Emma's husband Jesse is assumed dead after his plane goes down. After years of grieving, she falls in love with Sam and finally putting her life is being put back together. I felt every bit of loss that Emma was feeling. You know when you begin that Jesse isn't dead and it doesn't lessen the pain.
Taylor Jenkins Reid is a beautiful writer. I adored BOTH Sam and Jesse. Usually, in books like these one of the guys are slightly, or a lot, jerkier than the other but here they're both wonderful. And for that I had to give it 5 stars. ...more
