Every word just jolts something fundamentally deep in you and stays rooted in place. I find myself in random moments during the day and thinking, "oh my god. I can totally relate to Joe." I guess this is what makes 'Sorrow' and pretty much every other DeBartolo book out there special. There are many elements to it that strikes a certain familiarity. It's like saying 'hello' to a treasured friend you haven't seen in a long time.
Despite its unhurried pace (which I normally don't enjoy much) 'Sorrow' is a book you definitely shouldn't miss out on.
