My Thoughts - 4 out of 5 Unicorns - I really liked it!!!
***I choose what I read and review based on what intrigues me!!

The cover is beautiful! I love birds of prey! I even volunteered at a rehab center before in Colorado.

This is the 2nd book in the series, and it is for adults only due to the steamy content. I recommend reading the series in order because it does make references to things that happened in the first book.

Zach seems likes he is put together, but he has a past that surprised me. I like Katrina, and she definitely has things together in her life. There is definitely a ton of action in this book, but I think it could have been longer. The resolution was too quick and glossed over details that could have made this book even better.

I recommend this book to the bird shifter fans especially if you hold eagles near and dear to your hearts!

So it has been two years since the first book (not in real time HAHA) so we are now getting Zach and Katrina story.

Zach has to meet Katrina when he sees her. There is something about her that is pulling him to her. These two are mates. The chemistry between these two is there and I loved it. This story is great and I really enjoyed it.

Zach Monson & Katrina.

It’s two years after Seth’s book. [Read them in order.] Zach is 28 and a junior in college, studying to be a mechanical engineer.

Despite Seth’s in-the-midst-of-a-crisis discovery, Zach has yet to be able to replicate his older brother’s ability to shift into an eagle. Seth reported hearing his dead mother’s voice when he first shifted, telling him he could now shift because he found the girl that was now his fiancée, Jules Morgan.

Since Zach has no time for traditional dating between his studies & work as a residential assistant, he’s taken to speed dating. And what a colossal failure that is.

So the last place he would expect to find a woman to peek his interest would be the job fair where he was interviewing for potential internships. But there is something about the girl at the MutiGen booth that captures every bit of his attention.

MutiGen is a bioengineering firm, so despite the fact that they are looking for engineers, his engineering background is only a loose fit. He’s studying mechanical engineering “with an emphasis in structural engineering. More skyscrapers and bridges than... biomechanics.”

But truly, he approached her booth more to flirt than in the hopes of an internship. He got his date, and later an invitation to interview after all. Though that invitation was more a ploy to get him in their facility. Because someone saw Seth shift and they want to find out what makes Zach tick.

This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

Prey, book two in the Copper Mesa Eagles series.
Zach Monson has been trying to shift into an eagle like his brother for the past two years with no luck, so when all else fails, he thinks that finding a mate is the key to success. Katrina is a female biomechanical engineer working for a company called MultiGen who gets recruited by her boss Pete to attend a student job fair, telling Katrina that they are looking for a man who can shift into an eagle, and hoping to use her to attract Zach to their booth. When the pair meet, the attraction is instant, making Zach wonder if she is the one he’s been looking for. When the pair grow closer, Pete uses their new relationship to lure Zach to MultiGen where he plans to use Zach’s DNA. When Katrina discovers Pete’s plans, she has only one choice, saving Zach before it’s too late. Will Katrina be able to get to Zach in time? And will the pair be able to stay together when she discovers the truth?

This is Zach and Katrina's story . This is book two in the series and no you do not need to read the first to understand the story . It is begins with Zach going to a job fair and when he first sees Katrina he starts feeling something for her but not sure what and knows that he has to talk with her . Katrina is working with her boss Pete at the job fair and notices that he is putting a certain file apart from the others and has made a phone call while Zach is still standing there so she is the one to deal with him . There is a strong attraction between these two as they meet and start learning more about each other . This is a short story but is still very good . I received this ARC and just wanted to leave my thoughts on it .

This is the second book in the Copper Mesa Eagles series. After reading the first one, I wasn't sure how I felt about eagle shifters. Well, I'm not sure shifter is the correct word for what these brothers do. In any case I really liked Zach's story. There is a lot more action and we meet Zach's eagle earlier on. And even though it is still a short story that you can read in an afternoon, you don't feel cheated. You still get a complete story. I can't wait to read the third brother's book. We haven't met him yet, but have heard little snip-its about him in the first two books so he intrigues me.

So now we know Eagle-shifters are real.
And there is more than one of them. Unfortunately some shady, greedy people know too. They are setting up a trap to get at Zack, one of the Eagle brothers, to "study" him in a laboratory.
What they don't know is that without a "catalyst" none of them can take flight.
Unbeknownst to them, the have bated the trap they set for Zack with just the right person.
What follows is a mad dash through labs and basements, highways and desert.
And, ... you guessed it, right?
A HEA and a little surprise as a bonus.

