Tempting Ecstasy is an erotic fantasy that can be read as a standalone. However, I recommend reading the series in order to get a better idea of the story as there are a lot of characters and background information to wrap your head around.
This book is about Conn, a Guardian that can turn into a wolf, and Dacia. They can't fight the attraction, and the majority of the book is about them having sex everywhere.
I'm a bit more interested in some other characters in the series, but I'm glad that I had the chance to read this.

If you loved Spotless, you'll love reading Still. The stories are definitely different, but they have similar amounts of humor and cheesiness that only Camilla Monk can deliver. I laughed. I cried. And now I can't stop thinking about book 2.
All the characters are interesting and bizarre. For example, Emma's ally in Rome is a sexy blind hobo....

The only thing I'm a bit confused about is the limitations of Emma's power. What can she touch and not touch? Hopefully book 2 will answer my questions.

I really enjoyed this series, but Heart of Fire is probably my least favorite out of the three books. I was expecting to see some powerful scenes involving the Beta Team, but the majority of the book was about Cat's insecurities. Then add all the declarations of love by Griffin... to the point where it just didn't seem fitting.
I was more excited to read about the other characters: Carver, Bellanca, and Ianthe. Hopefully they all get their own books soon!
Although I think this book didn't tie everything nicely, the overall series is solid. Amanda Bouchet does a wonderful job creating a world full of heroes and monsters.

In Breath of Fire the Beta Team needs to find a way to protect their borders, while they confront a terrible tyrant. The journey isn't simple and they don't know if they'll come out alive.... but they can try.
Just like the previous book, the story is fun, steamy, and action packed. Cat is still reckless and her body takes some serious beatings, but she takes it all in like an Olympian. Other characters also shine and come into light. I can't wait to pick up the next book!

I have some mixed feelings about Paper Fools. There are some elements I absolutely adored, and there are others that I didn't care too much for.
The story takes place in the modern world, and the Greek gods entertain themselves by having competitions involving humans.
Aphrodite is the next goddess to play, and her opponent is Apollo. Aphrodite hasn't lost in years and doesn't plan on losing anytime soon. Especially since Apollo is the reason why her lover was killed.
The humans involved in the game are Lex and Dean. They're both damaged and don't know how to handle relationships. The attraction between then is strong, but Lex can't do much because her boyfriend is the drummer in Dean's band.
The majority of the issue in the story for Lex and Dean is the idea of cheating and having commitment issues. I really like the two lovers, but to me their relationship wasn't the star of the book. I was more interested in the gods and goddesses.
The idea of Greek gods competing against each other in the modern world is a unique idea. And it is probably the reason why I'm rounding my stars up. I loved the mythology, and I loved reading the background stories.
I'm interested in reading the next books, but I hope the human subjects in the next game are more interesting.

The story is told in Alena's point of view. A young woman that constantly follows rules... until she gets a deadly disease and later gets left alone to die in a hospital.
As she prepares for her final days, she gets a chance to live one more time. But she has to turn into something unnatural.
The setting is similar to X-Men. Normal humans don't like unfamiliar people, so everyone is segregated. Supernaturals have no rights and are assigned to live in designated areas.
As Alena navigates the new world, she makes new friends and enemies.
The pace is very fast, and there's never a dull moment. I enjoyed the humor, action, and light romance, and I can't wait to read book 2!

The group run into so many problems, and no one can be trusted. The Valkyries are compromised, a wolf keeps hunting Solina, and old grudges emerge. This story moves like a freight train.
I absolutely loved this 2nd book. Questions get answered, but the plot thickens and more problems come up. Just like Midnight Burning, I read this story quickly. The action scenes and bits and pieces of romance kept me glued to the pages.
The only issue I had with this book was my memory. I read the first book about a year ago, and I had a difficult time trying to remember all the characters and plot. So much happened in book 1, I was hitting my head a couple times. But almost everything came back to me as I read on. I can't wait for book 3. If you are looking for an active fantasy with light romance, this is the perfect book to pick up.

I loved this much better than Book 2. Rain is a woman that has been rejected constantly in her life. Disappointment is nothing new to her. Being mated was something to be cherished, but Dorian didn't want to be with her. He believed that she deserved a life without his failures and pain.
The mating frenzy is driving them both crazy until they can't control themselves. Like the previous books in the series, it gets seriously HOT and dirty. We also get to finally witness the chemistry between Vane and Brianne. Their story contains a lot of unknown surprises.
Although these books can be read as a standalone, they are all connected. To fully enjoy Guardians of the Realms, these books should be read in order.

Sera and Talon fall in love almost instantly. Talon's past holds him back from getting too attached to Sera, but she like a drug that he can't get enough of.
This was action packed, and I loved all the characters involved in the story.

I love how even though Arwan's soul gets trapped, we see his character better than we did in the first book. He is so thrilled to take Brook home. My heart was also going out to Bran. There are a lot of confused feelings here. I don't want to ruin it, but this is a must read. It's not erotic, but there are still plenty of hot moments. I can't wait to read the next book!

Or maybe it was Alyssa that didn't really charm me. She is your typical insecure girl. When imagining her and Gregoire together, it just didn't work in my head because she sounded like a little girl.
Sam and Erik's relationship is also included in this story. I loved it when they brought out their animals! But the bonding ceremonies are starting to get repetitive and I think I might need a break.
There's lots of sex. You won't be disappointed in that area!

But the story isn't just about them. There is a war going on. So be ready for some good fighting scenes! I enjoyed reading about the moments where Alex was kicking ass. Although she is insecure about her powers, everyone can see that she is not to be messed with.
