No seriously, I was so over the moon ecstatic that she announced we were going back to the Boston Blizzard universe one last time.
Not only were we graced with the whole gang, which I would like to personally say THANK YOU to Candice for giving me my boy Dalton in all of his goofy deliciousness, but we were introduced to Jett and Bailey. Jett and Bailey were childhood friends who lost touch and reconnected during the week of the Super Bowl when Bailey was hired to be Dia's aesthetician for the week. They immediately rekindled their friendship and a romantic relationship immediately sparked! Now in true novella fashion, this is an insta-love situation but they have so much love and history for one another it just seemed right for them.
I want to talk about Jett real quick. This man is the biggest Pleasure Dom golden retriever I have ever had the pleasure of fictionally meeting. He was so emotionally available, had open and honest conversation, had no problem telling Bailey how he felt, put her needs above his own and made sure she was well taken care off, if you know what I mean ...more
I first want to start off with how excited I was for Crew and Kota's book. If you have read The Puck Arrangement, then you were already introduced to I first want to start off with how excited I was for Crew and Kota's book. If you have read The Puck Arrangement, then you were already introduced to Crew and Kota. They instant disliked one another and their prank wars was so funny to me. And I was excited to see how their story unfolded during the same timeline of Lane and Bridget.
Now with that being said, I do want to say that this book is the EXACT SAME timeline as The Puck Arrangement, it is just in Crew and Kota's point of views, which means there is a lot of overlapping with the both books. Which to me I found to be redundant at times. I also felt like it made the book a lot longer than it needed to be. But with that being said, I did enjoy the book.
I really loved Crew and Kota. Both of them come from broken families, which have created them to be who they are today. They both don't feel like they are worthy of being in loving relationships and carry a lot of trauma. But this is what makes them such a perfect pair.
One of my favorite things about this book is the fact that these two hated each other at first sight. And it was only amplified when they became roommates. Their prank wars on each other made me giggle. Their sexual tension just grew as the story continued and the forced proximity created a ticking time bomb for them to finally say f**k it. And then they just kept saying F it. And leave it up to the playboy himself to break down Kota's walls.
I did truly enjoy this duet. I loved reading both of these couples stories.

Holy swoon! I don't think I have ever swooned so hard in a single dad romance before in my life and that is fully contributed to a little boy named BoHoly swoon! I don't think I have ever swooned so hard in a single dad romance before in my life and that is fully contributed to a little boy named Bodhi. He literally stole the show and made this book a 5 star banger! Piper Rayne, that you for making the decision to make him such a large part of this story. I melted every time I got to his chapters in his POV. I NEVER read a book where the child in the story has their own POV, which was really refreshing. It also made me fall in love with him and the story even more!
I also loved that this was a second chance romance. I am such a sucker for a second chance romance, specifically when they were together in highschool. There is just something about the reunion of two people who were high school sweethearts and first loves. It makes my little heart so happy. And this was exactly Jade and Henry's story. In fact their story is rather complex. And their love for one another was strong. Even after everything they have been through, their love was still there when they were reunited.
I also want to mention, I loved the humor in this book. I love everyone's nicknames and Henry's is the best. They call him Daddy, which is really fitting for his demeanor and the fact that he is fact a daddy. But the humor around his nickname and then when Jade insinuates calling him daddy was so funny! I also really loved Jade's personality. Yes, she is still finding herself which makes her a little bit of a wanderer in life but it was complimentary to Henry's more rigid self. Not to mentioned I loved the banter and then Henry's dirty mouth. Perfect combination!
At the end of the day, this is another smashing 5 star banger by Piper Rayne. I am absolutely loving this series can NOT wait for the next book! That epilogue has me NEEDING that book immediately!

