It’s steamy! Soooo Nasty. Literally porn lmao. It’s a fun time just read it!
Notes: - info dumping from Cherry - Is Peter Pan a fae bc it’s hot or trendy? I CACKLED at this fae talk lmfao - reads like a middle grade; more dialogue than detail, answers to questions are given outright - more action than steam towards the end ...more
A little weird seeing family members drool over the same girl - but the spiciness makes up for that lol.

The story started off really strong, but I found the pacing to be off slightly. It felt wishy-washy because she kept switching between these men. The winner makes sense, but I personally think he could’ve benefited from more book time.

People usually recommend this book to activate some sort of spiritual awakening. I mean, there were some quotes I highlighted and some messages that I agreed with, but it’s more of a simple story with a simple moral.
(Admitting that I only know this book through Noah Centineo)
I genuinely enjoyed this read! I thought it to be profound, for as short of a novel i4.5

I see this book as some sort of Bible; following someone’s spiritual journey - peaks and depressions, difficult lessons. If you’re a beginner hopping into spirituality, this might resonate with you!
A really beneficial book on mental health and intrapersonal relationships! The most intriguing part to me is how this topic melds psychology with s4.5

Sapiens spends about the first 15% of how our species first became introduced to earth, then the rest is followed by our growing conscious, political advancement, economical growth, and psychology. There was a portion that touched on the horrors of the farming industry and pollution which reminded me to keep mindful of my consumption in all aspects (I’m already a vegan!).
Overall, a truly fascinating book about human history and a deep dive into our increasing societal standards. And an added tidbit of hypotheses of what we might become in the near future. ...more

Not much happens for character development nor with the plot, but reading it felt like a vivid fever dream. I didn’t hold any expectations, so maybe that’s why I enjoyed it so much.
I knew 9/11 would be involved, but that last chapter didn’t really feel like it fit into the story that well....more
