✨MY REVIEW for Starlight by Olivia Wildenstein:✨
“Whatever happens in there, Naya, it won’t change how I feel about you.” “How do you feel about me?” “Like I’ve been searching for you my entire life.” —Starlight, Olivia Wildenstein
Wow, this book had me on a such rollercoaster ride. I was beyond happy, swooning for our Adam and Naya, and then I was heartbroken, reeling, crying in sad and then happy up to the very last page. UGH!! SO FREAKING GOOD!!!
— I love Naya, she's everything to me. Adam... he's so intense and so like our hero Jarod.
— Both of our main characters are written so well, they may be not the Jarod and Leigh we know but their souls are still the same Jarod and Leigh that we fell in love with. And they are also so them in so many ways that I'm so blown away with how Wildenstein managed to pull this. That was outstanding!
— Asher... oh my god. What. a DILF.
— THE LOVEABLE SIDE CHARACTERS! Oh. My. God. Adam's friends: Noah, Galina, Boone and Levi all deserve their own books and I will die on this hill!!! Just felt like pointing this out because I love them so freaking much!!! Even Emmy and especially Grayson! Badly wish these characters have their own book because I will definitely buy and read them all!! And I just want more Angels of Elysium story, yall I dont want to say bye to this series yet. I can't.
ANYWAYS, this book was excellent! I'm incredibly satisfied and happy with how this ended.
With all that said, this book was such a spectacular and perfect ending to an already perfect series by Olivia Wildenstein. This series has got such a great world building it's unique and original that I'm sad to see it end just here. I felt like there was so much more it can give, has such enormous potential and capable of telling more stories but I understand the author putting the pen down here. I just love the structure of the Angels hierarchy and the challenge of getting to become a fully-fledged Angel here and how each do their jobs. I would live in this world if I could. This was so very well done and very well thought-out unlike from the other stories I've come across, so massive kudos to the author for writing such compelling world-building with a great narrative to boot.
RATING: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 I could not recommend this book series enough for yall IT'S SO, SO GOOD. 5 stars rating for this book, as it deserves....more

This is such a stunning work. I feel like I was Nora and that whatever her feelings was, I understood because I know what it's like to be in her shoes. I've experienced what she was going through and so I've connected with her. Reading this book felt like this one was written for me. It spoke, resonated and left a mark on me.

easily the best of andy weir's work! ever since i started reading it i simply cannot just put it down. project hail mary is like the martian meets inteasily the best of andy weir's work! ever since i started reading it i simply cannot just put it down. project hail mary is like the martian meets interstellar but better its easily readable, hilarious and fun, the science bits is incredibly descriptive but never dry (and that's on andy weir's magic working again with his style of writing and the voice of this book) it flows naturally and the build up of the story has a likeness of a sci-fi movie (which doesn't surprise me bc this book's rights have already been bought a year before its release, with ryan gosling to star as our mc, middle school teacher ryland grace and drew goddard to pen the script, same guy that wrote for the martian) so anyways aside from that, id like to talk about how amazing the characters are! especially Rocky, my beloved dorky geeky engineer space bug, bureaucratic girlboss eva stratt and the team that worked behind project hail mary.

"Existence becomes the game and the game becomes art. As it is in life." - ch. 16
Blue Graffiti is a coming of age tale that flips between various moments in the life of Cash, a young man from middle of nowhere town called Johnston from the Midwest. Told in the lens of his adult self, we see his memories from childhood to certain moments in his young life - with friends and family and the town of Johnston that shaped him to who he become. Add in the way we readers have the front row seat to his adult self's vivid and heart wrenching stream of emotionally charged thoughts during each events, his way of storytelling comes with such magnificent usage of poignant, stunning in its gloriousness, poetic lyricism that defines this author's unique voice - a sure way of making the readers hooked with every word. A very impressive feat, also, is the way the author masterfully and carefully woven the composition of the narrative, to the characters in Cash's life on the daily from past to present, to the way of how everything builds up towards the end.
The way the author concocted this book - capturing that wonder of great love and the desperation of pursuing it, of joy and heartache you carry from your past and how it just never leaves you as you grow older, and such grief so heavy that it reduced me to tears so. many. times… I am blown away.
She’s looking across the sidewalk, patient and cool through the gentle rain. She’s unphased. And I’m telling you, in the dark of the night and the falling water, painted with a few shades of neon from the bar signs, she is the only story I’d follow. - ch. 32
On the other hand, something to note, this book did exceptionally well, too, in terms of making romance stand in its own against the literary side of the novel. An impressive feat considering rarely do books in literary history has given it the justice it so rightfully deserve.
I have never felt so speechless after reading a book like this in my entire life, ever! So needless to say, Blue Graffiti sure makes it way atop of my list of favorite books of all time! I have been wanting to read something so romantic and heart wrenching, so freeing and hopeful, and just, making me feel everything at the same time! This one has it all! And because it's a debut novel from a new author, I felt lucky to be be able to read this. We know each author's debut is piece of their soul, and I felt Leo Cash's here.
This book was a spiritual experience for me so I highly recommend picking this up! Sure it does have it's flaws, like the way it started slow, (but in a way I kind of see that as what makes this book so unique and likeable? Cash rambles and so what? His rambling is peak literature, and that’s on that) and I think they're just small so I didn’t even mind them at all. And, well! What beauty this book offered makes up for all that it missed, so give it a chance!
The book hooked me from page 1 to last. It's my very first book in this genre (horror) although I canI see no reason for not rating this book a 5 star
The book hooked me from page 1 to last. It's my very first book in this genre (horror) although I can't say this book did scare me or something (and I'm a person who hates and avoids horror and ghost stories) I thought this one was particularly not that scary as i thought it would be. Good thing the story and mystery was gripping, else I would have DNFed this book long ago! lol
I finished the book in quite a record time, in just three hours! so if you like a breezy, coming of age horror read, this book is a good recommendation! ...more