Like Hannah delivered with this one. And now that it is over, I'mm like where do we go from here? Everything about this book was perfect. I felt so many emotions for Kolt and Paige. I laughed, cried, and felt frustrated. So be prepared to go along the rollercoaster of a marriage in crisis.
I believe the marriage in crisis trope is one that is both under hyped and not often written and personally I don't know why. I have never read a book with a more realistic storyline with very realistic struggles. The struggles that Kolt and Paige experience in their marriage is unfortunately one that many struggle with and that is infertility. Infertility can cause so much stress between a couple. And this is the cause of the strain between Kolt and Paige which ultimately lead them to their seperation but when Kolt experiences a heart attack and Paige is his emergency contact, it's their second chance to repair their relationship and Kolt refuses to let Paige walk away.
Not only is this one an emotional read but it was so beautifully written. Hannah took a topic that way too many of us have experienced and create a story that is written in a way that will make you realize you are not alone. And to see Kolt and Paige work on their relationship was beautiful. I didn't want this one to end. So to say this was an easy 5 star banger is an understatement. Ugh I loved it so much!

Sometimes I feel like the single dad x nanny romances can be redundant and over done but let me tell you something, this one was so perfectly executedSometimes I feel like the single dad x nanny romances can be redundant and over done but let me tell you something, this one was so perfectly executed. Tell Me Lies is definitely hands down one of my favorite single dad x nanny hockey romances for so many reasons and here is why:
1. I absolutely loved Logan Sterns. This man is a daddy in every sense of the way. Not only is this man a sexy hockey player but he is also one of the BEST fictional dads. His start to fatherhood was rough and I really feel for him but he is so present with Amelia. This man also has all of the corny dad jokes. Like he knows they are corny but he can't help him. He embraces the fact that he is such a dad. On top of that this man has a filthy mouth on him. And the fact that he was Maci's inspiration for her next book, say less.
2. The next reason why I loved this book? Maci! I felt like she was such a different type of nanny than more. Like she didn't seek out this job. She has a career, which is as a romance author. But after a tragedy she has had a writing block, hence why she is helping out Logan. But the way that this woman embraced Amelia like her own and their relationship was so heartfelt. I also found it interesting that Logan and Maci are connected in a very tragic way on the day Amelia was born.
3. The last reason I absolutely loved this book: Amelia! She was a lovely addition to this book. She was smart for a 3 year old, has such a strong and loving relationship with Logan and truly bonded with Maci. I also loved that she loved Maci's mastiff and highland cows, because same! I never thought I could relate to a fictional toddler on such a unique level before in my life.
At the end of the day, I absolutely loved this book. I didn't want to put it down. The plot was great. The characters were lovely. And this one has me so excited for what is to come with this series!

This book had me immediately hooked to the point that I kind of low key wanted to abandon all of my adult responsibilities.
I loved how this book startThis book had me immediately hooked to the point that I kind of low key wanted to abandon all of my adult responsibilities.
I loved how this book started off with Rowan and Kyleigh meeting at a wedding. Their sexual tension and chemistry was palpable. Kyleigh knew who Rowan was from the moment she spotted him and she went after what she wanted. But she gave Rowan a fake name because she didn't want him to know that she was the little sister of his teammate. They agreed to one night of fun but when Rowan wakes up to an empty bed he realizes he wants more. So when he sees Kyleigh at breakfast, he sees it as his opportunity to ask for me.
I loved every single thing about this book! I loved everything about the plot. It kept me interested and wanting more. But I also truly loved Kyleigh and Rowan. Separately they are both dealing with some trauma and seeking each other to forget and heal. But what ends up happening, is not only do they help each other heal but they also develop this friendship which blossomed into a healthy relationship. But I loved how Kyleigh's brother found out about her with his teammate.
So if you are looking for a hockey romance add this one to your TBR! I promise that you will love this plot, the characters and the world building that sets up the rest of this series!

