Nina is Sophie best friend in neighbor. She is a Pet rescuer and adopts animals ( mostly dogs ) to their forever home. She had a little pup that she growing fond of while she foster her. This book in the series is about a wealthy woman Lark that her father and her grandfather were Jewelers. Of very expensive and rare jewels. ( they made them) Her daughter Paisley had 6 kids and a mean SOB of a husband Frank ( and don't get started on his mother the witch). He thought the world involved around him ( their family were a boisterous bunch) Lark could not stand him ( and the same go for him and his mom). Well Lark had died in a really weird scene. A ladder was right beside her and was very very late and to top it off she was positioned wrong. Bennett ( the son and bro) and Frank started taking all of Lark belongings ( and there were valuable items displayed on the table set up with Sophie DIY Festival. ) Sophie thought it rather strange they had done that just a few day after Lark had died. Then Paisley and her husband kept on screaming while kids were off to do destructive things. ( Tommy was the oldest young boy) he was a very smart ( had found his grandma Lark first) and would listen intently to the adults. Then some other lady died Euclie (that had gone on a vacation with Lark, and Nina) They all started talking together including Bernie ( Max and Sophie friend and best man at their wedding a long time ago) and thought that Nina must be in danger since she was on Vacation at the same place and at the time. But come to find out there were a whole lot of mean hateful people that wanted their hands on some Jewels that were so highly expensive that no one could knew exactly where they were hiding. There were 2 murders and 2 different killers one of them had copied the other just get off the cops radar. These are goid books. But sometimes they can be over the top unrealistic, but that really gives us something fun and different and excited about reading more and more. Will always read her series....more

They were trying to destroy the meaning of Fred' s life all over again. Then Fred thought somehow Branson ( her ex boyfriend psycho cop ) was involved. That was one part of story. The other part was Anna and Carl getting a makeover of their store. And the woman Priscilla lagging on ( and making it hideous) while she had a partner Kit that does woodworking.) They was spot of weird things going on with that including Priscilla dying in Kit home. Fred had met Loretta a older woman that owned a family shop but had to give it up because it was not making enough money since all new shops were coming together in Estes. Love Watson ( Winifred little Corgi. Cozy Corgi is the Bookshop of Fred) and has Absolutely Awesome Characters. If you have not read any of her books in this series. I suggest you do. Hannah also wanted to find out where her Beautiful African Grey Parrot Duncan was. ( Hanna let Aunt Cilia have him for awhile while she and her husband were in Europe) So Ivy and her crew including her pets. Keats, and Percy. Went on a more Asian to find her Aunt and Duncan the Grey. There is a nice surprise In this book 13. It is neat that Ivy can communicate with her Birdie Collie Keats and Percy the Orange Marmalade Cat. Love these series....more

That she attended with her boyfriend Aiden mom ( Juilet ) black and white spotted pig Jethrothatwas stealing the show with his funny antics. Margot found out her mom Zara ( she once was a Judge in Amish County and most all of the Amish hated her because of her very bad arrests made there ) Margot was very upset about having her there she would always criticize her for everything. On top of that Zara had found a very young tennis pro for a boyfriend (Blaze). When the festivities got started Blaze announced to Bailey ( actually screamed that he was very very allergic to peanuts and that he could not have the Buckeyes candies. that Bailey handed him full of peanuts. ) and every Thanksgiving there also was Marshmallow Fluff with Peanut butter in it too. well he fell in his mashed potatoes headfirst. Merideth niece Louisa was spying in Ivy and Jilly and the two zombie apocalypse older women Edith and Gertiewere trying find treasures in a very old location ( but found new and old bones with heart graves located there) and Louisa got caught by Keats and Percy the orange marmalade cat. And she had to tell them and the police ( since Jilly called Kellian Ivy fiancee Detective and Jilly husband a cop & Ivy bro since they all found the bones) Louisiana told them that her Aunt needed help finding Keats sis Frost and his mother Amy but she said her Aunt would explain the rest. And that Meridith d id not want Keats or any money for Keats. She just wanted her dogs she had now that were stolen. Ivy was so Relieved cause Keats was her Soul Dog and knew how to communicate with him. But then it became iffy after Louisa told them that they need go to her Aunts house. Everyone was on high alert Ivy and friends because they did not know really if they setting a trap. But all was good. This is like the others series in these books are great reads. The Best parts in these stories is when Ivy is confronted with a killer it keeps your andrelian racing to find out what happens next attacks are made in these book series. The books are fun all around with the characters. And all the farm animals too...more