2 years have passed since the eldest brothers first shifted into a huge eagle, two years of them trying to figure out why he isn't shifting. his mothers words don't ring true for him, that a woman is the key to them being able to shift.
28 years old and finally finishing his engineering degree, he sets out to the jobfair on campus. dressed up in a suit that basically emptied out his savings account, briefcase filled with resumes, he has no high hopes. his spirit is lifted when he sees that for once he isn't the odd one out despite being 4 to 5 years older then most of them.
then a woman catches his eye and he stands there frozen, his soul waking up like it recognized its other half. he gets a one track mind, he has to meet her, talk to her, anything just to get close to her.
katrina is a bit bored as she's used as a nice front to lure in potential candidates for a summer internship. her boss is acting a bit strangely and each prospective candidate is quickly evaluated and more or less dismissed. her boss is looking for a specific person, a person related to someone having been seen shifting into a bird.
as the two meet there is that instant spark and katrina finds herself agreeing to things she normally wouldn't agree with. a stern look from her boos makes her wrap up the conversation but not before zach manages to squeeze a date out of her for the following day.
she takes him to a remote and derelict hotel, the view from the rooftop is worth trespassing for. up there it's like they are in their own little cocoon with nothing that can come between them, unless it's blue and red lights and the strong arm of the law.
this unfortunate interruption doesn't do much to dampen the mood that was growing between them and before long things really get hot and bothered.
the day after is mostly awkward but both had things to do so zach went home and hoped to have a nice day to relax. she's called in to work and told she's to welcome zach to the facilities and show him around. and this is where she starts suspecting a lot more is going on and she has to make a choice which way to go!

it's a bit of lead in but trust me, this is nothing compared to the actual story, the sparks are flying all over the place, their feelings genuine, their past troubled and complicated. i really loved this second book in the series and can hardly wait what's in store for brother number 3! roxie, write faster * wink * i like that they're all connected in someway and still you can read them on their own without feeling left out, enough is told to make up a general idea of what has happened to stay in the loop.

a must read!

Prey
Copper Mesa Eagles Book 2
by Roxie Noir , Amelie Hunt
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I received a ARC of this book to read and to give my honest opinion in a review.

I was so excited to read this book and it exceeded everything I thought it would be and more. It's a FANTASTIC Read!! I really hated for this story to end. But if you enjoy reading shifter romance than this will be one of your favorite as it is mine.
I have read both books in this series, they are so awesome! Believe me when I say this is a spectacular read and that I couldn't help but be excited to read it. OMG! I couldn’t putting it down, I finished reading this book in one evening. I was already in love with all of the characters and I loved how the characters are developed. If you read these books, you will love just how fantastic they are. WOW! Book 2 Prey is just as Spectacular as Book 1. Roxie and Amelia pen is golden, they are truly gifted and so very talented and creative. Again I couldn't put my tablet down, I enjoyed the storyline so much. From the first page to the last I was memorized. The characters are engaging, fabulous and fantastic. The dialogue is passionate, realistic, and you will love the interaction between the main characters, the chemistry is scorching hot and they leap off the page with life that's so real. The scenes description are vivid, beautiful picturesque and dynamic with lots passion.
If you missed the first book in this series. You will want to read it, each book can be read as a standalone but after reading one you will be excited to read the other one.

Zach Monson is a wereEagle and the baby of the Monson family he got his first degree at a junior college and now he is engineering student who is looking for a job. He explains himself as a non transitional student because after a few years of messing around he decided to go back to college. Zach spots Katrina at a job fair. He has no idea she is his mate. But he is immediately attracted to her.

Katrina is a Biochemical Engineer, but because of how attractive she is her boss insists she be a part of the job fair. At job fair Katrina notice a tall gorgeous well dress guy coming to her booth. Katrina is drawn to Zach and has serious doubts about what her boss want him for.

This is a SPECTACULAR Read! This story will give you a feeling of happiness and If you love shifter romance this is definitely a fabulous choice for your TBR list.

What can I say, Roxie Noir is a an awesome writer. She just knows what to write and she writes it. In this second book of the Copper Mesa Eagles she takes the youngest brother and weaves a story that completely aligns with the end of the first book. She grabs your attention at the beginning of the book when Zack the baby of the Monson family is looking for a summer job and runs into Katrina. Then she holds your attention through out the end of the book when Zack has to rescue Katrina from her crazy boss. Then you are left dumbfounded by the amazing sex scenes where Zack and Katrina realize there is a connection between the two of them. As any good author would do, Roxie leaves you panting and dying to read the next book in the series. I promise you will laugh, beg them to run faster, want to beat someone up, then last you will find out how good sex can be read in a book. I totally recommend this book for ages 18 and up.