You know what Cali Melle does right? Hockey romance! Every single hockey romance that I have read by Cali Melle is a straight banger and Make Your MovYou know what Cali Melle does right? Hockey romance! Every single hockey romance that I have read by Cali Melle is a straight banger and Make Your Move is not different!
Make Your Move is the first book in Cali's new interconnected hockey romance series called Aston Archers. The first book follows Lincoln and Nova. Lincoln and Nova have known each other since they were children. Lincoln is best friends with Nova's older brother Nash. After Lincoln has spent the last several years away playing for another hockey team, he was traded to the Aston Archers. Nash offered Lincoln to stay with him until he settles in and finds a place of his own. What Lincoln doesn't know if Nova also lives with Nash along with her two year old daughter Posey. Being back in Aston and around Nova, Lincoln realizes his feelings for Nova still exists.
Ok listen besties, I straight DEVOURED this one! This book is unproblematic with no third act break up. So can we get a round of applause for that one? Not only is this book unproblematic, the plot is sweet and the side characters only build on what is to come for this series which had me hooked. I absolutely loved Lincoln. He's been in love with Nova for years but of course she was severely off limits but he's done caring. The way that he was with not only Nova but her daughter made me swoon. He loved Posey like his own and was there to take the stress off Nova, which was so sweet. Also can we just talk about how Nash found out about his best friend and little sister... like you realize y'all are all roommates right? Getting freaky in a common area meant it was only a matter of time that Nash was going to walk in... but honestly Nash was very understanding. I loved how he told Nova that he couldn't pick a better man for her. Like ugh we love!
I'm going to be honest, this book had some of my favorite tropes. Which is the making of a 5 star banger. I personally believe the brother's best friend trope is so underrated. I will also say, I am so excited for what is to come with this new series by Cali. And let me tell you somThe moment I picked up Line of Scrimmage and met Chase and Summer, I knew they were end game and couldn't wait for their book. And let me tell you something, Chase and Summer’s book was well worth the wait! This book had me blushing, kicking my feet and giggling like a little school girl!
Chase is a pro football player and Summer's best friends older brother that she has been crushing on for almost two decades. She's never hid her crush. She openly flirts with Chase. And Chase has always acted like she annoyed him until he needed help with his daughter and who was there to help him? Summer. When Chase finally admitted that he finally sees Summer, he falls so damn hard and I was living for every single moment of it.
I have to say, I resonated with and saw a lot of myself in Summer. I loved her fun personality. I loved how she had no problem watching Chase squirm as she openly flirted with him. She was honestly exactly what Chase needed. Chase needed someone to bring a zest to his life and she definitely brought color to Chase and CeCe's life.
I love all of the boys in the Out of Bounds series but I have to say, Chase definitely has a special spot in my heart. He has been through a lot and I loved seeing him break down his walls for himself and his daughter. You really see his struggles being a single parent and how he takes on all the stress. And like I mentioned before, Summer can in and told him every day that he's doing an amazing job and it's what he needed to hear. Now can we talk about how cute CeCe is! She was the light of this story. Her love for her daddy was the cutest this ever.
Ugh Erin, I just want to say, thank you for finally giving us Chase and Summer! It was everything and wanted and so much more! So if you are looking for a single dad football romance, The Playbook is for you! Add it to your TBR today and you can thank me later!

I never knew I needed a golf romance until I picked up Perfect Praise. Now I'm like, I never knew such a boring sport could be sexy... so for that I am thankful for Grace Pearce!
I want to start off by saying I love Grace and I am thankful she graced me with a book that I never knew I needed. To say that I straight DEVOURED this book is an understatement. I loved everything about this book! I loved Locke and Maren, loved the plot and loved the spice. It was all around an easy 5 star banger for me.
I loved that this book is showcasing a different sport. There are not many golf romances out there and I think that is what piqued my interest. It was different than all of the sports romances that I have read. Not to mention I did like the plot. I loved how Locke is a grumpy professional golfer and Maren in the PGA photographer who is also the ex of Locke's rival. They enter into this "fake friendship" to help Maren become more confident since she is a people pleaser who cares too much. But of course, Locke becomes obsessed with our girl. She is exactly what he needs but he is also a complex character with his own issues he needs to work through. But at the end of the day, I loved their character growth both together and separately.
Now I will say, after reading this book I will never look at golf carts and golf clubs the same way ever again. I will not go into detail. All I will say is you will need to read the book to find out what I mean ...more
Miss Ruth! Boy did you deliver with this one! As sad as I am to see this series come to an end, you really went out with a bang with this one! Not onlMiss Ruth! Boy did you deliver with this one! As sad as I am to see this series come to an end, you really went out with a bang with this one! Not only did we get everything wrapped up in a nice little bow but you also gave us a little snippet of what is to come.
If you have read this whole series, than you know out boy Jessie has always been rather mysterious. I knew that he had a story tell but I the story that Ruth gave us was one that was so impactful, emotional and moving! It is also one that I didn't see coming! My heart broke for Jessie. This poor boy is broken and the things that he has had to endure throughout his life was truly heartbreaking. And to see him work through his demons to come out on the other side was nice to see.
I really loved Mia. She is truly a perfect match for Jessie. Not only is she understanding of his past but she is so accepting. She sees past his "flaws and demons" and encourages him to see the good in his life. The way she just supports him was so beautiful. I also loved how this was a forbidden relationship. Mia is the daughter of Jessie's old GM and mentor. And boy is there an unresolved past that they need to work through. But I loved how Jessie didn't care that his future in hockey was on the line if he pursued Mia. He was going to make her his again no matter the consequences. And we love a man who will stop at nothing to make his woman his.
Ruth, again, thank you for a 5 star banger! You really outdid yourself with this one. I know you poured your heart and soul into Jessie's story and it shows. This one was pure perfection!

