I knew right from the beginning of this book that The Possibility of Somewhere was going to be a favorite of mine. Ash and Eden are 4 stars. Or 4-1/2.
I knew right from the beginning of this book that The Possibility of Somewhere was going to be a favorite of mine. Ash and Eden are total opposites and both vying for valedictorian. You know what happens when they have to work together on a class project. Sparks fly. Trouble is, no one can know about it.
I loved this whole storyline. Enemies to "lovers" is one of my favorite tropes and the way Day told this story was so awesome. I also loved Ash and Eden. Both are strong characters, and he's pretty swoony. I loved that Eden was not a doormat and stood up for herself. The pacing of this story is awesome, too, and when I got to the end, I just wanted more.
The Possibility of Somewhere reminds me why I love reading YA books. It's swoony and real, and I can't wait to read more from Julia Day.
After reading the first book in the Cottonbloom Series, Then He Kissed Me quickly became one of my most-anticipa4-1/2 stars. Or 5. I really loved it.
After reading the first book in the Cottonbloom Series, Then He Kissed Me quickly became one of my most-anticipated reads of the year. I really loved Kiss Me That Way, and I could hardly wait for Nash's story.
Trentham didn't disappoint.
Gah, what can I even say about this story? I'll try to compose myself.
Tallulah (aka Tally) and Nash were BFFs growing up until Nash had to move away following the death of his mother. Nash and Tally lost touch, but now, almost twenty years later, Nash is back, teaching History at the local university and totally just as sweet and even swoonier than before.
"Tallulah Fournette. How could I ever forget you?"
I loved the history between these two, and I just loved how their relationship progressed.
"I want to kiss you." The words fell between them like it was a done deal, yet he moved more like a predator, slowly, cautiously, giving her a fighting chance at escape. "Not a peck on the cheek like when we were eight, but an honest-to-goodness, grown-up, man-woman kiss."
This was a sweet, fast-paced read without too much drama and no one acting childish and stupid. I loved every moment, and I can't wait for Sawyer's story next.
No doubt about it, Laura Trentham is easily one of the most-under-appreciated romance authors of her time. She consistently delivers crazy hot romances between likable, authentic characters who have realistic storylines and make you want to root for them the whole way through. If you haven't read anything from her, this series--this book--is a great place to start. -- For more reviews and bookish talk, visit our blog at Pretty Sassy Cool.

I have started writing this review a thousand times, only to just delete everything and start all over. Because it's so amazing, I know my words won't be good enough to describe it. Roni Loren has quickly become one of my favorite authors, and Loving You Easy reminds me of just why.
The characters here are well-developed and so sexy. Cora is very relatable and Hayes and Ren are smoking hot. Hayes just blew me away with all his sexiness. And Ren? Damn. They were all amazing--individually and as a group. Fast-paced and intense, this book takes you on a ride that has unexpected twists and turns as well as the joy of falling in love. Like I said, I can barely string my thoughts together, but what I can say is if you love ménage stories, Loving You Easyhas to be at the top of your list.
4-1/2 stars. But I'm rounding up because Finn was here again. And glorious.

Okay, you might not know this about me but I ♥ Tracy Deebs. I especially love her alter-ego Tracy Wolff (or maybe Deebs is the alter-ego, I'm not sure how these things work) because she consistently brings crazy hot characters with swoon and banter and fresh storylines. So I have to admit that I was most looking forward to this book in the Creative HeArts series. And it's my fave so far!
International pop sensation Dahlia is undercover at NextGen Academy as a regular student (at a performing arts high school). Think Hannah Montana, here, but slightly less kooky and without Billy Ray. She's on a mission to take control of her own life and wants to get emancipated from her overbearing father/manager. She overhears hottie Keegan talking about a girl he's been crushing on and decides to help play matchmaker, not knowing she's the object of his affections. As the lines between Dahlia and Keegan blur, can they fess up to their secrets before they crash and burn?
