The urban metropolis and the rivalry built up between the clans felt thoroughly fleshed out and anxiety inducing in the most immersive way. The Kaul siblings served as such fascinating and relatable protagonists that subvert common archetypes and are authentic to-the-T. I fell in LOVE with Shae and Wen especially, and I can't wait to see where they go next.
Honestly, I liked this from page one but wasn’t locked in until the major turning point event around the halfway mark (iykyk). I was caught OFF GUARD let me tell you. . . same feeling as the ending of Game of Thrones season 1. Fonda Lee is not afraid to pull the rug out from under your feet !!