Zack Monson is the youngest of three brothers. He has decided after years of plundering around to go back to college and do his best to find out why his brother Seth can shift into an amazing Golden Eagle and he can't. And nothing is going to stop him, except maybe the gorgeous and curvy Biochemical Engineer, Katrina that he finds at a job fair. At first sight Zack realizes when he sees her for the first time that he has to have her in anyway he can in bed and out.

Katrina knows that she shouldn't go out with Zack because it is unprofessional since he is a prospective employee. The big problem is she can’t seem to say no to Zach. Not only is he tallbut he is hot, smart, and extremely sexy. She knows that it is hard to find men like that, because they just don’t come around every day. Katrina just didn't see anything wrong with one date, just one kiss. What can it hurt? It doesn't take Katrina long to fall completely for Zach and his charms. Nor does it take Zack long to realize that outside forces are after his family secret, and this outside force can put Katrina in danger.

As I stated in the beginning there are Ancient shifter secrets involved as well as amazing love and mind boggling sex. There are unforeseen threats at every twist and turn in this tale. It makes you wonder if Zach and Katrina are strong enough to save each other and their love, or will they both become PREY? ARC free book for an honest review.

Because I can’t stop myself when I’m around you. 5 GOLDEN FEATHERS

Because I feel this pull toward you that I’ve never felt toward anyone before, not ever. WOW!! What an exceptionally WINGTASTIC story!! I loved how sweet Zach was, the naughty thoughts they both had and there is this one part where Zach is *mumble mumble mutter mutter mumble* and I laughed so hard at the things that were coming out of his mouth! HILAAAARIOUS! (note – spoilers were removed for the safety of this reviewers personal “No Spoilers Ever” vow. wink) I really loved Seth & Jules' story, so I was convinced that any & all books that came after it, were not going to measure up or even come remotely close to being as great. I am so happy that I'm wrong I could soar!! I ABSO-FLYING- LUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE Zach & Katrina's story!! In fact, I love Prey even MORE than Predator!! ssshhh, don't tell them that though, okay? I think it is completely TALONSOME that this book takes place so long after book 1, because it means we get Jules & Seth updates!! wink That is one of the main reasons why I love to read a series! I get to catch up with my friends! I think that is was pretty cool that they are in their later twenties too, it seems to make it more real, more relatable. I love the wide range of emotions both in the story itself & the ones I felt while reading it. Emotions like nervous, happy, tender, sweet, hot, Hot, HOT, fear, white hot rage, all but murderous, and more. I loved the almost poetic romantic thoughts & feelings, especially when it was from Zach's point of view in the beginning! Totally an "aaaaawwww" moment that turned to me being oh so envious, so jealous of Katrina! Once again Roxie has used her phenomenal TALONT to craft one EAGLETACULAR story that held me ENRAPTORED, captivated & spellbound from beginning to end all while living the story through the characters eagle eyes! I TRULY LOVE THIS WINGDERFUL & TALONTASTIC book & series!! I LOVE Roxie's books so much that my heart soars every time there is a new release! Okay, that is a tad too corny, but it doesn't make it any less true!! The Copper Mesa Eagles series is one FEATHERTASTIC series that I for one cannot get enough of! So much so, that I have already read Predator book 1 at least 4 times now, and Prey twice!! NOPE! Make that 3 times now! (I read it again yesterday!) Hopefully I will have the chance to re-read them in time for the next book release!

PREY-Copper Mesa Eagles-Book 2-A captivating suspenseful romantic story.

This story focuses on; KATRINA, a curvaceous, audacious, independent, strawberry-blond beauty; ZACH; a heart-stirring gorgeous, charismatic, powerful eagle shifter,

What you'll find in this story; a cast of impressive and engaging characters, superb banter, fabulous story-line, picturesque and dynamic scene descriptions, pent-up rage, emotions spiral, gripping suspense, intrigue, spine-chilling danger, action, earth shattering passionate romance, and a fabulous conclusion.

Zach, at twenty-eight is a college student majoring in engineering and goes to the college job fair where he sees Katrina working the booth for MultiGen; a biomechanical and biomedical engineering firm. He becomes quite smitten with Katrina, and though he is more interested in skyscrapers and bridges he applies for the paid internship they are offering. The two have an enchanting date of mischief and plan on seeing each other again. Horrific danger lurks in the shadows and is coming after Zach.