I really liked this book. I loved the quick pacing and the banter. I loved Keegan and thought he was such a sweetie.
"Okay, so as I was saying... You just walked Dream Girl to the door and she smiles up at you, bats her eyes a little." She does an exaggerated eyelash bat that is both ridiculous and incredibly endearing all at the same time. "What do you do?"
Her hair had fallen over her left eye and he reached up, smoothed it back so he could see her face. As he did, he brushed his palm against her cheek just to feel the softness of her skin.
"That's--" Her voice broke and she cleared her thraot a couple of times before continuing, "That's good. That's really good. Now you should tell me I'm beautiful. I mean, Dream Girl. You should tell Dream Girl that she's beautiful."
He cupped her cheek in his hand, ran his thumb gently over her full lower lip. "you're so beautiful." His voice ached with sincerity.
...
He waited for her next instructions, but they were more than a little slow in coming, so he finally asked, "Now what?"
She looked up at him with dazed eyes that had heat spreading through his whole body. She swallowed again, took a couple of deep, shaky breaths. And then whispered, "Now you kiss me."
"Just like that?"
::le sigh:: I love these two. I also loved having Finn (and the whole Creative HeArts gang) here. From the first moment we see Finn (which is early on), I was so excited. I don't know why I love him so much, but I can't get enough.
"Everyone will be so busy staring at me that they won't even notice you."
"Wow." I burst out laughing. "Arrogant much?"
"It's not arrogant if it's the truth. I'm Mia McCain's son. Right now, I'm the hottest ticket in this place."
My favorite of the series, The Secret Life of a Dream Girl is a fast, fun read with characters you won't be able to get enough of.
Why do I keep forgetting how much I love Marina Adair's books? She blows me away every single time with sexy, swoony characters, terrific 4-1/2 stars.
Why do I keep forgetting how much I love Marina Adair's books? She blows me away every single time with sexy, swoony characters, terrific storylines, and chemistry that's off the charts. Last Kiss of Summer just might be her best yet (except Be Mine Forever because Trey Deluca).
After Kennedy's boyfriend cheats on her, Kennedy packs up and moves across the country to start over in her grandmother's hometown. She's planning to buy the bakery of one of her grandmother's friends. Luke Callahan sweeps in, intending to buy the orchard of apples that Kennedy needs to make her bakery a success.
Don't let the cheesy summary fool you--this story has substance and swoon. Kennedy and Luke have great chemistry and their banter kept me smiling through most of this book. I loved them together. I also loved the other characters in this town and can't wait to see who the next book will be about--fingers crossed that it's Hawk!
A promising start to a delicious new series, Last Kiss of Summer by Marina Adair brings swoon, sweetness, and fun.
The Lost in Oblivion series is one of my favorite series and always quenches my thirst for hot rock stars. I was so excited when I 4-1/2 stars.

The Lost in Oblivion series is one of my favorite series and always quenches my thirst for hot rock stars. I was so excited when I found out that Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott were writing a spin-off series, this time focusing on the band Warning Sign, who is opening up for Oblivion. The series starts off running with the band's manager, Lila (you remember her, right? EEP!), warning guitarist Michael Shawcross to clean up his act. We've heard that story before, right? But this time the bad boy meets single mom Chloe and sparks fly immediately. An accidental marriage, some drama, lots of hot hot sex, and Michael is trying to convince Chloe that maybe they're MTB.
I loved pretty much everything in this book, beginning with seeing the guys (and girls) from Oblivion. They're some of my favorite couples, so I love that Quinn and Elliott are (sort of) continuing the series. You already know I'm going to say that I loved Michael. He was swoony and sweet, yet still a badass rock star. He's definitely alpha and damn--so hot! And it doesn't hurt that this is the guy the authors envisioned as Michael:
His chemistry with Chloe practically lit my kindle on fire, and the moments with Chloe's kid made me love him even more. I liked Chloe, too. She has a past to deal with, but she wasn't bratty or dramatic. I found her character to be authentic and relatable, which is almost rare. :)
Did I mention that this book is hot?