New book boyfriend unlocked. Remington Tate everyone. This man I literal perfection. And that is how I am going to convince you too read this book butNew book boyfriend unlocked. Remington Tate everyone. This man I literal perfection. And that is how I am going to convince you too read this book but first...
Can we please talk about how this is a debut novel... like Taylor, you knew what you were doing with this one and it was a smash! I loved everything about this book from the plot, to our cinnamon roll MMC and even the side characters! These two were so unproblematic, there was no third act break up and our MMC was perfect. The only thing that I would have added would be a little drama between Roman and Remi but other than that, it was amazing!
Ok let's get into the nitty gritty. Sideline Play follows Remington Tate, who is the catcher for the Nighthawks, and Scarlet Jones, who is the daughter for the Nighthawks coach and athletic trainer in training for the team. When Remington get hurt, it's Scarlet who is in charge of his rehab. And Remi sees this as his opportunity to make her his! From the start this man has no problem going after Scarlet. He leans into his feelings and he won't let anything get in his way, not even her brother.
Remington is by far the perfect book boyfriend. He is emotionally available, talks openly about his feelings, does not play games and he provides a safe space for Scarlet to be vulnerable. So my question is, where can we find a Remi in real life? Asking for a friend... Now Scarlet, she grew up around baseball. Her father is a baseball player turned coach and she lives, eats and breathes the game. But being a woman means she needs to overcome some adversity and she is determined to make a name for herself. She herself is a pretty strong FMC. She does have some trauma that she experienced in her past that she works through throughout this book and Remington held her hand through the whole process creating a safe environment.
Now let's touch on the spice. This one is spicy. Our girl experienced some assault and trauma in her past. And a way to help her work through that is by reading smut. By doing this she realized there are some kinks she wants to explore. And who is there to help her explore? Our boy Remington. He not only read her books but also helped her explore these kinks. Two kinks that play a big roll in this book includes breeding and daddy kink. So enjoy!
Lastly, I want to talk about the side characters in this book. I absolutely ADORED Scarlet's dad! He is literally the BEST dad ever! They have a truly amazing relationship. And I love seeing healthy parental relationships in books and this is definitely one of those! He dad just was seriously so sweet. I also loved Scarlet's brother Roman. He is overprotective and will do anything for her. Which makes me excited for his book! But can we also talk about Roman's best friend Reeves... this man is also amazing. He provided some amazing comedic relief. And I ask the question, is Reeves getting his own book because it's a NEED not a want.