FANTASTIC well written creative read by a truly gifted author. The interaction between the characters is fabulous as they spring to life with the intriguing plot, fantastic dialogue, and vivid scene descriptions. The chemistry between Katrina and Zach is convincing and their romance is blazing hot. Katrina’s lion-hearted persona make her a most valiant heroine. If you treasure shifter romance with danger and sizzling romance this is an excellent book for your library. {I was gifted a copy of this book, and this is my completely honest review}. In the world of shifter romance the possibilities are endless and always fascinating. Without reservations I recommend this book.

Prey is the second book in the Copper Mesa Eagles series. And it was epic.

We start a few years after Predator (book 1), where Zach is 28 and a non-traditional university student. He can't shift, and we learn how that happens which is something I felt was missing from book 1. At a job fair, he meets Katrina, a biochem engineer who is manning the booth with her slightly crazy boss. Her boss is there specifically to find Zach after a video of his brother shifting has surfaced.
Katrina and Zach are attracted to each other immediately, with Zach seeing something special in her. For Katrina, in the back of her mind is the knowledge that her boss is up to something shady, but she really likes Zach. After a date where a lot of shenanigans were had, Zach is invited to her company to interview. And as we all know, crazy scientists are gonna do crazy stuff...

Katrina is like many women in the workforce, where she doesn't get the recognition she deserves and really struggles as a woman in a male-dominated environment. Because of this, as much as some of her decisions suck, you can kind of understand them, because it's easy to relate to her.
Zach is a sweetheart, who isn't as squeaky clean as the first book made him out to be. And as much as I love heroes who are super sweet, it does make him more fun to read about.
Together they had some incredibly funny, steamy and sweet moments. They were super fun to read about and this book really filled in the missing bits from book 1, which was awesome.
Prey was a great read and I can't wait for the next one, because that preview at the end just opened up a whole new mystery.

Prey is the second book in the Copper Mesa Eagles series and follows the youngest brother. Zach is an untraditional student, but like all others, once he’s done with college, he just wants to find a job, find a girlfriend, and maybe learn how to shift into his inner animal. Katrina is a female engineer working for a company that’s doing good, but her boss recently has been coming off as shady and fixated on wanting Zach. While Zach and Katrina feel an instant attraction and have a fun first date, when he shows up to an interview at her company, something just rings as wrong. When Zach’s life is in danger, what lengths will Katrina go to try to save him?

I am really enjoying this series so far and this book was full of a little mystery and suspense, a lot of passion and connection, and the right amount of Zach and Katrina saving each other! I loved Zach! He seemed like such a good guy, wanting more than he used to have, super smart, and willing to do a lot for the connection he felt with Katrina! Loving her job, but never feeling secure left Katrina exhausted, but I loved that she went with her gut in a lot of things, was resourceful when it came to rescuing, and I loved her naughty streaks, like on their first date! They made a really solid team together. I liked that these books kind of end with a happily for now ending, but we got a brief glimpse into the couple from the previous book to see how they’re doing, too! I liked the plot line of this story, I liked that there’s intrigue built up for the next book, and I already can’t wait to read it!

Zach is a mature student and he's hiding more secrets than your average student! Two years ago his brother fell off a cliff and turned into an eagle. He's tried falling off their roofand various other stunts but no feathery alter ego for him. The only thing he thinks can bring out his shifter side is to have a girlfriend - it worked for his brother.

Poor guy tries speed dating - so not for him and decides to concentrate on getting himself an internship for the summer. When he attends a local job fair - bam his libido kicks into overdrive when he sees the lovely Katrina.

Katrina, one of the few female engineers at MutiGen has been trotted out to pull in the jobhunters yet again. She is smart but all her colleagues see is a curvy, cute female to lure in male students. Except they seem to have a particular guy in mind - Zach. She can't help feeling goosebumps when he's around and one little date can't hurt. He's not a colleague after all.

But when things go sideways after showing him around the MutiGen facility, Katrina and Zach end up on the run and unsure who to trust, except each other.

Twists and turns, homicidal bosses, leaked info on eagle shifters - brilliant, fast flowing story. The characters really zing along and off the page. Zach is a lovable nerd with a hunky face and body and Katrina can see the real him not just the pretty packaging. It was great seeing his brother and his mate and catching up on all the Obsidian news!!!

