I loved the supportive frat bros, the whole scene that was set and the TaskFrat concept was very fun, the challenges were interesting and creative. I’m going to preface this by saying that I’ve been seriously struggling to convey my thoughts on my recent reads. I’ve been struggling with creativity and with putting together edits that I feel do the stories I’ve read justice. I hope it doesn’t seem like I loved the story any less, I’m just in a funk, it's totally on me. I really hope I come out of it soon and that maybe I’ll be able to return to this book and do better but for now here we go….. Shilo had me hooked from the summary. This book is far different from Garron Park and Lot 62. It's what I expected as friends to lovers but also not what I expected as too who Nate & Xavi would grow to be. They had always taken care and protected their brothers and each other but I always assumed they felt an obligation to do so, effects of their upbringing. But it’s something they were good at, something they could give back to others that are in that life like the trailer park family they grew up in. To be the door that could be knocked on when people were scared, hungry or just needed to be. I wasn’t expecting that, I knew they were different then Madd & Dev, that the story was different but I wasn’t expecting it to hit me in the chest the way it did. How resilient they are to turn a bad situation into something good, to overcome the crappy cards they had been dealt, to still want to do something good despite life just hurling stuff at them to keep them down. So much could be taken away from this book- mindset, determination, spark of hope to not give up when things are shit. These two were perfect for each other, seeing them from the beginning during Garron Park made their HEA so much sweeter. Wish I would have read this series sooner! ...more

I love his sweet, thoughtful, caring, cuddly massive heart. He brings so much light, laughter and just pure goodness onto every page he’s written. You can’t read him without a smile on your face. I loved how affectionate and positive he is, he has some of the best one liners I’ve read.
✨Joey Kangaroo, Joey Delgado. I could never imagine another character more perfect for Brad if I tried. He was unexpected and exactly who Brad needed. Thoughtful, caring, family man, supportive friend, the ultimate partner.
I’ve never laughed so much throughout a book. I think there was a permanent smile etched on my face the entire time. This story was everything I hoped for, for Brad. It’s got platonic cuddling, friends with bennies, bi awakening, supportive friends and family- and some familiar faces if you’ve met the Elite 8 guys! This is technically a standalone but would be more enjoyable if you read Himbo first where you meet Brad for the first time. *I want to thank Emmy for the opportunity to read and review this book, this is my honest opinion. ...more

I mean he’s hot, tattoos, piercings, a biker, with a beard and a backwards hat- were talking the entire package, are you fanning yourself yet?? But he’s always just been Lennox, Nick's younger brother, someone to look out for, someone who’s also like a little brother. Until one night at a bachelor party with some pole dancing and maybe a skirt and all of a sudden someone’s not as straight as they thought they were.
✨I loved Lennox- headstrong, confident and doing things on his time and not settling for anything less than he deserves. Jensen is like the perfect boyfriend and the right match for Lennox, he loves him just how he is- his sassiness and all, he’s such a sucker for Lennox and it’s adorable. I had just finished an ARC that was very intricate, the characters had a lot of depth and heart, there was just so much to the story that you had to take your time going through it to grasp it all. Now I wanted to keep with the depth and heart but wanted a little bit of a fast pace, easy to read loveable characters kinda of book. Stupid Dirty fit that bill perfectly. I loved Cade for stepping up into a role he didn’t have to at such a young age. Despite how he was raised, he wanted to do better for himself and his sisters, in such a small town that’s hard to do but he put himself through EMT school and got to make some cash while doing something that sets him free on the motocross course. I loved how easily he accepted Silas when he finally let’s his mask fall away. Silas has only ever known his dad and motocross. Eat, sleep, get yelled at by dad, motocross, repeat. EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. He’s never had friends, he doesn’t understand social cues, he’s essentially a robot. Until Cade finds him one night, in a really bad headspace and he doesn’t just walk away because he’s “ too crazy” . I just wanted to take him home and love him. It was clear early on that this poor guy missed out on so many important things a kid deserves from their parents growing up. His dad just infuriated me throughout the whole book, such a manipulating d*ckhead. I loved that these two broken boys found each other, and helped each other heal. There are some heavy themes in this book, so please check the trigger warnings before diving in. I look forward to see what Erin has in store for Ford & Tristan ...more
Wow wow wow! That was a bit of a wild ride and I loved every second of it. I had finished a really good read the other day and was struggling to pick Wow wow wow! That was a bit of a wild ride and I loved every second of it. I had finished a really good read the other day and was struggling to pick my next book. I was doing previews on Goodreads and I went through five previews and nothing off of my TBR was catching with how I was feeling that day and then I was able to read the whole prologue and the first page had me hooked right off the bat. I stayed up too late the first night, I had to force myself to go to sleep because I had to be an adult the next morning. But I honestly could’ve stayed up the entire night to finish reading this one. I think it was at maybe seven or 10% and I had added it to my shelf trophy wish list. I loved Nicky from the beginning. I knew he was a precious baby that needed to be protected. I loved how hardened Kade was with everybody in the world except for Nicky. How soft he was for him, how caring, and protective he was. The jealousy, the possessiveness, the obsession , the spice, the co-dependency, the touch him, and die was fantastic. Their love was absolutely toxic, but in the best way possible. This one put me through so many feels, there was a time that I wanted to fight EVERYBODY in this close minded town. I loved the epilogue. It was such a fitting ending for them. Highly recommended. ...more

