I was swept away by humor and clever writing. I couldn't put the book down, much like The House in the Cerulean Sea, which is one of my favorite books. It is a harrowing conversation about death and what happens after we die, the grief and loss that follows, and how we can still focus on the good things. I fell in love with these characters, found another family, and I would recommend this journey to anyone.
It does touch on sensitive topics such as death, heart attack, suicide, afterlife, etc., so tread carefully. It is done so generously and with care....more