Intriguing Shifter Tale!!

Zach is a non-traditional college student who at 28 has returned to college to finish his degree. While at a college job fair looking for a summer job he is following his mapped out strategy for which company is most likely to hire him and has the best reputation when the booth at MultiGen – more accurately Katrina manning the booth – attracts his attention.

Katrina is a biomechanical engineer, and is always “stuck” going to fairs. She sees the handsome young man approach – and realizes as he signs up, that his is the name her boss had told her to watch for. Her crazy boss wants a hair or some other DNA sample to follow up on rumors Zach’s brother can turn into an eagle. Kat is skeptical, but wants to see Zach again.

When Zach comes for his interview Kat realizes there is more going on than her boss admitted, and puts herself at risk to rescue Zach from her crazy boss. On the run these two cannot fight the unusual attraction they each feel toward one another. I enjoy a heroine who can kick-butt. The scene where they are escaping while Zach is drugged is quite humorous. A quick, sexy read!

Another Roxie Noir Hit! I thought Copper Mesa Eagles Book 1 was great. WOW book 2 is even better than one! It had me glued to my kindle from the first page til the end. Oh WOW image you are out with your brother and you are scared to death his is going to fall to his death and death and die but no he in fact changes into a huge golden eagle. How cool would that be! Now you want that to happen to you. But no matter what you do it just will not happen. So you and your brother think you have it figured out...MUST be all about the GIRL.

This book is about Zack and his "girl". Zack is still in college at 28...yep one of those late bloomer you could say and he is applying for summer internships all over town. While applying he happens to meet Katrina. He sees Katrina and he did not care where she worked he would scoop poop if he had to to work where she was. BUT in fact she is an engineer at a company that happens to want to harvest something from Zach. What she has no idea her job is to be the honeypot.

This book is very good and not only it is a a suspense and it is very much a suspense it is also a romance too. Hot one at that. It also has some deeper thoughts in there for all of us. Yes Roxie we got it. I received this book for an honest review. Grab it read it !!

Prey is the second book in the Copper Mesa Eagles series. It's Zach's story. He is the youngest brother of the Monson boys. It is a stand-alone book that connects with other books in the series through some shared characters and has an HEA with no cliffhangers. I throughly enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading more from this author in the future. I've already read the other book is this series and can't wait to get started on reading the next one. It's not necessary to read the other book in this series first or even at all but I would definitely recommend doing that. I would also recommend this book to fans of paranormal series, especially ones interested in shifter romances.

Synopsis:

Zach Monson is finally going to college at the age of 28. As a non-traditional student he's having a little bit of girl trouble. He's too old for his classmates and women his age are put off by the fact that he's still in college. Then he sees her at the college job fair...

Katrina is working for MutiGen as a Bio-mechanical Engineer. Her and her boss are working a local college fair but they have an alternative motive for being there. They are looking for someone and that someone is Zach.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the second book in the Copper Mesa Eagles series and tells the story of Zach and Katrina. Zach is the brother of Seth, who we met in the first book, Predator. Zach is a 28 year old college student who is finishing his degree in engineering. When Zach goes to a job fair, he sees Katrina working one of the booths and has to go and meet her. Katrina is an engineer and is at the fair with her boss, Pete. Her Boss is looking for Zach, but Doesn't say why. When Zach and Katrina meet, there is an instant connection and Zach asks Katrina out. Katrina agrees to go out with Zach and they have a great night. They have a great connection and the next day when Pete calls Katrina into work, he wants to know about her date. Katrina thinks it is odd he is asking, but Zach is coming in for an interview. Pete has other motives for wanting to see Zach and Katrina begins to wonder if Zach could be in danger. I really like this series and this book was really fast paced and had a bit of everything. i really liked Zach and thought he knew Katrina was his mate from the beginning. I love that Katrina was smart and protective of Zach. They had great chemistry and were great together. Another great one.

Prey is the second Copper Mesa Eagle shapeshifter story in the series. It stands alone but I highly recommend reading Predator first because there is an ongoing storyline taking place and it continues into this story too. Zach is the youngest Monson son. He's now 28 and working on finishing up his engineering degree. He wants to focus on his career but would like to meet someone special too and that happens to him at a job fair. Katrina is working at this job fair because her boss Pete made it mandatory. As one of her company, MultiGen's few female engineers, she's never been treated as an equal at the workplace and she's fed up. However the bright spot to her day was meeting this handsome engineering student that is also 28 so she accepts his invitation to go on a date. Zach thinks that things are really looking great, an attractive woman is going out with him and MultiGen is interested in him for a summer internship. What neither of them realizes is that MultiGen has big plans for Zach and they aren't good! If you want to know more, then I recommend reading this fun, sexy, action packed paranormal romance. It's written from dual POV and it's a quick, exciting journey!

