Rosie has run away with her daughter to a small town in the hopes that her biker gang husband doesn't find them. She is given the cold shoulder by almost everyone right away when scandal about her and a highly regarded me member of the community gets around. One of the only people nice to her and her daughter is the crazy man in the camper next store who keeps calling her the witch queen. A human that specializes in magical artifact finding, a witch who wants her to only work for him, and a bit of time travel? There was defiantly a lot going on and I loved every bit of it. Tamsyn Bligh is the human whose super sassy banter has me chuckling through the book. Also the spiciest of them all, but still very tame. Only problem is that she is locked into a contract with Bowen and isn't suppose to be doing any "freelance" work anymore. She decides that won't stop her and she is going for the pay out, the last thing she expected was to run into Bowen at the exact wedding she is crashing. ...more

Wells moves to the area and open a magic shop right across the street from Gwyn’s magic shop, creating a glorious rivalry. The students at the school also need a place to practice magic and Gwyn is letting them use the shop, nothing could go wrong. Still witty and fun but we start to get into dark magic so a bit more spooky. ...more