Man, I should have known... why did my dumbass expected a HEA? Jesus. Now I'm crying like so many fat tears right now.
Oh, where to start ... I love this book SO MUCH! Jarod and Leigh's love story was beautiful (God, now here I am crying again! guess I'll just have to type this review in tears then, jesus) I loved every single bit of their time together. Knowing this book is a retelling of Romeo and Juliet, the sense of their impending fate made me relish every single time they were here. From start to finish, this book has kept my interest tethered, the worldbuilding was done so well, the characters well-written and the PAIN... AHHHH! Damn, I love it all! I'm so sooo glad I stumbled onto this title and read it. I ALWAYS always avoid any books that doesn't have HEA but for this one I didnt, maybe it's the foolish hope that it might not go full on Romeo and Juliet but maybe it's because I wanted to challenge my reading slump so bad and it turns out, I'm right. This book did cure me off my slump (as i am already READY to download and read the next book!) and KNOW MORE, HOPING that maybe Jarod and Leigh got their happy ever after. Even if they did not, I still think Asher is an interesting character even if he annoyed me in this book. I believe the next one, his book, will redeem him in my eyes.
I love this book so much! I 100% recommended this if you like a bit of angst in your reading. Jarod and Leigh were written so tastefully in this retelling. No naivety and immaturity like tge way Romeo and Juliet have. Jarod and Leigh are just, BUILT DIFFERENT.
oh god... i have no words... I went into this book thinking I'd be reading a quick, light fluffy with slight angst THIS IS NOT YOUR TYPICAL ROMCOM FIX
oh god... i have no words... I went into this book thinking I'd be reading a quick, light fluffy with slight angst to fix me up, WHAT I DIDN'T EXPECT WAS TO BE ATTACKED BY PAIN AND ANGSTINESS OF THE DRAMA!?
I knew shit was about to go down at around 40% — our pair Graham and Soraya were so perfectly happy and seems to have found their footing SO EARLY in on the book. Y'all, lemme tell you, when I realized this, that's when I started SWEATING and my heart STARTED POUNDING! then the plot twist happened at around 50% and I the sweating and anxiety turned full out meltdown! I was like, "WHAT THE FUCK?! HOLY SHIT" No kidding you, I literally yelled that out SO LOUD ...more

This book has been a page turner for me, I couldn't get enough of it with the way the story kept me clutched with it's mystery surrounding the legend of Angelina and John, of Jonah's heartbreaking but captivating story, of Clara's boundless selflessness and wonder to how she had become instrumental to helping Jonah learning to forgive himself and reclaim his life — but the most beautiful thing in this story was their love for each other. Tale as old as time, indeed.
As usual, this novel is another stunning masterpiece from Mia Sheridan! I'm so beyond amazed at how beautiful this story was! No words to describe it but I'm just so happy that I got to read this book, because it's that kind of book that one MUST read in their lifetime....more

I didnt expect a story like this —My heart hasn't stopped pounding since I've finished this book. I have no words to describe how beautiful this was. I didnt expect a story like this — suspense drama with romance, to come from Mia Sheridan but she did an spectacular job when she wrote this.
This is a must read if you love heart pounding romantic suspense and intense drama books. The story follows an investigation of two murders that lead to more deaths getting uncovered, and of Jak — the little boy left to fend for himself in the forest, very harsh for him because he was only 8 when he was forced to live miles away from civilization (oh, Jak, there have not been a single moment where my heart didnt cried out for him. he was just a boy, and im crying again!!) to the man he's become and what his ties to the aforementioned murders were. This book is a journey of a little boy, abandoned, a savage trying to survive to him finding his answers in the end.
I am in deep, deep awe with this stunning masterpiece of a work by Sheridan. The whole time I was reading this felt like I was watching it on my TV instead of reading it on my kindle. You know you got a great book in front of you if such reaction like this could pull words from book to motion pictures in your mind. I wasn't just reading the experience, it felt like I was watching it. That's how well-written this book was.
I loved Jak/Lucas love story with Harper. They really are meant to be. I loved that sense of found family they got with Agent Gallagher and his wife, Laurie. I loved the mystery part of this book, it's what kept me going from page to page to page reading this. I also kind of hated but loved that this book made me cry so many times — it's Jak's gnawing loneliness and hunger, of him trying to make sense of civilization for the first time in like 2 decades. It was pure agonizing, heartbreak for me reading this little boy fending off for himself to the man he came to be, rediscovering the world outside the forest he lived in for so long.
I 100% recommend this book to anyone who is keen on reading a book WITH SUBSTANCE. Because Savaged by Mia Sheridan is it....more