Zach and Katrina are attracted to each other right away. He is at a recruiting fair at at college and she is with an engineering firm.

He doesn't know that the company has some other plans than an internship. They want to find out about his family's ability to shift into an eagle.

I really like Zach. He is a nice guy and very honest about his past mistakes. He really opens up to Katrina about the years he spent before getting on track and starting college. They have a sweet romance and a great first date.

Katrina is a nice woman and a great scientist who feels marginalized by the men at her company. She feels like a token woman there to get attention and credit for the company recruiting women. When she realizes Zach may be in some danger, she risks it all to help him. She is really brave even when she is really scared.

It is a pretty quick read and does not require that you read the first book but it would be a good introduction to the story. The other brother will be the focus of the next book.

I received a copy in return for a honest review.

Zach Monson is a 28 year old junior studying structural engineering at Northern Utah University. He is what you would call a “non-traditional” student. Hoping to find a job for the summer, he goes to a job fair. While he’s there, he sees a woman he just has to meet. Never has he had this kind of a reaction to a woman just from looking at her.

Katrina (No last name) works for MutiGen, a cutting-edge biomechanical and biomedical engineering firm, as one of the biomechanical engineers. She was recruited by her boss, Pete, to go with him to a job fair and set up a booth to see if they could find a certain person who is attending Northern Utah University. The story he gave her was so out there that she couldn’t believe it. A man who could turn into an eagle? No way could that be real.

This was an entertaining book. I enjoyed the humor, light heartedness, and the drama. There was chemistry between the two and their interactions were fun and sexy.

“I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.”

Prey, book two in the Copper Mesa Eagles series by Roxie Noir, under the pen name Dakota West.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Zach Monson has been trying to shift into an eagle like his brother for the past couple of years with no luck, as well as being a 28-year-old junior studying structural engineering at Northern Utah University. He is what you would call a “non-traditional” student. Hoping to find a job for the summer, he goes to a job fair where he meets Katrina.

Katrina is a biomechanical engineer who works for MutiGen and was recruited to go with her boss to work at the job fair. Her crazy boss is hoping that Zach would show up at their booth, because he wants some type of DNA sample to follow up on the rumors of Zach’s brother turning into an eagle. While Katrina is skeptical she wants to see Zach again. When Zach shows up for an interview at her company, something just doesn’t seem right about this. What neither of them realize is that MutiGen has plans for Zach and they aren't the good kind!

Little Brother Finds His Wings

Zach and Katrina's story has a bit of suspense and action thrown into the mix as well as quite a few scenes that had me laughing out loud. After his big brother shifted into an eagle in the first book, Zach repeatedly tried to do the same. But after many failed attempts, he remembered both his mom and his brother saying the woman unlocked the gift. When he finally leaves Obsidian and goes to college, he also sets out to find a woman through speed dating. Just when he gives up, he sets his sight on Katrina. Katrina is forced by her boss to attend college job fairs because she's a woman and that attracts more people to their booth. But her boss has a secret agenda and is actively looking for Zach. Katrina is unwilling forced to go along with his plans until she can't put up with it anymore. There was great depth to both Zach and Katrina and I really enjoyed their story. Can't wait to read about the final, and mysteriously absent brother in the next book!

This review is from: Prey (Copper Mesa Eagles Book 2) (Kindle Edition)
I received a ARC of this book to read and to give my honest opinion in a review. This is the second book in the Copper Mesa Eagles Series. In the first book of the series Predator, we got to know about Seth Zach's older brother and that he's an Eagle Shifter and Jules Morgan his mate; now in Prey, it's Zach's turn for an awesome adventure. Zach older brother Seth discovered the family secret that they can turn into giant eagles. Book 2 is about Zach Monson, a 28 year old junior studying structural engineering at Northern Utah University also he's tall, sexy, dark haired gorgeous Eagle Shifter. While he’s at the university he found a sexy, short and curvy beautiful Engineer named Katrina he just has to meet. I really loved Katrina and Zach's story. Sorry not telling you any more, you have to go and get the book, it's worth it!