Tilly is capable on her own but Brian and dad thinks she starting to get dementia. Emory and sis Vannie had been going to a training session for their 2 dogs Missy and Piper. But they found that the instructor Shawn and his mom Eloise were incompetent. They had not helped their dogs or any others at all. So Emory starts talking to some of the clients. Cheryl was a secretary for Eloise and she told Emory and her sis some very shady things about Shawn. And one time her son Kai was involved and got 5years in prison while Shawn went Scot free. Well anyways Emory had to go back to the clubhouse ( where they were at with dogs) she left some plates and such for her mermaid cupcakes ( that she was making 100 for a little girl birthday party) when she got there no-one was there but then she found a pair of stilettos stretched out with feet inside. And she knew who it was. There even was gas stove on with no flames so the fumes were strong. So she went out fast and called police. When Detective Nathan Hawkins came he recognized her as her ex husband wife The Murder Magnet ( he called her) but Nathan really wanted to talk to some suspects while baking cupcakes and giving them to get them talking. And after awhile there was another murder. Love these series. The plots are always great. Recommend reading these cool series...more

About 4 years ago they said that Bella had drowned when she took her boat away. But anyway the other half the story Anna friends were having a get together over their friend Rosie's inn. Where all 4 of her friends were living it up a having ice cream ( Go Figurel lol). 2 of Rosie's employees Gabby one of the inns maids ( and Gabby helped Anna sometimes to straighten up her Ice cream Shop.) So she gave a pint of ice cream ( a favorite flavor this week she had enjoyed. But she always had a favorite it seemed every day of the week) and a man named Deacon a Gardener for the inn. Came right after one another. Anna gave Gabby the pint and Gabby told her she did not have to do that. But Anna Same she was showing how she appreciate her. But when Gabby left a little after that Deacon decided to leave too. And them Thump , Bam Boom and footstep slowing, skittin and scraping to get to where he or she were going. all 5 women heard someone had fell down a flight of the stairs at the Inn. The women were right near the stairs so they easily heard. Rosie receptionist was actually right where someone literally fell down the stairs. And come to find out it was Gabby. The receptionist told them all she was concentrating on some work issue she had to do. And she did not see or hear anyone. Anna and Rosie started trying to find the information on their own accord. Cause they gave the excuse that there was only 1 deputy on duty and her sure could keep a lookout or talk to other people they way they could. Well let me say. This Author is good. Cause always in the 3 books in this series. Anna keeps getting clues that her sister Bella is really still alive but something is keeping her away from her loved one. Anna really had that strong since that that was what is was. Me myself would like the sister found. The suspense is Killing Me lol. But hey that' s ok. The story line are good but it needs a little more omoph u know what I mean. But I do like her story line about Anna' sister Bella though...more

Karla had hired Fittz and company to renovate both Bell flower and Mirrabelle the cottages. Karla heard Her mom Lynn and Harry ( a friend of the family ) arguing in Mirrabelle. Karla decided to intervene. She told her mom that Harry is allowed to moved items because of the Renovation. ( Karla mom Lynn was there supposedly trying to comfort Karla because of her Grammy May passing) But anyways after sometime Karl and Harry decided to go to the decrepit cottage next door to find out what Fitzs had to show Karla. But when both Harry and Karla went in they found Fitz body slumped down with a note on his stomach. Come to find out it was not a suicide like they had thought. Then on another occasion Karla boyfriend Grif from way back found a skeleton on in the same Bellflower cottage. This was an alright book. But was lacking some parts to me in the story. Tory ( Mayor sister a actress a long time ago) was heading the Play A Christmas Carol. And Phyllis playing Mrs Santa ( she looked like tramp and Tory even told her.) And Herb were rehearsing what they were going to do. But Tory had other plans instead of hugging each other they were going to stage kiss. ( fake kiss) (Hanna and Lisa were watchong) So when it was time Phyllis grabbed Herb and really laid on the kiss. Lisa was absolutely Upset. She ran out and she was so upset saying that Herb wants her back. But Hanna said no I don't think so. Well any ways Phyllis was found dead at Corner Tavern where Lisa and Gahanna were eating. But there were a whole slew of people that did not her dead. Not just Lisa and Herb. I've always loved these books in series. Love the recipes that Joanne has in all the books. I have read almost all of them just need to read 8 more so far....more