"What I regret most is not remembering this part. That moment before I entered you. Tongue, fingers, cock." He opened his eyes and stared into hers, so deep and dark. "Kissing you nearly killed me. Imagining I missed out on recalling this..." Easing his hand between her legs, he squeezed, eliciting her gasp. "Next time, I'm going to fucking take notes."
"You need a notepad? Maybe a pen?" Her teasing questions between their quick, hot kisses made him even more mental.
"Oh, Red, I have a canvas right here." He scraped his callused thumb under the waistband of her jeans and she whimpered. "And I can paint you too."
"You're a talented man."
"You have no idea. Maybe you need a reminder, too." He moved back and crooked his finger, inviting her on his lap. "Get on me."
With chemistry galore, characters you'll root for, rockstars and more, Bedded Bliss is the perfect jumping off point in a new series that I'm sure will become a favorite.
4-1/2 stars. But I'm rounding up because tropical island and Boone Stryker are the perfect combination.
I love stories that feature rock stars--they're4-1/2 stars. But I'm rounding up because tropical island and Boone Stryker are the perfect combination.
I love stories that feature rock stars--they're some of my faves. And one recurring theme in them is when total playboy rockers fall head over heels for the girls that won't give them the time of day. I"m about that. And this time, it totally makes sense because Trish is a Hollywood starlet.
I've been meaning to read Foster's books before, and I'm so glad I started out with this one. I loved these characters and this storyline. The pacing was great, the chemistry was explosive, and their relationship made sense. I loved getting to know these two--I'm so glad that this story was told in dual POV! Their connection is deep and undeniable. Also, though this story is compelling and had me enthralled from beginning to end, one of my favorite things is that there isn't a bunch of unnecessary drama. They're adults, both with pasts, both with hurdles to overcome, falling in love.
Definitely one of my favorite reads, Chased by Love has it all--fun characters with a steamy connection and a great plot without contrived angst or drama. You absolutely will not be disappointed when you pick this one up. Dew eet.
Yassssss I wanted Wyatt's story since I read the first book in the series, Crash Into Me. He's so tortured and enigma4-1/2 stars. But I'm rounding up.
Yassssss I wanted Wyatt's story since I read the first book in the series, Crash Into Me. He's so tortured and enigmatic--I just couldn't wait. Wolff delivered 100% here, and I'm thrilled.
The summary is pretty spot-on. What you can't tell from reading it is how tortured and realistic Wyatt is. I loved loved loved him. His relationship with Poppy is one of my favorites ever. I just loved them. I also loved that there wasn't crazy drama here. Yes, it was dramatic and heartbreaking and so good. It didn't have any overused drama, though, and I really appreciated that. It's so hot, too. Like, really, really hot.
I know this review is horrible, and that's because I'm still tongue-tied and all twisted up over my love for this book. I feel like we've been waiting for Wyatt's story forever, and I'm so glad he gets a girl like Poppy to love him. They have crazy hot chemistry and a deep relationship that I was rooting for every step of the way. Romance fans, especially rockstar lovers, believe me, you want to read this book.

Samanthe Beck is one of my all-time favorite authors, and I was jumping for joy when I saw she had a new series coming out. Emergency Engagement combines so many of my favorite things, all wrapped up in the sexy goodness on Beck can bring.
I loved the sparks flying between these two before they ever acted on things, but once they did?
I love Beau. I love his name and how sweet he is. I love how strong and virile he is. I love the way he talks to Savannah. I really liked Savannah, too, and their chemistry was off the charts. For real.
The first in a highly anticipated series by Samantha Beck, Emergency Engagement is fast-paced and crazy sexy, and a must-read for any romance lover.
Remember when I said that I thought I might love Grayson a little more than Josh (and Jagger)? Well, I take it back. I love them all, damnit! 5 stars.
