First story in a new series. Natalia Grey's father has been murdered his assistant Carson Connor's has no memory of the evening, so he's under suspicion. Natalia's attracted to this man. With the assistance of her two vampire friends she hopes to find the truth. Gargoyles are being brought to life, causing mayhem. They need to find out who's responsible.
This is a hot little read if quite short in length.but this author is talented enough to make this work. I liked the characters and the sex scenes were hot. First in a new series and well worth reading. ARC courtesy of the author

Travelling to Brighton David Hawke a partner in a bank, is long overdue a holiday. But this trip is not all pleasure. His friend and neighbour is in serious debt to the bank, so much so he is about to lose everything. But before David has a chance to meet Peter Watson and discuss his debts, he meets Peter's sister Abigail, she is no longer the young girl David remembers but a very confident and outspoken young woman. When she meddles in David's plans to speak to her brother, things get complicated.
What a charming short story this is. What really did it for me were the characters they were very easy to relate to. The authors writing style is easy and flowing. The love scenes was sensuous and tender. There are a cast of supporting characters whom I hope will get their own book. A thoroughly enjoyable read ARC courtesy of NetGalkey

Meredith Clark has for many years been estranged from her family. Her true identity of Rosemary Randell, is deeply buried. Meredith INTRIGUING ROMANCE
Meredith Clark has for many years been estranged from her family. Her true identity of Rosemary Randell, is deeply buried. Meredith currently earns her living in a house of ill repute, using the name Calista. This is where she first meets Constantine Earl of Grayling. He has been in mourning for his late wife, for the past two years. Father to three daughters, who miss their mother, his lot is not a happy one. He's determined to break out of his depression. Hence his visit to Mrs Cohen's establishment. When he lays eyes on Calista, he knows instantly she's the one for him.
So taken is he with Calista, that he pays an exorbitant amount of money to the madam, so that Calista spends her time exclusively with him. But other gentlemen who visit the house are becoming annoyed at Calista not being available to them. Grayling decides drastic situations need drastic measures.
I really enjoyed this story. It is well written with very well developed characters. In particular I loved Grayling he was a saucy, sexy, devil. Rosemary/Meredith/Calista, was a woman who had learned over the years to look after herself. Needs must when the devil drives, seemed to be her attitude to life. The interactions between the two leads was very entertaining. A real battle of wills. The love scenes were full of passion. The chemistry between them was electric.
To be honest I did have some doubts as I started to read this, would an Earl really act the way he did to a woman with the heroines occupation. But I decided to go with it, and I'm glad I did because it was so well done. ARC courtesy of LLD Press and NetGalley.

Initially I was enjoying this until the story opened up. I did not understand why Tristan the male lead had harboured strong feelings for Amy for literally years. But all he ever did was make fun of her one time in particular was quite cruel. He was the campus king while she was the nerdy girl. He dated her best friend Harper for months they were an off on again couple. But he had plenty of other girls, that was implied. Knowing his only real interest was Amy confused me. That being said this book slowly descended into what I can only describe as a cringe fest. Not my favourite ...more

He believed without question every lie the younger sister told him about her older sibling, when the truth was staring him right in the face the whole time. Big mistake, I read some and skipped through the rest. The plot was totally ridiculous I kept thinking while reading, as if and really! I might have found this more believable if it had been set in medieval times or even in a dystopian period. But it was totally implausible to me that well educated young people who live in the present day would go along with curses and old wives tales. It was a load of bullshit IMO.
I’ve since browsed the blurb and reviews for some of this authors other books, she seems to have a thing for her heroines getting the shit kicked out of them. No thanks.

When she’s brought back home everything has changed, the marriage now is between her and another man, Stefan he obviously has something on her father otherwise how else would her previous betrothal be cancelled. Stefan takes her to his home the following day, where Gabriela feels she’s just exchanged one prison for another, and she now has a new jailer.
This is part one of a two book series, it ends on a cliffhanger, fortunately I only came across this book when both had been published, as I normally hate waiting for follow up books to be released. The two leading characters are very well defined as are the supporting cast. The scenes between Stefan and Gabriela are often tense and sparks fly between them. There’s plenty happening which I won’t go into here, but there are lots of questions I’m hoping will be answered in part two. There’s not much info as to what Stefan gets up to or how he makes his money. This is more of a character driven story. Is it perfect no it’s not. But I really liked it, I particularly liked the authors writing style. The pacing is very good and there’s no insta love either.