There are no words to describe how much I loved this book and the dynamic between Wren and Wyatt! Ginger really knocked it out of the park with this one! You are first introduced to Wren and Wyatt in Easy Out, which is the first book in the Newhouse University series. Wyatt is portrayed as this playboy who is just looking to have fun and Wren is this girl who seems anti-social. So these two on the outside seem like such an odd pairing but it works in the best possible way.
This book starts off with Wyatt begging Wren to help him set him up with her roommate. Wren wants nothing to do with Wyatt. She finds him annoying. Can't stand the way he texts. But at the same time is questioning why she's attracted to him. Wyatt is supposed to be going after Charlie, Wren's roommate but the more time he spends with Wren, he loves annoying her, finds her being mean to him as a turn on and doesn't understand why she gets hims rooster crowing. When I tell you these two are opposites, I am not lying but they bring out the best in each other.
I was absolutely LIVING for Wren and Wyatt's witty banter. For every annoying thing that Wyatt did to Wren, Wren had a witty comeback. Their banter never stopped. It was top tier. And it is what made this book so entertaining. But besides their witty banter, both Wren and Wyatt both had amazing personal inner monologues. Their monologues were hilarious. I also loved their character development both separately and together as a couple. These two are such opposites. Wren has her quirks and Wyatt is a Casanova who can't be bothered. Surface level these two shouldn't make sense. But they truly brought out the best in each other. Wren thought she wasn't lovable and was willing to settle for an arranged marriage but Wyatt proved to her that she is lovable and he LOVED all of her qualities that she thought no one would love and accept.
This book was everything I wanted and more! It made me giggle, blush and swoon so hard. I just loved this book so much! So if you are looking for a new book to add to you TBR I highly suggest adding this one! You will not be disappointed!

It's so unhinged and their conversations crack me up!
If you have read the Pucking Wrong series then you know these men are unhinged. Like all we see are red flags but we love these men for those flags. And let me tell you something, Camden has so many red flags that will make you so weak in the knees!
I absolutely loved Camden and Anastasia. The moment that Camden laid eyes on Anastasia he was OBSESSED and we love that. My favorite thing about this book is that he knew he was turning into a stalker and he was making excuses why it was ok. The things he did to make her see him and date him was unhinged. Not to mention the "dick-orations" that this man did. It's definitely something that I don't think has been done before and I am here for it. It's a simple of true love lol
Now I will say that Camden and Anastasia come from similar traumatizing backgrounds. Yes they experienced different traumas but at the same time these trauma's brought them together. Camden is able to relate to Ana on a different level.
Ok that's all. The word for this book is unhinged. I loved it. I devoured it. I loved Camden. And as always, these books are always a good time! So if you are wondering if you should read this book, the answer is yes!

Dead Rinker is Ruth Stilling BEST book yet! I said what I said! When I tell you I could NOT put this book, I could NOT put this book down! I loved eveDead Rinker is Ruth Stilling BEST book yet! I said what I said! When I tell you I could NOT put this book, I could NOT put this book down! I loved everything about it. I wouldn't change a thing!
From the beginning of this series, I have told Ruth that I needed JJ's book and that he was going to be my favorite MMC of the series. And guess what? I was right! This man does NOT disappoint. Put a fork in me I'm cooked, this fictional man has me gagged and in a chokehold. Like I loved everything about him. And Kate? I loved her. I saw so much of myself in her and to see herself break down her walls and be vulnerable enough to fall in love with JJ, it made me weak!
Now I will say, I now a lot of people do not like the surprise pregnancy trope, but let me tell you something, Ruth perfectly executed this one! It was done so well. To see a woman like Kate not be able to accept help from anyone and then have JJ be a man who wants to treat Kate like the princess she is and do everything for her, they are truly the perfect match. And their HEA made me swoon! Not to mention everything that came out of JJ's mouth. Like every time he confessed he would wait for her, that Kate was his end game and that he loved her, my millennial knees caved. I'm in love!
Honestly, every book in this series just keeps getting better and better and I can't wait to see what Ruth has up her sleeves for the next book!