I knew once I finished chapter one that this one was going to hurt my heart, but like only in that unique way that a really great book can. Where do II knew once I finished chapter one that this one was going to hurt my heart, but like only in that unique way that a really great book can. Where do I even start with Sammy and Will, they are a couple that just worms their way into your heart. You're rooting for them, even as your hearts breaking while you read their journey to get there. This story spans decades, you meet them when they are cute little guys on bikes and then again as the universe brings them back together as adults. If second chances aren’t typically your thing, I implore you to give this one a try, it might just change your perspective on this trope.
Sammy and Will are quite the opposite, Will dresses more in the preppy style but don’t let that fool you he’s got a heart of gold. Sammy has the skater boy image and puts on this tough exterior due to the life he’s grown up in and what he’s had to do to survive, the only one who’s ever taken the time to actually see him, is Will. Sammy has some exceptional growth throughout this book, he goes from a punka$$ kid mad at the world for the sh*tty hand he’s been dealt to an adult who’s found himself and made peace with his past. You finally see that big heart that only Will could see, he learned to channel his anger, and to let his defenses down. Will’s time away also changed him, life hadn’t been all the way kind to him, but that was for the best, it brings him back to where he needed to be, to reconnect with the people he long ago left behind, it takes him a little bit longer to have the kind of growth that Sammy does but he gets their and their hard fought HEA is so worth the emotional journey this book takes you on.

One of my booksta besties @bookishmeag48 has been trying to get me to read this for months and I’ve been putting it off because of the page length despite her raving reviews about it, i was really unprepared for the chokehold this book and these characters would have on me. I was maybe 60% in and was already looking at signed paperbacks, stickers and candles and I was like woooo slow your roll lol but seriously this one is worth all the hype, it deserves all the slides I see going around, and all the book stack pictures it’s included in. This is a story that sticks with you, these characters are ones that stick with you, a book that makes you feel like you're right there alongside them as the story unfolds. He’s always got a smile and something positive to say even to grumpy, RBF Braxton. And when Jimbob cracks that wall that Braxton has built up to protect himself it’s the sweetest thing. We all need someone that won’t give up, that makes you feel included, like you belong. This small Kansas town is the perfect little place for that, everyone knows everyone, everyone’s got a smile and a friendly hello, they help each other out and support one another. And don’t get me started on the cast of side characters and animals- YES the farm animals. I was just about ready to go by a plot of land and build a barn so I could have some cute little nuggets myself!
I believe this is the start of a new series, Homegrown Hearts, and I can’t wait to see more of these characters and where their stories take them! If you need something heartwarming and quick , pick this one up, it’s only about 215 pages or so, could be read in one sitting if you have the time, ends in a cute HEA!

But I love this story way too much to not scream about it properly.
✨This one really hit me in the feels, EVERY. SINGLE. FEELING. Ellis and Lucky's story from the beginning is magic. I’ve read many friends to lovers stories in the past and the connection these two share far surpasses them all. Ellis is remarkably special, so pure of heart seeing the world differently than most. Lucky barrels into his life at the age of 10, his world forever changing. Lucky is a free spirit, the life of the party, born to fly. He hears what Ellis is saying when he can’t find the words, understanding him when so few people do. They are fiercely protective of each other, loyal to a fault. No matter how far Lucky flies, he always comes home to his Ellis.
✨The imagery in the book is PERFECTION. The descriptions of their small Nebraska town, to all the places Lucky travels, makes you feel like you're right there with the characters as the story unfolds.
✨Prepare for the raw and unfiltered emotions this book is about to evoke, have tissues handy, probably carve out some time to read this because you're not going to want to put it down. I didn’t have that opportunity and everytime I had to stop it was KILLING me.
✨We all hope to find that one person who gets us, who understands us when others won’t even try. That don’t make us feel judged, that truly see us, that hear us when we can’t find the words. Someone who will always call us home. This is an absolute beautiful love story, with loads of mutual pining, a neurodivergent mc with selective mutism and a HEA thats going to make you melt.

This is my first book by T. Ashleigh and Addison Beck and damnnn they knocked this one out of the park and now I need to get my hands on the rest of their books! I fell in love with Silas and Blaine, the build up in the beginning was the perfect amount, just when you're ready to see more they give it to you! There’s so much to these characters, lots of growth and changes individually and together as a couple.