Remember when I said that I thought I might love Grayson a little more than Josh (and Jagger)? Well, I take it back. I love them all, damnit! but I just...I want to cry just typing out this review. I love this book so much. I love Josh so much. I love this whole series so much. I didn't know that we were going to get another book about Josh and Ember, even though I started this series after all four books were out. And thank rob for that because as much as they slayed me, and I mean I feel it down to the marrow of my bones, I don't know what I would have done if I would have had to wait between each one. They're all standalone, even this one, but you should read them all, right now.
So. Hallowed Ground takes place a couple of years after Full Measures. Josh is getting deployed and if you remember from Full Measures, Ember lost her father in a war and wasn't a fan that Josh was a soldier. That's putting it mildly. You know, I really loved Ember in this book. She wasn't whiny or defeated like I thought she might be here. She was strong and she refused to give up. I loved Josh, too, but he drove me crazy in some parts. I loved that we got to be with Jagger and Paisley and Grayson (♥) and Sam here, too.
This book is dripping with angst and is definitely an emotional roller coaster. But it's also sweet and realistic and close to my heart. It's a must-read, and I'm anxious to see what's next for Yarros.
I didn't want to love this book as much as I did. I wanted to keep my heart firmly in place with Josh, with a little time for Jagger. But 4-1/2 stars.
I didn't want to love this book as much as I did. I wanted to keep my heart firmly in place with Josh, with a little time for Jagger. But OHMYGOD Grayson!

I don't even know what to say after reading this book. It's so amazing and swoony and sexy and I love this guy and this couple and just...read it, okay?
If that's not enough for you, I guess I can try to string together a few more words. How about some of Grayson's?
“This is not a temporary thing between us. There is no deadline. I. Am. Always. Yours. ... So go ahead and fall. I’ve gotten really good at catching you.”
This book was emotional and sexy, heartbreaking and redeeming. There's some unnecessary drama, but that was overshadowed by the love I felt for these characters and their stories. The Flight & Glory series is a must-read series for New Adult fans.
I loved the first book in this series, Full Measures, and could not wait to dive into this one. Though I didn't like it as much--will I ever love anyone as much as Josh? Jagger gives him a run for his money--I did like it!
The summary for this is pretty spot-on, so I'll just tell you what I loved. Jagger. Godddddd he's so hot and so swoony and just gah. I liked Paisley, too. The pacing of this story is perfect and though there's some drama and angst, it's sweet and swoony and I loved it. Yarros knocked it out of the park again, and I can't wait to get my ::grabbyhands:: on the next book!
Like, I don't even know what to do with myself anymore. This book is just so ...everything.

I'm going to try to keep this spoiler-free. Lily Bloom (yes, that's her name) has delivered an unforgettable eulogy at her father's funeral when she meets a mysterious neurosurgeon, Ryle Kincaid. He makes his physical attraction to her known right away, but lets her know in no uncertain terms that he can only offer up one night. Lily's not that kind of girl, so they part ways. Imagine her surprise when, six months later, she finds her new employee's brother is none other than Ryle. The spark is definitely still there and Ryle and Lily find themselves in a whirlwind romance that takes them both by surprise. As they fall in love, we find out about Lily's past through her journals that she kept in high school, including the fact that her father abused her mother and that once upon a time, Lily fell in love with a boy named Atlas.
I feel like the synopsis for this book is slightly misleading as it seems that there will be a love triangle with Lily, Ryle, and Atlas, and that's not entirely true. It's more Lily's history with Atlas and kind of the idea of what might have been. Lily and Ryle are blissfully happy--until something happens that makes Lily question everything in her life.
"There is no such thing as bad people. We're all just people who sometimes do bad things."
There was so much that I loved about this book. From the very first words, I was enraptured and couldn't put it down. I love that we get her past through her journals. I love Alyssa and her true, genuine friendship with Lily. And the fact that everything's better in Boston. And the book inscription. And Ellen.