It was the cutest read that I have read in a long time. This book had me in all of my feels. I smiled like a little school girl, I blushed, I swooned and I cried. I wasn’t expecting so many emotions from book and I'm not mad about it.
I first want to talk about the plot. I loved this plot. It is so different than anything I have ever read. The vibes of this book is a mix of the movies Step Up and Honey with a baseball player MMC. Hart and Lauren come from different backgrounds but each of their childhoods have affected them as young adults. Lauren lost her mother at a young age and never met her father. She grew up in foster care which has created the woman she is today. This is also the reason why she works so hard to help the kids in her neighbor strive for a brighter future. Hart was bullied as a kid due to his stutter which caused him to be broody and quiet. As you can imagine, Hart is the master of one word sentences but when he speaks, he spoke with such intention. These two seem like opposites at first but once their stories are revealed they are more alike and the relationship that they create is so beautiful. For two people who are so closed off to the world, to see them fall in love with each other, be vulnerable and be each other's strength was such a beautiful thing to read.
I also want to say, I didn't expect this book to go in the direction that it did. Like I mentioned I really loved this plot. I liked the twist and I loved all of the side characters! I am so thankful a friend gifted me this book because I don't know if I would have read this one. But she knew I needed this book and I am so grateful for that.

I felt like I was cheating on Ares theBella had one mission with this book: give me an MMC to take over Ares Wilder's top spot. And besties, she did. I felt like I was cheating on Ares the whole time I read this book but I can't deny that Bella delivered with Callen Sinclair. Callen Sinclair is pure perfection and you are going to fall in love with him! Oh and this book, if I could give it infinite stars I would! It is just that good!
If there is one thing you should know about me is that I love everything that Bella Matthews writes but Redeeming may be my favorite book to date! And we can thank that to Callen freaking Sinclair! So Callen Sinclair is the star football player and his heroine, Caitlin, is his best friends little sister and mafia princess who is most definitely off limits. And she has been for years until Callen can no longer fight it. So what happens when you get your best friends little sister pregnant? Looks like you will have read Redeeming to find out!
For those of you who are familiar with the Bella-verse then Caitlin and Callen are not strangers. You know Callen as the playboy football player who always has a new girl on his arm and you would never expect him to settle down. And Caitlin is seen as loud and annoying to the boys. She's never really been included, thanks to her big brother Maddox. But you see a very different side of both of them in this book. And to find out that these two has a history and have been pining for each other for years was something I didn't see coming.
What I didn't expect? Callen to be such a protective hero. We all know Caitlin's dad is the big ole bad mafia boss Sam Beneventi. He's scary. But you know who wasn't scared? Callen. Our boy had no problem going toe to toe with Sam for his girl. In fact he had no problem telling anyone his true feelings and intentions with Caitlin. She came first and we love to see that in a hero.
I'm honestly just at a loss for words. Every book that I read from Bella just keeps getting better and better. I just love everything that she writes. Her books are such comfort reads for me. I know when I pick up one of her books it's going to be a 5 star banger. In fact, her books feel like coming home. I feel like I am one with with world and I can never get enough. So Bella, thank you for taking the challenge to give me an MMC that tops Ares. You have succeeded. So now you need to top Callen ;) Have fun!!!!
You should most definitely read this book if you like: - Football Romance - Surprise Pregnancy - Brother's Best Friend - Golden Retriever x Black Cat - Forbidden - Touch Her and Die

So she said hold my beer and gave me NIXON SINCLAIR and when I tell you this man is literal perfection, he is LITERAL PERFECTION! It has been a couple days since I have finished Tempting and Nixon has lived rent free in my head ever since.
I absolutely love this little universe that Bella has created and I feel like I am part of this chaotic group of friends and family. So it felt so good to be back in Kroydon Hills. Tempting is Kenzie and Nixon's story. I have always been intrigued by Kenzie because she was always around and part of the unhinged girls group chat but was away for med school so it was so nice to get to know her and her personality. Now Nixon, we were introduced to him in The Sweet Spot and let me tell you something, you are not ready for Nixon.
I absolutely loved Kenzie and Nixon. Kenzie is on the shy side and has spent the last several years in med school which means she hasn't focus on much of anything else. This has made her feel self conscious in the love department. This is where Nixon steps in... this man has been crushing on Kenzie since they have been kids, and I quote "this girl was the first girl I ever crushed on before I even knew all the ways I wanted to make her scream my fucking name." I mean once I read that line, I was like sir, I love you.
Nixon wasn't shy about what he wanted. He entered into this "fake dating" scenario to help her because you know they are "friends" and we all know this song and dance. Just like Easton said, "Yeah. That's what I used to say about Lindy too. You're fucking screwed, Sinclair. Don't say I didn't warn ya." Can we also talk about the mouth of this man? Everything that came out of his mouth turned me into a puddle. And then what he did with that mouth, dear lord. I'm a goner. I'm officially in love with a fictional man!
But oh man, I just loved their story. I straight devoured it. I couldn't put it down. Read it in a day. This is by far one of my favorites from Bell. Nixon rivals Ares for me and Tempting will be a top read for me. And I truly hope you love this book as much as I did! If I could give this book infinite ♾️ ⭐️ I would!
You should most definitely read this book if you love: - Pro Hockey Romance - Childhood Crush/Friends to Lovers - Fake Dating - Best Friend's Brother - They are Neighbors - Spicy Lessons - Teammate's Little Sister - Found Family

