4.5 stars- loved it!
Full review to come.
AWESOME read!!!
Paisley & Jaggar. Sigh.
The writing sucked me right into the story and I couldn't say away from it.
Everyone treats Paisley like she's breakable due to the heart condition she has. Her family wants her to live a bubble. As a result, Paisley doesn't feel like she's really living.
Jaggar doesn't know anything about this heart condition and treats her like she is normal. Finally, Paisley feels like she is alive. Not wrapped in a bubble.
Jaggar and Paisley have an instant connection - but they fight it. Neither one wants to want the other. Jaggar convinces himself he doesn't need the distraction. Paisley doesn't want to hurt Jaggar.
Things I loved:
- No insta-love. They both fought their feelings for each other and decided to try to be friends. Hah!
- The chemistry between Paisley and Jaggar was intense. They definitely BURNED for each other.
- I also loved the group of friends.
- I loved seeing Ember & Josh from book 1!!
- Loved seeing the characters grow throughout the book. Jaggar is so much more than a hot body. Paisley learns to stand up to her mom.
Things I did not like.
- 100000 names. In the beginning, it was really hard for me to decipher who was who. The military rank is quite confusing for me as I have no experience with it. First names are used, then last names are used - I found myself backing up to make sure I knew who was being talked about.
Loved this love story!!! Highly recommend!!