I loved Ryle from the moment we met him and I loved the way Lily and Ryle's relationship developed.
"Do you have any idea how many doors I've knocked on to find you?"
I loved their naked truths and how sweet and swoony they were together.
"I requested an Uber so you wouldn't have to go out of your way to take me home. We have approximately..." He looks down at his phone. "One and a half minutes to make out."
And I loved Atlas.
"In the future...if by some miracle you ever find yourself in the position to fall in love again...fall in love with me."
I understood him and was so proud of him.
There is one thing that I didn't like about this book, and that's the second half of the epilogue. It was swoonworthy and I was so happy, but I wish it hadn't happened like that. But honestly, that just makes me lower my rating from one-million-and-one-stars to just one-million stars. I can't even articulate how much I loved this book.
I'm not usually one to read author notes. But I feel like the author's notes at the end of this just make me love Colleen Hoover all the more. I just want to hug her and thank her for sharing this story--and hers. This book isn't like anything I've ever read. I've never experienced the actual manifestation of so many shades of gray. I always thought my feelings on this subject would be so black and white but they're not. (view spoiler)[And I found myself wanting her to give Ryle another chance, which I can hardly believe I'm admitting. But I fistpumped when she realized why she wasn't. I loved Ryle, until I didn't. And even then, I still loved him. I just wanted him to not have done what he did. And I was so surprised that Colleen Hoover said she wanted to delete what he had done. (hide spoiler)]
This book is so emotional and amazing and so much more than I ever expected it to be. There were parts that made me gasp out loud. And laugh. And tear-up. And when it was all finished, I put down my kindle and full-on sobbed. It's been a long time since I've read a book that affected me this much, if I ever have. It changed me and my perception of the world and reinforced my love for my kids and humanity. The entire story, and maybe the last three lines especially, will stay with me forever. Raw and emotional, It Ends with Us is filled with swoon and love and courage and understanding the value of one's worth. It's amazing and is the most-consuming book I've read in ages. Highly, highly recommended.

This book was amazing.
I don't know if it's when I read it or if I was just in the mood or what. But I am literally shocked by how much I loved this book!
After a terrible mishap while working as a production assistant, Paisley's name means trouble in the entertainment industry. Her best friend/roommate, Jonathan, pulls every string he can and gets her a job as personal assistant to the most notorious diva, Bellini, who is starring on her own reality show. To say that working for Bellini is the worst job ever would be an understatement. The only perk is looking at Bellini's boyfriend, Olympic swimming superstar, Reese King. He's total mancandy--Paisley had posters of him on her dorm walls. He's also strictly forbidden--as the significant other of Bellini and as her boss.
Reese is taking his last shot at Olympic Gold--he's been labeled the Silver Stroke by the media since he chokes up at the last moment, always coming in second place. Since he's retiring after this, his publicist thinks it's important to get as many endorsements and sponsorships as possible, even if the cost of which is entering a fake relationship with reality star Bellini. Though Bellini grates on every nerve of his, he is determined to put up with doing the promos and making appearances with her for the short length of the contract, until he sets sight on Paisley. She's the most beautiful girl he's ever seen and she's sassy. He can't stay away. Paisley has to fight the growing attraction between them or risk losing her life's passion, but how long can she hold out when Reese King won't let her?
"Finding your soulmate is never easy, Paisley. The luckiest people have to work at it, because once you find that true match, hyou will be that much more grateful for the journey you took to find them."
Like I said, I was shocked by how great this book was. I loved it so much, I decided to make a Top Ten reasons you should read Stroked right now. I mean, right now.
