I'm not sure how to put my rating on this one into words, but I'll try. I liked the characters for the mo2.5⭐️ Callum + Jett Strangers | Brat | Age gap
I'm not sure how to put my rating on this one into words, but I'll try. I liked the characters for the most part. The story felt sped up though. Like limited detail for no real reason. It wasn't a novella. So it was as if the author just said "long story short". It just made it hard to stay attached to the story and characters when things felt incomplete, choppy, or abrupt throughout. This is my first book from this author, so I'm not sure if that's their standard or not.

Really disappointed. Can't recommend it. The whole book felt like a 3rd act breakup.
Felix is insufferablNico + Felix Rivals to lovers | Ballet dancers
Really disappointed. Can't recommend it. The whole book felt like a 3rd act breakup.
Felix is insufferable and only redeems himself slightly by the end of the book, if at all. There's spoiled brats and toxicity and then there's Felix. Sweet baby Nico deserved so much more than he got but unfortunately for him, he fell in love with an idiot. We also had side characters interfering with this relationship the entire time to the point where you could mistake the second MC as someone else entirely for a good portion of the book.
Felix and Nico had their first time together and then Felix literally goes and gets plowed raw by the other guy the next day. When Nico requested they don't see anyone else he was told no. Again, he deserved so much more. He gave so much and received crumbs in return.
The only thing this book had going for it was Nico and the mirror sex scene.
This was also my first Scarlett book and will probably be my last.

This was disappointing. Some super annoying issues that were hard to look past.
First problem:Micah + Tadhg Stepbrothers | Feminization | Hurt/Comfort
This was disappointing. Some super annoying issues that were hard to look past.
First problem: There is a scene with OM/OW drama where both MCs are fucking different people in the same house and trying to make each other jealous. One of them was with a woman which a lot of people reading MM dont want to see on page. Perhaps don't bring other people into your childish games and have a conversation instead.
Second problem: Micah cried homophobia every 5 seconds. Someone would just be in his vicinity and he said they were being homophobic. He was being completely ridiculous about it and just assuming everyone had ill intentions towards him. Not. Everyone. Is. Out. To. Get. You.
Third problem: Political tangents that added no purpose to the plot. This is supposed to be entertaining fiction. I'm not here to read your political points in a book. Go write an autobiography for that. Yeah yeah you can write whatever you want but as a reader this is obnoxious. I'm reading to escape reality. Mmmkay. That's why I read fiction and not self help.
