Editors aren’t just for spelling and grammar, just throwing that out there. But this book gets mad props for being probably the first RH book with more then 4 guys where I was actually able to keep all the guys straight and they were all individuals and unique the whole way through the series....more

I’m annoyed this has a cliffhanger because I really don’t want to read anymore. This gets 1 star because all (most?) books deserve at least 1 and a half star because the smut scenes were pretty good. But that’s all it had going for it. Also the explanation points, I just can’t with that. You aren’t using them right! It drives me nuts so please stop. And the way that not only all of the characters but the author as well just brushes off the h’s traumatic continuous SA was just super gross and weird and I didn’t like it. The H’s had exactly 0 reaction to her telling them and her thought process of she was using her body to survive is sad but understandably a trauma response so I get it but the people around her, hearing what she went through definitely should stop and recognize the trauma. ...more

I’d say this book was just ok for me, I liked it but it is definitely not even close to a being a favourite KA read for me. It felt very rushed becausI’d say this book was just ok for me, I liked it but it is definitely not even close to a being a favourite KA read for me. It felt very rushed because she backed herself into a corner with the timeline and had to have everything happen in the 2 weeks the characters were all going to be together. And even though it was rushed, it still took till like 60% into the book for the MC’s to move beyond just kissing so this is a very slow burn book which is not what you expect from a KA read. Also I would only VERY loosely call this a “murder mystery” book. I loved the history bits about the house and there were times it was a bit spooky. But I also figured out who done in pretty quick so the mystery part was also lacking. Over all a very average read. ...more
