series and Sweet Series and several other books have been amazing, so I will continue to read her work.

The writing sucked me right into the story and I couldn't say away from4.5 stars- loved it! Full review to come.
AWESOME read!!!
Paisley & Jaggar. Sigh.
The writing sucked me right into the story and I couldn't say away from it.
Everyone treats Paisley like she's breakable due to the heart condition she has. Her family wants her to live a bubble. As a result, Paisley doesn't feel like she's really living.
Jaggar doesn't know anything about this heart condition and treats her like she is normal. Finally, Paisley feels like she is alive. Not wrapped in a bubble.
Jaggar and Paisley have an instant connection - but they fight it. Neither one wants to want the other. Jaggar convinces himself he doesn't need the distraction. Paisley doesn't want to hurt Jaggar.
Things I loved: - No insta-love. They both fought their feelings for each other and decided to try to be friends. Hah! - The chemistry between Paisley and Jaggar was intense. They definitely BURNED for each other. - I also loved the group of friends. - I loved seeing Ember & Josh from book 1!! - Loved seeing the characters grow throughout the book. Jaggar is so much more than a hot body. Paisley learns to stand up to her mom.
Things I did not like. - 100000 names. In the beginning, it was really hard for me to decipher who was who. The military rank is quite confusing for me as I have no experience with it. First names are used, then last names are used - I found myself backing up to make sure I knew who was being talked about.
Loved this love story!!! Highly recommend!!...more
Shay did a great job sucking me into the story with the Prologue. The Prologue is a scene from later in the book where things have gone a bit...awry. Shay did a great job sucking me into the story with the Prologue. The Prologue is a scene from later in the book where things have gone a bit...awry.
And then we head into Chapter 1. I have to tell you, I couldn't wait to see how it all unfolded into that scene from the Prologue.
This story is told from Chloe's POV.
Chloe is a girl who always thinks before she speaks, plans everything out and never takes risks. She plays it safe.
Then she runs into a brick wall. A tall, dark, tattooed, gorgeous man who is the size of a brick wall. He ignites some excitement into her world and brings a whole lot of...risks.
Chloe is struggling not to judge Aidan by his appearance, but all of these seeds of doubt are in her mind. She constantly has alarms going off about him, but doesn't want to hurt his feelings by bluntly asking him what she wants to know. THIS DRIVES ME CRAZY!!!!!
Regardless, Aidan is one hot piece of man. All of my highlights are from him. Here are a couple:
"Life isn't about how it ends; it's about what you do while you're alive." Wise, that one.
"By the time the sun rises again, you are going to be covered in my cum and ruined for every man you ever meet again." And there go my panties. Yes, folks, Aidan is a dirty talker. Get ready for his hotness.
"Are you ready for this, Chloe?" he cooed in my ear, the softness of his voice contrasting with his words. "Are you ready to get fucked?"
Chloe can't help but be wildly attracted to this guy.
This book brings the heat. It also brings some twists, some secrets and a whole lot of happy.
4.5 stars loved this book! Matt- a hot navy seal with a soft heart for kids. Abby - a widow who has been left by everyone she has loved.

I am in complete love with Monica Murphy's One Week Girlfriend series. So I jumped at the opportunity to review Owning Violet via Netgalley ARC.
Things I loved: - Ryder is damn sexy. Suit wearing professional at work....unwrap the package and what do you get? A tattooed bad boy. YUM! - Ryder and Violet have tons of chemistry. They fight, they get under each other's skin. They are drawn to each other. Love this. - No insta love.
Things I did not like: - Story line is pretty predictable. - The writing is very repetitive. - Some of the story is left unresolved. I know this is meant to be a series, but the ending felt a bit rushed. - Pilar. This is the character you love to hate in this book!
All in all, an enjoyable read by Monica Murphy. I look forward to reading Stealing Rose. ...more
