JD Frost, you knocked this right out of the park. This book- the plot, the storyline, the chemistry, everything about this was explosive. You dug your claws all the way into me with this one, in such a fantastic way. This is an amazing debut novel.
I started reading this and I couldn’t put it down, I was so entrapped and twisted up in this capturing tale of Oakley and Asher. I was on the edge of my seat, tears pouring down my face, begging for something to give with Oakley’s uncle.
My heart broke for Oakley and his sister, April and then I learned Asher’s home life and my fractured heart, crumbled. You moved me with this compelling novel.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to read this one. I loved receiving an advanced copy for my honest review.
I honestly, can’t wait for what you write next. I think Oakley’s talented artist heart and star football player Asher will forever live free in my head. ...more

This storOutplayed is the second book I’ve read by Courtney W. Dixon. It was exactly the story I needed and I loved every minute of Cooper and Aspen.
This story flowed so effortlessly and Cooper and his people pleasing self spoke to me; I loved this football superstar and how different he was from a normal jock. He had the weight of the world on his shoulders but he was so down to earth and simple. I loved that.
And gosh, did I love Aspen. His feel spirit and attitude about life, you couldn’t help falling in love with the person he was. He was also such a hard, dedicated worker. Bartender and lead singer in a band, he checked all the boxes.
I normally hate a third act breakup but Courtney did it so well. I was dying when these boys feel apart. They both wanted the relationship so badly, but didn’t know how to just grab it by the hand and take their happiness. I truly believe it was needed for this book. Cooper hand to learn to put him and his wants above his family, friends, football and the world. He needed to see how this decision and being away from Aspen would affect him.
Courtney this was marvelous. Thank you for letting me ARC read for you. I truly love this. ...more

Ashleigh and Addison Beck was everything I was hoping for. I wanted Bunky and Whaley’s story the moment I finished reading Hateful Love.
Both of these MC’s have a dark/tragic past that haunt them. Neither Bunky nor Whaley is a stranger to nightmares. They’re completely unhinged and find their match in each other. What’s better than someone who not only understands, but gets you so completely they know exactly what you need before you knew you needed it.
Bunky is chaos reincarnated, looking for trouble and sometimes trouble finds him. He is not afraid of his demons or scared of a fight.
Whaley is the leader of the aces and fights to control his demons and keep a level head. At first he fights the relationship with Bunky. When he finally gives in, it’s every filthy dream you’ve ever had come true. These two are so hot together. I could have just read the spicy scenes with them ...more

This book brought me so much hurt in part one and repaired my broken heart in part two. Melody, you have such a way with story telling, I could have lived with these two forever.
Sammy and Will were always inevitable. Best friend for the first ten years of life, to lose touch when Will moves away, these two always found each other again. And every time, felt like coming home.
Sammy is such a sweet soul underneath the hard exterior in the beginning. His need to protect and put others and their needs above his own, speaks volumes of his character. His growth in part two put a smile on my face. The changes he made as he aged, he was more opened and expressive. I loved his journey, as he prevailed from his youth, it was such a pleasure to read. I know, I know, it’s fictional but I loved that he became the master of his story. I love my broken boys and I loved seeing this one’s life change and him finding his passion. Such a beautiful part of this story for me, you’ve done an outstanding job with this one Melody. Will might be his something good, but I think Sammy is mine. To see him on the other side of life, touched my soul.
And Will, my sweet Will, I just want to hug him forever and I’d like to stab Dimitri for him. I love him for atoning to his mistakes and fixing them with his mother and Jason. Repairing the hurt we may not have realized we caused is part of healing.
I connected to both of these characters on different levels. My connection with Sammy has more depth, just because I relate to him, but I love them both the same. Also, I’m such a sucker for some animal love. Thank you for making Goldie a part of this story and part of Will’s healing.
I just loved Sammy’s brother Jimmy, I hope we get more of him at some point, if he is speaking to you. Also, Will’s mama is such a wonderful delight, I loved her wisdom and advice. (Reminds me of my two book besties/soul sisters, always helping me to navigate this crazy life.)
Thank you Melody Claire for trusting me to read this one for you. This is my honest opinion. I couldn’t love Sammy, Will and Goldie more if I tried.
I’m beyond excited for book two of this series and to learn more about Jason. ♥️...more

