From the constant info-dumping where dialogue or scene removal would do to the main character's experience with "Native American" meditation, I just could not force myself to keep reading to see if the author had managed to write an explicit BDSM scene. The main character had a scene with a non-romantic partner early on that was just vague recounting of toys and numbers of orgasms, nothing on page.
Also, she kept referring to herself as middle-aged. She's thirty-four! I refuse....more
