This book stars Rory (a fairly recent addition to Autre, Louisiana) and Drew (yes, THAT Drew, as in "Drew-f'ing-Ryan" of Hot Cakes fame, from Appleby, Iowa). The story opens with their meet-cute, and only gets cuter (and hotter!) from there! These two couple fall in insta-love from pretty much the moment that they first lay eyes on each other. Neither is what the other is looking for (or at least so they think), but both are exactly what each of them needs. I loved that while there was some tension and drama, there was no real angst, and it certainly wasn't between Rory and Drew. But, of course, he is pretty much the perfect guy, equal parts sweet and dirty! And she is just a doll, just needing enough love and acceptance to flourish. Luckily, they feel comfortable enough with each other to share the things that are really important. And they just proceeded full-speed-ahead toward their happily-ever-after, even though neither of them could figure out how they were going to achieve that given their circumstances. But love (like life) will always find a way, especially if there are any Landrys around to help with it!