Reese King. I mean, did you think I was going to start with anything else? I loved him. He was sweet and swoony and sexy. I love that he respected Paisley and loved how good she was at her job. He was a dirty talker and just totally take charge. But he had a vulnerability that Quinn captured perfectly. He didn't want to be the Silver Stroke. He wanted Gold. He also wanted other things in life, and I just loved him. #favorite
[image]
Pope Francis. He needs no explanation. Paisley. It's not very often that I love the heroine in the book, but this time, she blew me away. She was sassy but had a genuine desire to prove herself. I liked that she was willing to do whatever it took to get her life back on track, and when she was faced with an ultimatum, she accepted responsibility for what she had done. She was a lot of fun, and I loved the progress her character made throughout this book. Chemistry and the Hotness Factor. The chemistry in this book was so off the hook, it needed to be mentioned separately. I believe in love at first sight, and I could literally feel it with this couple.
"We would be so fucking right."
And this book was hottttt. For real.
"What are you doing?" I hiss, hoping no one saw him take me in here.
He presses his hands agains the door, bracketing my head and bringing his lips inches from mine. "I'm showing you who I belong to."
Olympics It's hard for me to describe what I mean here, but Reese has been working for this moment his whole life. Quinn really captured his feelings during the events, and that was one of my favorite parts. I was actually anxious while I was reading the races!
"I want to impress you so fucking bad."
Also, the ambiance of the Olympics was just amazing. Walking the flag with Reese and feeling like I was right there with him was amazing. I loved the camaraderie and the historic feeling. Paisley was in the crowd, soaking all of that up, and it was just so...magical.
Authenticity. I appreciated how authentic this book was, and I'm sure Quinn had to do a lot of research. From Reese's diet to the way Olympic trials work to the film industry. It was amazing.
Jonathan. He might have done some things that made me want to punch him in the throat, but he was a good friend. And he was so funny!
Nicknames. Bellini was ridiculous, no doubt about it, but the names she made up for people were hilarious.
Reality TV. I ♥ Reality TV (Well, I ♥ The Bachelor), and I thought this aspect of the book was done really well.
Last but certainly not least, Truth or Dare. I don't usually like don't like Truth or Dare in adult books, but damnnnnn this one was hot. It's the most original version I've ever read, and it was a great idea!
"I dare you to howl like a wolf."
And an Honorable Mention goes to the set up for the other books in the series. I can't wait to read them!!
There were two things that I didn't like. First, Bellini. I mean, really? I wonder if there are people who are actually like that. Then I see this and know that there are. Just watch the first part, about the earring.
Though Bellini provided comedic relief, I could have done without her point of view. I also didn't care for a twist that happens with Jonathan. I felt like it was out of left field and it really wasn't addressed with Paisley. Other than that, I loved this book. Can you tell? :) If you're looking for a hot athletic romance book with a fresh storyline and characters who will make you laugh out loud and fall in love with them at the same time, you have to read Stroked by Meghan Quinn. It's awesome.
Hollywood playboy Sebastien has always had a thing for Marin, but she rejects him when he finally makes a move. He lands himself in critic4-1/2 stars.
Hollywood playboy Sebastien has always had a thing for Marin, but she rejects him when he finally makes a move. He lands himself in critical condition in the hospital after saving a woman who's being brutally attacked. Without his looks and charmed movie star life, he retreats. Marin isn't willing to let her friend go down without a fight, and along the way the two of them realize they both wanted the same thing all along--each other.
Ah, Shiloh Walker. I snap up every book of hers that comes my way, and I'm so glad I grabbed Ruined. She never fails to deliver steamy hot characters with crazy chemistry, and this book is no different for sure. I loved pretty much every thing about this book--the banter, the sex, the development of both of the characters. I don't know why I haven't read the other books in this series yet, but I will definitely be going back and checking them out.
If you love steamy stories with heroines who aren't doormats and strong heroes who sometimes need help finding their way, then you have to read Ruined by Shiloh Walker. It's amazing.
I love Jessica Lemmon, and even though Erin said I can't read any more books with "Bachelor" in the title, I couldn't resist the new series from this author. I'm so glad I didn't wait to read it because I loved this book.