I’ve been wanting to read this forever and I picked it up after my own heart was broken. I wanted something captivating, dark and with some enemies to lovers vibes. You more than delivered.
I was already bruised and bleeding when you instantly hooked me with this one but my god you obliterated my heart and then helped heal it. I don’t know what you put in this book but it’s my drug of choice, I’m completely addicted.
Brandon “Bran” King - (oh my soul cried for you and I wanted to hug you the entire time, and let our kindred spirits heal together.) Bran appears to be Mr. Put together on the outside, he follows a rigorous schedule and everything is about keeping control. He hides his demons so well from everyone. His internal POV broke me more and more as the story continued. I loved the artist in him, the meaning behind his #newday post, his running and just his overall fight to keep living.
Nikolai “Niko” Sokolov - is a Bratva prince, he is feral, obsessive, possessive and it’s well known that he likes men and women. He is also lethal and completely unhinged with a sweet tooth. Niko has tattoos for days, gives the best nicknames and has a pierced d*ck. (Sign me up)
Bran and Niko both have some wonderful family and friends. Their families were so unexpected to me but I was completely won over. Bran’s dad, Levi giving Niko a hard time was so much fun to read.
This book packs a punch. I encourage you to read all the trigger warnings before picking it up, if you don’t have any triggers then enjoy. I felt every single emotion while reading this- I laughed, I cried, I threw my kindle and wanted to scream. Books that pull so much from me, always end up as my favorites.
This may not to be a love story to some but to me, Rina you did a beautiful job with this one.
I loved the constant push and pull with Nikolai and Brandon. I loved the fire that burned between them and the hate Bran spewed to keep his walls intact. Did I mention, I loved the fight? Hate f*cking is hands down, the best. I love Niko’s determination and I don’t give a fuck attitude. I love how committed he was and how he showed up after he was told not to. Psychotic, maybe? I loved the text messages and how obsessed these two became over each other. Then comes Bran’s possessive side and that had to be one of the hottest parts for me.
Example: “You better remember who the fuck you belong to, Nikolai..”. And Meagan has melted ...more

Jimbob and Braxton are completely opposites when it comes to lifestyles, personalities, clothes and jobs.
This grump of a man just needed an escape from the life he felt weighed down by. When he meets Jimbob things start changing for him. I loved how this grouch was also hilarious and intelligent.
MM Romance First Times Small Town Opposites Attract Golden Retriever MC Grumpy vs Sunshine
Braxton is grumpy, closed off, irritable, has attitude for days, unsure and everything about him is a gloomy dark cloud. He hasn’t had the easiest life but it hasn’t been terrible.
Jimbob is the sweetest most sunshinest/simple guy I’ve ever read about. He is just so real, a true upfront, good guy who cares and loves deeply. There is nothing not good in this man. This farmer who loves animals as much as people. (Anyone who is an animal lover is a winner in my eyes.) Jimbob makes it his personal mission to put a smile on Braxton’s face.
This was such a fast-paced, easy read. Nicole Dykes and Cora Rose know what they are doing. Even in there writing style, they brought this book through as country, and it was perfect.

It’s hilarious, emotional and it brings all the heat.
Emmy I have fallen in love with all the books I’ve read by you. Teddy was no different. I was quickly entrapped in this story. This one flowed seamlessly, which to be honest, I’m sad about how fast I read it. I wasn’t ready for their journey to end. I just couldn’t put this down. It was such a beautiful and emotional story. I laughed more than I cried.
These two characters spoke to my soul. Teddy and Kipp are my favorites from the Elite 8 Studios.
The banter, emotional pull and Kipp awkwardness was spot on. The way I related to Kipp’s verbal diarrhea, awkwardness, and need to deflect with humor had me. He is the male version of myself, I’m sure of it.
The daddy dom and brat dynamic, and the woke up married storyline were written perfectly. However, I need to know where you wrote this magical creature of a green flag man, Teddy because I need one.
Kipp and Teddy are the balance and missing piece in each others lives. They’ve known of each other for almost two years but Teddy has kept his distance out of fear over past trauma. Until one day they wake up in bed together married.
Teddy is a gentle nurturer and caretaker. He is without a doubt the perfect man. He is so gentle and kind to be a bear of a man. He knew what Kipp needed before Kipp did. This man is soul deep and I loved how much he cares about those he loves. I related to him in that way.
My love for Teddy knows no bounds. He is my new book husband along with Ellis.
Thank you Emmy Sanders for letting me ARC read this one for you. Pure perfection right here. This is my honest opinion. ...more

The passion between these two is unreal, their chemistry is off the charts. These two stepbrothers first time lites a fire and it burns so bright and so good.

Noah is the game winning champion of the house. At first, he hates how Asher is with him, it makes him feel like a child. He is a fireball.
When these two finally take the time to tell each other how they feel, there is no turning back. They instantly dive into each other.

My book besties kept telling me I needed to read this one and I consumed in within a day. I couldn’t put this one down, I was so captured by the raw pain Shooter felt and the comfort, shyness and vulnerability Sterling offered.
Shooter Graham (24) is a three time world champion bareback bronc rider. He comes from a long line of champions in his family. Rodeo is in his blood, it’s deeply ingrained into his DNA. He comes off as smug, cocky and arrogant. He lets his a**holeism fly. Underneath the attitude, and arrogance, he struggles with being enough for his dad and the pressure of carrying a legacy on his shoulders.
Sterling Addams (21) is the new guy in town and it’s his first year of being in the pro bronc riding circuit. With his honey colored eyes, reserved and quiet personality, shy sweet smile, he struggles with making friends.
Shooter and Sterling met for the first time at a bar. Let’s just say their first encounter, well it’s extremely steamy. Fast forward a few months and they run into each again, when Sterling moves to town.
This was so good. I loved Sterling and Shooter. Shooter’s internal struggles, his insecurities and his doubts, plus his father, I felt his pain and that kind of resonated with me. I loved the build up as these two explored together and fell into each other. There is a fine line between love and hate and these two walked it.
If you love rivals to lovers, cowboys, first times/virgin mc, a filthy dirty talker, steamy moments, mental health rep, then you’ll love this one.
Ashley is a new author to me and I am so excited about this series. Can’t wait to read more....more