He's a cinnamon roll who just wanted to find the love of his life. Only to be gaslit by Amie, who cheated on him and then claimed she was pregnant which then landed him in the hospital. Talk about getting beat up when you have already been knocked down so I was so excited to for his happy ever after because this man deserves it!
I absolutely loved Zach and Luna both individually and as a couple. I loved how Zach is this cinnamon roll hockey playter who is tattooed and pierced (it's always the ones you least expect). But what I loved most? Luna! Luna is such a different FMC. She's that quiet girl from school who was into space and astronomy. She's introverted and has been pining for Zach since high school but she never thought her crush on him would ever amount to anything. But fast forward years later when they are reunited for a summer while Zach recovers in the off season and our girl goes for what she wants! Luna showed no fear and pursued Zach, which was so nice to see.
Throughout this whole book, I couldn't stop smiling. It made my heart so full. It made me feel good. And honestly it's the exact story I wanted Zach to have. I am so happy that these two got the happy ever after they both deserve!
You should most definitely add this one to your TBR if you like: - Hockey Romance - High School Friends to Lovers - Friend's Ex - She Falls First but He Falls HARDER - One Bed - Found Family - Tattooed and Pierced MMC - MC's in their 30's - Lots of Spice, Swoon and Banter

I have been a CL Rose fan from the beginning and as sad as I was to see the end of the Boston Blizzard series, I am so excited for this next series! AI have been a CL Rose fan from the beginning and as sad as I was to see the end of the Boston Blizzard series, I am so excited for this next series! And let me tell you something, Candice is hitting it out of the park with the first book in this new series. I mean this is a baseball romance with primal play. Dare I say more?
If you have read the Boston Blizzard series then you were introduced to both Riggs and Monroe. Riggs is a professional baseball player and Monroe is Riggs's little sister's best friend. These two had a steamy first meeting years ago and have been enemies ever since. But when Riggs finds himself in need of a girlfriend to clean up his image, the girl for the job is Monroe. And boy was this a fun ride!
Besties, I was living for Monroe and Riggs's relationship. I loved these two both individually and together as a couple. Monroe is a straight up queen. She's a strong and feisty FMC who has no problem giving Riggs a witty comeback. Which only added to their banter, which is TOP TIER banter by the way! Like I was living for their banter. But Monroe is a queen and the moment she called Riggs a good boy, I was cooked. Like put a fork me, I strive to be Monroe.
Now Riggs, I loved him. Dare I say he may have taken Dalton's number one spot for me in Candice's world, and that means a lot because I ride hard for my boy Dalton. Riggs was everything I wanted and more. I loved how possessive he was. I loved how open and vulnerable he was with Monroe. I loved how he could be himself and show a side of myself that no one else sees. And not to mention, I loved him primal animalistic side, which was fully supported by Monroe. They are truly a match made in heaven.
Honestly, this was an easy 5 star banger. I knew very early on this was going to be a 5 star read. I was instantly hooked and never wanted to put this down. Candice's writing style has grown and just keeps getting better and better! I am so excited for what is to come with this new series!
You should most definitely read this book in you like: - Baseball Romance - Best Friend's Brother - Enemies to Lovers - Fake Dating - Forced Proximity - Possessive MMC - Tattoo and Pierced FMC