A tale as old as time: Billionaire hotelier Reese Crane needs a wife so he can show the board he's settled down from his playboy ways and be named the new CEO of his family company. After Merina's small boutique hotel was purchased by Crane Hotels, she tries to appeal to him. And appeal to him she does. He makes a shrewd suggestion: marry him for six months. He'll be named CEO and she'll get her family's hotel back. As appalling as it sounds, it's not the worst offer.
Yes, the storyline is totally cliché, but I didn't mind that. In fact, it's one of my guilty pleasures. There was enough originality that I genuinely wanted Reese and Merina to find their HEA. I loved their banter and their chemistry. Good God, it was hot!
I really loved both of these characters. Merina was sassy and totally not a doormat and her reasons for going through with this ruse were legit. Reese was swoony and he really developed through the story. That was probably my favorite part--how much he changed. I loved all of it, though. I am so glad they realized what was right in front of them.
Of course there were a few things I didn't like. Reese drove me crazy sometimes, but I think that was true to his character. I truly cannot wait to read the rest of the books in this series, and I am especially excited to find out more about Tag Crane!
If you're looking for a hot fake-relationship-to-more romance with sizzling hot chemistry and a fun storyline, then I highly recommend The Billionaire Bachelor by Jessica Lemmon....more
Lauren Blakely is definitely on my auto-read list, and I was so excited when I found out about her brand new Jewel series. A flailworthy bounty hunter and a sassy heroine, all wrapped up forbidden romance? Yassss!
The Sapphire Affair is truly an adventure (a hot! adventure, mind you) as bounty hunter Jake and beautiful adrenaline junkie Steph traipse through the idyllic setting of the Cayman islands in search of treasure. There's more than meets the eye to both of these characters and this story, and I was enthralled every moment.
The chemistry between Jake and Steph was off the chain from the very first page. I couldn't put this book down! This fast-paced story is action-packed and oh so gratifying. I loved the entire idea for this--it's a refreshing take in a sea of overdone plots. I love everything about it--the characters, the story, the build-up...gah!
Well, maybe I didn't love everything. It does end in an evil cliffy, but luckily, we only have to wait a month to dive into Sapphire Heist.
Also, this book has one of the hottest dry humping scenes in the history of dry humping. I'm not kidding. Here's a little tease:
"Climb on top."
The were far enough away from the bar that they weren't making a spectacle of themselves, and the dark of the night shielded them the rest of the way. He tugged her on top of him, so she straddled him, her knees pressing into the wood.
"Ride me," he said in a low voice."

Scorching hot and seductive, The Sapphire Affair by Lauren Blakely will captivate romance lovers from the first word to the last. It's a must-read!...more

↑ ↑ ↑ This is the way I feel every time I'm trying to write the review for this book. It has me all jumbled up inside. I kind of don't understand how I can love a book so much.
I've been waiting for Austin's story since the beginning of this series. He's Sebastian's little brother and we knew that whatever his past held, it would be intense. I wasn't prepared for this, though. And that's one of the things that I love the most about it. I didn't think I could feel as much emotion as I did with Baz and Shae, but God. Edie and Austin slayed me. I don't even know what I can tell you about the book without giving everything away because when I think about what to say here, I just clutch my chest. It's that emotional.
Edie is Ash's little sister (and this reminds me, please please say we get a book about Ash, too, because I'm dying for his story!). She and Austin were best friends and fell in love. Four years ago, all of that shattered when Austin accidentally told a secret that he promised to keep, and they haven't seen each other since then. Now they're back in each other's lives, broken and needing each other.
"How do you both break my heart and heal it at the same time?"
Wait is swoonworthy and intense and raw and real. It's so emotional and beautiful. The way Jackson strings words together astounds me. Though this is the fourth book in the series, it can absolutely be read as a standalone. But I recommend that you read them all because they're amazing. No matter which couple you start with, you'll definitely be changed after reading the Bleeding Stars series.
